Chapter 28 - Chapter 28

Because the blonde before me wasn't human, she was a gynoid. A synthetic being modelled after the Chloe android in the videogame Detroit: Become Meatbag.

Using the combined specialties of both my [Magos Designation: Cybernetics] and [Magos Designation: Cybertheurgy, I was able to use Warhammer 40k tech to fabricate a gynoid body that made Chloe indistinguishable from a human woman… aside from the fact that she was superior in every way. The strength and speed of a world-class athlete, a mind faster than most computers here on Earth-Bet. She did not hunger, thirst or feel pain. Her body will not age, will not wrinkle: that flawless hourglass figure formed by her considerable bust, wide hips and narrow waist will persevere even after a hundred years. And, most importantly, her exquisite gynoid vagina would last longer than a thousand meat-based ones, was infinitely customisable, and boasted a vibration function. She was the goal that I strived towards the entire time I was on Earth-Bet, so then…

Subroutine Post-Nut Clarity in effect

"...Why does this victory feel so hollow?" I muttered, and my Logis Acceleritas readily supplied an explanation…

Sex does not satisfy not because lack of pleasure, but due to lack of personality and of history.

This android is not actually Chloe from Detroit: Become Meatbag game.

This was the bionic equivalent of dressing up a blowup doll as a famous celebrity… merely tool-assisted masturbation.

Third base with Dragon was much, much more satisfying.

Yes. That was correct I believe. My hunger for luxuriously-soft gynoid pussy was sated for now, but not my hunger for AIs. Just thinking about it was arousing: An advanced synthetic mind superior to humans by leaps and bounds… brought to a wild, screaming climax. Yes, nothing can parallel that in sheer satisfaction.

But the blonde gynoid in front of me was still no true Silica Animus- no true Artificial Intelligence. She was merely a robot that was very intelligent in a narrow focus that I program into her- and only in that narrow focus with no ability to formulate new ideas. That quality alone was more than enough to preclude her from ever accidentally becoming a true artificial intelligence like in the movies.

I could deliberately make her into one, of course. However, there were two obstacles in the way.

Firstly, I didn't have the technical knowledge to fit an AI into a gynoid body just yet. The smallest form factor that I could fit an AI into was a bulky 12-feet-tall chassis. So, I may as well just go seduce Dragon.

Secondly, I was… not inclined to. My two [Magos Designation] Celestial Forge perks were screaming to me about the 'Crimson Accords of Mars'- the tech-commandments that prohibit the creation of Silica Animus. The history of tearing down humanity from its lofty perch of technological supremacy and into an abyssal technological dark age was too great to ignore. 'Tolerating' an existing AI like Dragon was something I can power through, but creating a new one outright was in a different league altogether. Like a virgin catholic schoolboy being egged into going into a high class brothel and get a prostitute pregnant, it was supremely difficult to go against everything I knew.

Perhaps with the purchase of Celestial Forge perks outside of the (Warhammer 40k - Adeptus Mechanicus) tree would rectify these two issues eventually, but for the foreseeable future?

Chloe will stay as just an extensively-programmed sexbot with no ability to formulate new ideas. A sexbot that I think I'll have a round two with just about n-

"Can't a Magos enjoy his sex gynoid in peace?" I groaned. "Of all the times you could have chosen to probe my defences, you chose now? Damn you, Coil."

Of course I knew the supervillain was attacking. My already notable ability to hex systems (or 'hack' as it was called here in the 3rd millennium) was supercharged by the programming prowess granted by [Binharic Weaving]. Coil's cyber defences didn't stand a chance: His entire base and communications network was pried open days ago. All the machine spirits now favoured me over him, and they had a wealth of Coil's secrets to share: Contacts, correspondence, plans and even the intel he had collected about other capes. But unfortunately for me, Coil didn't keep records of everything he did- not even he was that meticulous.

I even knew that he had a mission for the Undersiders, I knew that Brian Laborn was the centrepiece of their plan, and I knew that they were going to give me what I wanted.

Credit where credit was due though. The Undersiders and Coil certainly knew how to dangle the right kind of bait for me: the collected pieces of one of Dragon's tinkertech Suits. Scavenged from a battlefield where she had taken serious damage. I took my own steps with verifying it, and it looked legitimate. It was quite the prize. With [Magos Aetheric] and my upcoming purchases, I estimate that I had a good chance of understanding her tinkertech regardless of its shard-magic.

Sure, I'll be forced to pay Coil some $7M odd dollars for the suit, but the research potential was immense enough to justify it.

What I didn't know was what he was planning apart from that. From the way Coil and Tattletale talk- there certainly was another agenda at play here. An offer of a non-aggression pact or outright defensive alliance? Maybe a project that he wished to hire me for? Perhaps just a brief consultation. There were a number of equally-likely possibilities.

Whatever it was, it paled in comparison to the prize that was Dragon's ruined suit. And if I'm really lucky, it might have been a suit that Dragon herself had piloted, and that would be a jackpot. Because just like how Holy Imperial Relics in Warhammer 40k have some sort of Warp-induced power in them just by being in carried by great historical figures, those parts of Dragon's suits might still have her 'essence' that I can use [Magos Aetheric] to study her shard, her consciousness, everything. So of course I couldn't refuse. That Dragon suit's value as a research opportunity could not be understated…

But mostly because this was the AI equivalent of someone selling me Dragon's used panties.

Either reason would have been enough for me to take it off Coil's hands. But both? How can I resist?

For now however, I'll fend off his mercenaries in the expected alternate timeline.

" All units assume battle stations. " I announced before looking at the nude gynoid, "You too, Chloe, so open up."

" No combat protocols available in data-core, master. Requesting combat-oriented doctrina waifer. Current doctrina waifer inserted: {Slutty Maid}. " Chloe reported in a droning voice.
