"By the way," Penelope said, "I think your voice popped into my head when I was leaving Earth. How did you do that? Did you use this same kind of...magic power?"
Elanore nodded. With a flick of her wrist she produced a mana core in her hands from her inventory. "There are many things I can do now. Though, I am wondering about your desire to be a bunny girl." She took a bite of the mana crystal in her hands as if it wasn't a big deal and slurped down the contents. "Hmm...these scorpions seem to have a spicy flavor."
Mother stared at the fading crystal in her daughter's hand. "What is that thing? Does it really taste good?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I am also a vampire." She pointed to the teeth in her mouth. "Only, I don't drink blood. These mana orbs are what I consume. Pretty cool, right?"
Penelope's eyes widened when she saw the sharp canines. She shook her head and released a small breath. "I can't believe it. My daughter became a vampire witch of all things."
Elanore chuckled before grabbing onto her mother's shoulders. "Sit still for a second, and tell me if this bothers you. I am going to read your status."
"My status?"
"Yes, didn't you used to play tabletop role playing games? I will be able to see some of your stats."
"Okay..." Penelope closed her eyes and waited.

"Well?" Penelope asked after a few seconds.
"I am sorry to say mom, but you are level one with only an accounting skill. In fact, everything is pretty low, so I am worried about taking you out of this place." Elanore looked her mother up and down, noting that she was several inches taller. "I suppose I don't have any outfits that would fit you either."
Penelope smiled and patted Elanore's head. "You don't have to worry about it. I am glad to see my accounting major transferred over here."
"Don't worry, mom. I will protect you with everything I have. Now that I chugged down some juice, I feel like my mana has all returned back to me. We are going to power level you and make you the bunny you always wanted to be."
"Power level?"
"Yep, I think you will get experience if we kill monsters with you around. All I have to do is cast strong barriers on you...I am starting to get excited. Since you are human, I will have to make things for you until we find out how to make you a bunny."
"Wait, Ella, I wasn't serious about being a bunny. You don't need to do that."
"But would you like being a bunny?"
Penelope looked towards the wall cutely. "I would."
"Then, there is no problem!" Elanore grabbed onto Penelope's hand, and then she walked to the center of the room where there was a stone tablet. "First, let me grab this."
She looked over the few words written on the stone tablet. "Untold power, untold riches, inevitably forsook, the recipe for desecration."
"You can read that?"
Ella smiled wryly. "I guess it's one of the perks of having a high level character."
The witchpire stored the tablet away in her inventory, and the two of them walked up a flight of stairs. When they reached the top, the hot sun blazed over the surroundings. They were no longer anywhere near the dunes they'd originally teleported from. The two of them walked out of a small sand structure against a wall housing the internal temple, and they were greeted with dry, cracked land.
They were inside a ridge line, and all around them were steep cliff faces. Elanore spotted her other two companions sitting on a brown rock.
Naela gathered to her feet and carefully lifted the over 800 year old child to her feet. The not-dragon smiled at the two of them. "Did you give Elanore a proper scolding."
"Hey!"
Penelope shook her head and chuckled. "No, I was just happy to finally see my daughter again. By the way...it is really hot here."
Ella looked at her mother's face, observing sweat dripping down her forehead. She lifted Manapie into the air, carefully thinking of spells for her mother. Pink mist funneled up her staff. "[Divine Protection From The Elements], [Divine Magic Barrier], [Divine Physical Barrier], [Divine Protection From Death], [Divine Witch Magic – Blessing of the Void Serpant]..."
"That's enough, I don't need that much...." Penelope started, but it was already too late.
The pink mist rushed forwards, infused with a small amount of purple. It rushed into Penelope's body, and then the changes started happening. Her skin started becoming smoother, the wrinkles fading away. Her shoulder-length black and grey hair changed to a vibrant pink. Her eyes shifted to the same pink as Naela's, only there was a small difference. The pupil changed to purple. Warm pink magic glowed around her body for some time before settling down.
Naela grumbled and grabbed onto Elanore's ear. "You really overdid it this time..."
Penelopes eyes widened. "What the heck is this? I can see really great. I feel...amazing." The mother jumped into the air, bouncing with energy. "I haven't felt this good in years! Actually...I don't know if I've ever felt this good..."
Elanore gave Naela a smug smile. "Did I really overdo it? Can you say that while looking at that happy smile?"
Naela clicked her tongue and released the vampire's ear. She gave a small sigh in response before crossing her arms. "You really need to be more careful. What would have happened if her body rejected the changes?"
"I...Well...Um..."
The not-dragon sighed again. "This is why I told her to scold you. Mistress, sometimes you are far too impulsive. You should at least check her status again to observe the damages."
Elanore nodded, narrowing her purple eyes towards her mother. [Inspect].
