-New York, USA-
A homeless man was rummaging through trash as he looks for food. It had been three days since he had last ate something that could remove the pain in his stomach. Finally, he rejoices as he sees a box of leftover chicken from a nearby fast food restaurant.
He was about to start devouring it when something hit his head. This got him distracted as the tingling pain made him scratch his own head. He sees the thing as a coin and immediately grabs it and stuffs it into his torn briefs.
"What a luck!" The man said as he starts chomping down on his delicious food. He stops as he felt the ecstasy of eating good food.
"How I wish to eat shit like this forever! If I have money, I'd buy this again and again." The man said to himself.
…
After taking a nap for a while, Julian wakes up and immediately gets ready to go to school. Minutes later, he was all ready to go and about to leave when something whispers on his ears.
This made Julian look around as he was confused. Just after stopping, he disregards it and was about to leave once again, but when he was about to grab the doorknob, he hears the whisper once again. This time, it was louder.
Something crossed his mind, but as an avid non-believer, he forcibly disregarded it. But the human mind is very creative. Goosebumps start to trail over his arms as he slowly reaches for the doorknob.
Just when he finally touches it, a piercing pain attacks his mind.
"ARGH!" This pain made him grab his hair tightly and kneel on the floor. Before, the voices were very incomprehensible. But now, he can form what they were saying.
[FOOOD!!! MONEY!!!! IT'S PAINFUL!!!]
As if the voices were right by his ear, it was so loud for him that he physically can't focus on anything. With the voice trying to take over his mind, he wasn't able to fight back anymore and Julian starts to lose his consciousness. His body leans forward as it slams on the floor, just by the locked doorknob.
When he finally regains consciousness, he wakes up in a familiar white place, standing in a familiar well. He was back in Nirvana.
"What happened to me? Why am I here again? Didn't I pass out earlier?" Julian said to himself as he walks closer to the well. There, he notices many differences. There was a brown notebook on the wall of the well, and additionally, the well was now somewhat lit up.
"What is this?" He asks as he picks the old notebook up. The notebook was titled 'Guide of Nirvana' and it was written by someone named Aeon.
He immediately opens it and was greeted by a lot of written text. At first, it was written in a language that he didn't know. Then, as if magic, the text starts to bend and rearrange into English.
[If you are reading this, then it would be because you're the new Gatekeeper of Nirvana. I am Aeon, the author of this book, and the past Gatekeeper of Nirvana. I have written this book to help you navigate and figure things out faster.
First of all, all of this is real. You may try to pinch yourself to see if you're dreaming or not, but in the World of Nirvana, no one can get hurt.]
As Julian reads this, he tries to pinch himself and indeed, he cannot feel the pain. He can feel his skin getting pinch but the feeling was numb. He went back to read the diary.
[So yes. This is the world of Nirvana and it has the powers to grant someone's wishes. It depends on their wish token. You have the ability to distribute these wish tokens but only the Fleeting to Minor Magnitude-Wishes and Random to Bronze Type-Wishes.
Every wish has two parts: the Wish Magnitude, or how much it affects them. This is divided into 4 from Fleeting, Minor, Moderate, and Major. Then comes it the Wish Type which are Random, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. They're for you to find out.]
This one was quite familiar for him as it was an information already given to him. But with Aeon's more personal explanations, he was able to understand it more.
[If you have started to hear whispers, then don't panic. It was just the wish of someone who has a Wish Token. It was their deepest desire. If you're curious as to how you will grant their wishes, just ring the bell and your equipment will be given to you. Then, just jump on the well sending you to their part of the world.
And if you're still not convinced. If you have acquired something from the last 5 Tokens that I left, try manifesting it in reality, it was all real and all yours, just imagine it. And if you want to exit Nirvana, just close your eyes and imagine the place where you were before.]
Finally reaching the end of the first page, Julian proceeded to look for the next one but it was all blank.
"It's either there's only one page written or it would only appear later on, with the latter being the most viable one. Anyway, lemme see if this is really true. If it is… then…" He stops to think for a minute before finally closing his eyes.
He imagines his dorm room just beside the door, as he slowly opens his eyes. He flinched and almost took a step back, but he composed himself.
"WHAT THE-!" He staggers as he tries to control himself, with goosebumps all around his body. He puts his hand forward as he imagines the 200 stacks of cash appearing on his floor.
Lo and behold, just when he was about to swipe the sweat on his forehead, the stacks of cash appear on the cold floor, just lying there simply.
"Am I still dreaming?" Just when he questions it, the familiar whisper enters his ears once again. But this time, there was no more pain on his head. Still, it was uncomfortable, and this made him clutch his head.
