The door opened and the family saw a group of monks wearing dark brown robes tied with thick ropes.
Their faces were hidden under the shadows of their hoods. In their hands they carried prayer beads.
The moment they appeared they all chanted at the same time, they voice echoed in harmony.
The family couldn't tell if they were speaking Latin or another language but Danny had learnt Latin.
He knew this was not Latin but he couldn't identify which language it was. As soon the monks chanted, the demon retreated with a scream.
The monks came in and didn't say a single word to the family. Before Danny could say anything somebody followed behind the monks.
It was a priest of the church, unlike the monks he wasn't bound by the oath of silence.
He greeted the family and explained why they were there. Apparently a week ago then had received word of a demon lurking in this house.
