By the time the glass doors of Empire Real Estate shut behind them, Julian's pride had completely shattered, beyond repair. So much so that even the ride back to his personal villa felt really suffocating.
Not a single peep was heard throughout the entire ride.
Julian just sat still in the back seat with one hand still clutching his sore throat, and a pale face slowly darkening with humiliation. Just thinking about what had happened earlier made his chest burn with rage.
Right this moment, he wanted to punch something, he wanted to scream to get this awful feeling away. And what made everything even worse was that the person responsible for it was a peasant he had seen as nothing more than trash!
The moment the car finally pulled into the private underground garage of his residence, he didn't wait for the driver to open the door, like he would normally do. Instead he just kicked the door open and stormed out.
