Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Chapter 4: First Action

Morning light filtered softly through the tall windows of the mansion's living room.

Everything looked peaceful.

Too peaceful.

Yura sat lazily on the sofa, one arm resting along the backrest, his eyes half-lidded—as if nothing in the world could truly disturb him.

Across from him stood Yuri.

Nearby, Ursula leaned against a pillar, arms crossed, watching him closely.

"I'll be leaving the kingdom for a while," Yura said casually.

Yuri's eyes widened.

"Leaving? For what?"

"Just some work," he replied. "I'll be back soon."

Ursula's gaze sharpened instantly.

"At a time like this?" she said coldly.

"The Dragon God is about to regain his full power… and you're leaving without an explanation?"

Yura shrugged.

"It's related to the Dragon God."

Silence followed.

Yuri lowered her gaze.

"You're not going to tell us, are you…?" she asked quietly.

"At least… promise you'll come back safely."

Yura smiled faintly.

"I will tell you," he said.

"When I return."

A brief pause.

"Think of it as… a surprise."

Yuri blinked.

"A surprise…?"

"Something like that."

Ursula exhaled slowly.

"Do whatever you want," she muttered.

"Just make sure you come back. Quickly."

Yuri nodded.

"Please… be careful."

"Yeah."

Yura stood, stretching lightly.

And in the next instant—

He vanished.

No sound.

No trace.

Only a faint distortion lingering in the air.

Not long after—

Footsteps echoed through the hall.

Zack entered hurriedly.

"A messenger has arrived," he said.

"From the Flower Demon Kingdom."

Yuri straightened.

"I see."

Moments later—

They stepped into the floating garden, where a messenger stood waiting respectfully.

"Lady Yuri," he said, bowing.

"Where is Lord Yura?"

"He's not here at the moment."

The messenger hesitated.

"Did Lady Hyuri summon him for another meeting?"

Yuri frowned.

"They met just yesterday."

"Even so," the messenger continued,

"Lady Hyuri requests your presence."

A brief silence passed.

Then—

"Alright," Yuri replied.

"I'll accompany you," Zack said immediately.

"So will I," another voice added.

Riyu approached, already prepared.

"They're my bodyguards," Yuri explained.

"They'll be coming with me."

The messenger nodded.

Before they could leave—

"I'm coming too."

Ursula stepped forward.

The next instant—

Space twisted.

And they disappeared.

A Fractured Dimension

Far beyond the known world—

In a broken dimension where reality itself was cracked and bleeding—

A lone figure stood.

Power pulsed through the void.

Then—

The Dragon God opened his eyes.

"The time has come," he said calmly.

"My power is nearly restored."

A pause.

"Enough… to summon them."

Crimson light erupted.

Two figures emerged from within it—kneeling instantly.

"My Lord," Rox said, bowing his head.

"It has been nine hundred years."

"Yes, My Lord," Rex added.

The Dragon God looked down at them.

Cold.

Unmoved.

"My loyal servants…"

His voice echoed through the fractured space.

"The world has forgotten me."

A faint smile formed.

"Go."

"Remind both demons… and humans… who I am."

Rox and Rex lifted their heads.

"Will you not join us, Master?"

"I will," he replied.

A pause.

"But not yet."

"My power is incomplete."

Rex hesitated.

"Even now, you could destroy them with only a fraction of your strength."

The Dragon God's gaze darkened.

"There are those who sealed me nine hundred years ago."

Silence.

"Three survived."

His voice lowered.

"And their blood still flows through this world."

A beat.

"They may interfere."

The space trembled.

"That is why…"

His eyes glowed.

"I will move only when I am whole."

Rox and Rex bowed deeply.

And vanished.

The Meeting Hall

Yuri arrived soon after.

She took her seat, while Riyu and Zack stood on either side of her.

Hyuri looked at her sharply.

"You came alone," she said.

"Where is Yura?"

"He left the kingdom," Yuri replied.

Hyuri's expression darkened.

"Now? At a time like this?"

"He didn't tell me where he went."

For a moment—

Doubt crossed Hyuri's face.

"Do you think…" she said slowly,

"he's trying to avoid the war?"

Yuri stood instantly.

"That's enough."

Her voice was sharp.

"You know Yura. He would never abandon us."

Riyu stepped forward.

"Please refrain from speaking ill of Lord Yura."

Zack bowed slightly.

"We apologize if our tone was disrespectful."

Hyuri exhaled.

Shaken.

"No… I'm the one who should apologize."

A pause.

"Yura is my friend."

Her voice softened.

"I shouldn't have said that."

Then—

The air changed.

A presence descended.

Heavy.

Violent.

Without warning—

A figure appeared at the center of the hall.

Rex.

He smiled casually.

"So this is where I ended up…"

He glanced around.

"Random teleportation, huh?"

A pause.

Then his smile widened.

"No matter."

His eyes turned cold.

"I'll start the slaughter here."

Elsewhere

High above another kingdom—

Clouds split apart.

Rox hovered in the sky, staring down at the city below.

"Hah…"

A cruel smirk formed.

"They're living so peacefully… after sealing my master."

Crimson energy gathered in his palm.

Growing.

Expanding.

Becoming a massive sphere of destruction.

Below—

People noticed.

Too late.

The sphere fell.

And then—

Impact.

Light swallowed everything.

Sound vanished.

The world disappeared.

When it ended—

Nothing remained.

No buildings.

No people.

No kingdom.

Only empty land.

As if it had never existed.
