Chapter 66 - Chapter 66: The Birth of Thunder and Truth

"No need for probing, Welt Yang, the Sovereign of Anti-Entropy."

Kiana watched Welt, her arms crossed and eyes slightly narrowed.

Not intending to waste time arguing, Kiana immediately exposed his identity.

Welt felt like those eyes could see right through him, perhaps even peering into his deepest secrets!

"Since I've been exposed, further denial is pointless."

Welt shook his head helplessly, then looked sharply at Kiana, a deep purple sphere—the Divine Key, Star of Eden—condensing in his hand.

"Is your self-identity intact?"

Welt's eyes were deep and serious, looking as if he was prepared to fight desperately if Kiana showed any signs of abnormality.

Although the current ceiling on Honkai energy capacity on Earth was restricted, he still wasn't backing down.

Kiana stared blankly at Welt for a moment, then her expression shifted. She pointed at Welt, turned to look at Theresa, and struggled to stifle her laughter.

"Auntie, Teacher Welt doesn't seem very smart. Is he really the Sovereign of Anti-Entropy?"

"Huh... what? The Sovereign of Anti-Entropy!?"

Theresa, who had been stunned by Welt's identity, snapped back to reality because of Kiana's words and stared wide-eyed at Welt.

How—how had he managed to be a teacher right under her nose for so long!?

Because Kiana had exposed Welt's identity...

Theresa suddenly felt like some memories were resurfacing in her mind.

During the Second Eruption, she and Welt had indeed met!

But why had she forgotten afterwards?

Theresa had no idea that Otto had tampered with her memories, which was why Welt had been able to operate undercover right under her nose for such a long time.

Otto actually knew Welt was undercover here, but simply felt there was no need to interfere.

"Oh right, Auntie, your memories were sealed by the Feather of Transient Life."

Kiana only just recalled this detail; Otto had sealed some of Theresa's memories for convenience.

"???"

"Auntie, I'll help you unseal them, but..."

I hope you can still recognize me, your niece, after you remember everything... Kiana didn't say much more, instead using the Authority of Consciousness to erase the chained memories locked within Theresa's mind.

In an instant, Theresa felt a flood of memories rush into her mind, making her momentarily dizzy.

"This... so that's how it was..."

After processing the memories, Theresa looked at the evasive Kiana with complex emotions.

It turned out her true niece had been killed in the plane crash back then... and Cecilia's death was so heavily connected to Grandpa... Theresa turned her gaze toward the 'unconscious' Otto, placing her hand on the small cross hanging on her chest.

Theresa's fingertips turned white as she gripped the cross, but she eventually released it powerlessly. She then looked at Kiana, filled with apology.

Because these were all the terrible things her grandfather had done... "Kiana... you've worked hard all these years."

"It wasn't hard, and besides, aren't I doing quite well now?"

Hearing Theresa call her Kiana, Kiana immediately brightened up and replied with a cheerful smile.

Her auntie still acknowledged her; that was a relief.

However, a trace of sadness remained in Theresa's eyes, stemming from Cecilia's death and the niece lost in the crash.

Kiana noticed this, then looked at Bianka, who gave a slight nod in return.

"Auntie... Theresa, I am the 'Kiana' who was in that plane crash..."

Bianka had initially intended to say 'Auntie,' but it felt strange, so she changed tack and called her by name instead.

Hearing this, Theresa widened her eyes slightly, walked over to Bianka, and looked up at the somewhat familiar face.

"She has Cecilia's shadow... could you really be..."

Theresa murmured softly.

This face was somewhat similar to Kiana's, yet also resembled Cecilia, so she was beginning to believe Bianka's words were true.

"Yes, I had amnesia at the time, and then..."

Bianka briefly recounted her experiences over the past few years to Theresa.

"You've also worked hard all these years, Ki... Bianka..."

Theresa sighed deeply. At least, her niece was still alive.

Cecilia... Theresa subconsciously looked at Kiana's mysterious eyes.

Perhaps Kiana really would have that ability in the future... Theresa held onto a sliver of hope internally, but did not voice it to Kiana.

She didn't want to put psychological pressure on her.

"Ahem..."

Welt, who had been ignored for half the day, gave an awkward cough.

After observing for a while, he realized that Kiana was clearly a Human Herrscher, just like him and Joyce.

With this realization, he felt relieved.

At the very least, judging by the current situation, the threat of the Honkai was officially declared over on Earth.

"Oh right, I just remembered something very important, everyone!"

"What is it?"

Everyone looked at Kiana, utterly confused.

Kiana smiled mysteriously, then walked toward Mei and Bronya.

Under their puzzled, tilted gazes, she took their hands.

As the Honkai energy reactions on both of them grew stronger, Kiana isolated the space where they were from the outside world.

Mei and the Herrscher personality inside her appeared within the consciousness space, exchanging glances.

"Hmph, coward."

"..."

Mei opened her mouth but did not refute her.

The Herrscher personality was, ultimately, Mei herself; they were one person.

It was understandable for the dominant side to call the weaker side a coward.

"You're still like this. Kiana has become so powerful; it won't be easy to catch up to her."

The Queen of Thunder looked at Mei contemptuously, her arms crossed, and sneered.

"But, I still want to keep up with her pace and stay by her side forever."

This time, Mei did not remain silent, instead looking at the Queen of Thunder with firm resolve.

The Queen of Thunder was slightly startled by Mei's uncharacteristic assertiveness.

A moment later, the Queen of Thunder actually smiled, no longer displaying the look of disdain she usually held for Mei.

She seemed slightly gratified, but this attitude vanished quickly, replaced once more by her usual arrogance.

"In that case, I will temporarily lend you my power. Remember, if you ever give up on catching up, I will replace you."

The Queen of Thunder gave her a deep look, then embraced Mei before she could react.

Following this, the Queen of Thunder dissolved into particles of light and merged into Mei's consciousness.

With the fusion, Mei's demeanor underwent a change.

Her original Yamato Nadeshiko-like gentleness was now mixed with a hint of sharpness, and her gaze became slightly fierce.

Following this, the Herrscher Core inside her trembled repeatedly, coated in a layer of silver aura.

In the outside world, Mei's body was currently emitting countless purple electric arcs, and two demonic horns had grown on her head.

As Mei slowly opened her eyes, the Herrscher mark belonging to the Queen of Thunder manifested on her back.

At the same time, Bronya was also undergoing a transformation.

She now sported a spiral ponytail hairstyle, with the inner layers of her hair featuring a starry gradient color.

Her overall attire was a simple blue dress, and her hands and legs were covered in blue and white high-tech armor.

In her free hand, she held a spear named Vector Analysis.

Furthermore, Kiana's divine aura was wrapped around Bronya's Herrscher Core.

At this moment, Welt looked at the familiar fluctuations emanating from Bronya and fell into deep thought.

Stealing my Authority right in front of me?

And it looks even better than mine!?
