Riley walked casually in the direction Anna had gone , making sure to arrive right as Velkan begun transforming under the light of the full moon.
He walked up beside Anna and patted her leg to get her attention then said "Wipe your tears princess , your brother will be fine.
I will knock him out and we will get the cure."
Anna hesitated and looked at Riley for a second then wiped the tears and her face before nodding as she stepped back.
"No...Anna...RUOOAARR!!!!!!"
Velkan's transformation completed before he could get the warning out but Riley was instead excited as he looked at the werewolf so he made sure to reassure the approaching Van Hellsing before he could shoot.
"Dont worry about it Van Hellsing , i will deal with him."
In a blur of speed , Riley shot towards the transformed Velkan and landed a casual slap on his snout with about 10% of his physical strength.
Velkan was plucked off the wall by the force of Riley's slap and shot out the window with a loud whimper of pain.
"Okay , I might have to avoid using fists. Wouldn't want to accidentally kill him."
Before following Velkan outside, Riley told the now very worried Anna and the exasperated Van Hellsing to prepare an isolated place to hold Velkan.
Riley had to promise , many times , to control his strength and not kill Velkan who they were now more worried about than afraid of.
It seemed that the werewolf had taken the predestined path and first hid in the graveyard area as expected so Riley decided to humor him and after appearing in the town , he strolled through the streets like he had no idea where the transformed Velkan was.
He had intentionally left himself open to attacks multiple times and tried to get Velkan to attack but it seemed werewolf instincts were pretty good.
The werewolf would hesitate everytime it prepared to leap at him or attack then its entire body shivered and it continued sneaking around.
Soon Riley reached the cemetery area which had the only other person out at this time of the night. That strange transylvanian who buried the town's dead , who was also now the bait to draw out the werewolf.
Riley didn't bother speaking with the creepy grave digger and just walked past the coffins and him , heading straight to the newly dug Graves.
The grave digger followed behind Riley silently while hiding in the darkness until they finally reached the cemetery and the transformed Velkan made his move.
The werewolf had already fully regenerated and only had some dried blood where Riley's slap had brocken it's jaw and torn its snout , and it pounced aiming to clamp it's healed jaw on the man's shoulder with all it's strength and weight.
"Finally."
Pointing a palm at the pouncing werewolf , Riley shot out a controlled bolt of yellow gold lightening which hit with explosive force , burning and shocking the beast as it threw him into an open upright wooden coffin a couple of feet away.
The street went silent for a few seconds which the grave digger broke with his whimpering.
"Why are you even still here?"
Riley's words and the loud growl from the stirring werewolf broke the man out of his stupor and he hurried away while trying to hide the wet spot on his pants.
'Did he actually pee on himself.' though Riley in amusement.
"...GRAAARR.."
The werewolf quickly recovered and got up locking eyes with Riley.
This time there was a change which surprised Riley. The werewolf's eye whites had turned red and it's breathing was much heavier.
Riley's observation Haki could clearly percieve that the beasts strength had increased by almost 80%.
'That is unexpected. Is this some sort of ability of theirs.'
The werewolf also showed clear signs of even more animalistic behaviour and rushed at Riley in a wild ravenous frenzy. It almost seemed like it had entered a Berserker state.
Riley dodged the first swipe of it's claws and smacked the other paw aside bruising it and fracturing the bones.
The werewolf brought it's maw down to bite off Riley's face but he flipped into the air and dodged before bringing down an axe kick on the back of the beast's skull.
Werewolf Velkan's head was smashed into the grown forming a crater while a loud crack resounded before the beasts twitching body went still.
That didn't kill him though and his large body immediately started healing up but Riley was already somewhat disappointed in the werewolf's Berserker state.
When the first growl came out of the werewolf's maw and it begun to twitch , Riley got off and stood right infront of it again then pressed down on it's head with one palm.
The beast woke up and started growling and struggling to get up , even trying to claw at Riley , but it couldn't move an inch.
It didn't seem like pure force was enough to make the werewolf stop resisting so Riley decided to try something else.
Even though his conqueror's Haki was newly awakened , Riley had strong enough willpower and an enhanced brain which made it alot easier to control it to some extent.
Riley closed his yes for a few seconds then suddenly opened them causing a wave of dark fiery red ethereal energy to erupt from him and spread out through the cemetery.
His current range for Conqueror haki expression was less than 20 metres but for now , that was enough to end the werewolf's struggles.
The werewolf whimpered loudly then stopped struggling completely instead laying down flat afterwhich the transformation started reversing until Velkan was back , surprisingly with his pants intact.
"Okay , let's head back to the castle now prince Velkan. You should be able to remain in control for a while."
Riley held the still disoriented prince's hand and led him through the streets and towards the castle.
"I'm finding it very hard to believe that you are infact 7 years old." The prince said in a still strained and tense but much more calm tone.
Riley had narrated to him basically everything that happened since they arrived in Transylvania and he also told him about Van Hellsings mission.
Unsurprisingly, Velkan was most interested in Riley's capabilities and he seemed to think that Riley is either a Fairy , Elf or Angelic creature of some sort.
He did explain that he was guessing between those races since Riley's physical features just fit the standard. "Far Too clean , unnaturally perfect , free of any blemish-" was what he said
By the time they reached the castle again , Riley was making shapes out of Flame that he used ambient magic to fuel by starting a spark with his magic.
Velkan seemed to like it and was mesmerized by the sight , unfortunately though , not everyone was a fan and Van Hellsing had a talk with Riley about dangerous things he shouldn't do.
Velkan made it back though , so that was a win. It also allowed them to make a new plan by getting the information of Dracula's current hideout from Velkan who had been completely freed of Dracula's influence after the conqueror Haki suppression.
The first appearance of Dracula was now approaching so it was time for some higher grade rewards from signing in to the antagonist himself.
