Lizzy giggled, "Do you promise?" Her body lit up at the thought of Vaelis taking care of her. She questioned her sanity because at this point, she should be too exhausted to think about matters that involved a mattress. She was, however, thinking it was the perfect way to unwind and get some energy back for her next round of planting.
Her unicorn shifter mate dipped his head, a smile crossing his face. "Of course. You are carrying our child." Vaelis settled her onto the bed, his hands gentle as they caressed her body and began to strip off her armor. "I know that I am not the most gentle of mates. Phantom does a much better job of seeing to your unspoken needs. But, I promise that I am trying to get better at such things. It can be hard for me."
