Three of her Pokémon were now on the verge of reaching Gym tier. Even her seemingly hopeless Magikarp had climbed to Level 16.
Lapras had officially broken into Gym tier.
As for triggering Magikarp's evolution…

Its coiled body radiated apocalyptic power, so lifelike it seemed ready to leap off the page.

The two Pokémon drew beautifully.
