"How is his condition?"
Ever since Captain America was dug out, Nick had come to take a look every other day. If they didn't know he was already married and had a child, everyone would have thought he was attracted by Captain America's'stunning looks' and wanted to see his 'lover' all day. Here Nick was again, asking Natasha, who was in charge of Captain America. As for Phil, that 'Captain America superfan', he was afraid Phil might faint from excitement, in which case he would have to give him time off.
How could he then squeeze more labor... ahem! He didn't mean that. He meant he cared about his subordinates' physical and mental health, nothing else. Really, he swore it by his remaining eye.
"His physical state has returned to normal. It's estimated that it will take another month to wake up normally, maybe half a month; it all depends on him."
Natasha told Nick what the medical staff had told her. Recently, she had been considering retirement. She was already decades old; no matter how young she looked, she should think about the future. "I Hope he doesn't get too agitated when he wakes up."
Nick could see Natasha's slacking, but what could he say? There were only a few people he could trust now. If another one left, it would be even more troublesome. He was now anxious for Captain America to wake up quickly, get used to the current world, and help him get the Avengers off the ground. He believed that with Captain America's personal charisma, he should be able to lead these 'problem children'.
"Natasha, is Agent May back?"
Nick, who had been very busy these past two days, thought of another excellent female Special Agent. After a look signaled the situation, Nick understood. The two walked into the office and turned on full soundproofing.
"Agent May reports that they have completely lost track of Hulk. The other party seems to have used technology we don't know about; the radioactive gamma rays can no longer be detected at all."
Hearing this report, Nick frowned. This wasn't good news; he hated this kind of situation where things were out of control.
"Her specific location now?"
Troubles were coming one after another. Now he felt like his whole head was getting bigger.
"She's on her way back."
Natasha also knew what was going on. She was responsible for contacting Agent May. If Special Agent Hill hadn't also been sent out on a mission, she wouldn't be staying in the bureau now. If she had time, she definitely had to have a good talk with that Stark princess to see if she could fix her regrets.
"Have her report to me when she gets back."
"Okay."

Rubbing his dark head, he missed the time when Captain Marvel was still around. That god-tier assistant was simply too great. Now he had to shoulder all the supernatural forces himself.
"If Professor X could agree to use his influence, it wouldn't be this troublesome now."
Thinking of Professor X, who was also bald, Nick felt weary. Those Mutants weren't exactly lacking in the ability to cause trouble, but fortunately, they had a powerful guy backing them up. If he could use Professor X's X-Men, he wouldn't be in this situation of having no one available. While Nick Fury Nick was worrying, New York began to stir again.
"You're Dr. Connors, right! Why did you become like this?"
Little Spider finally discovered the identity of The Lizard Man—it was actually Dr. Connors, the very kind scholar who had given him his parents' belongings. Why would he become like this?
"You're Peter... leave quickly, Peter. I can't suppress 'it' much longer."
The Lizard Doctor Connors said with a pained expression. After being injected with the serum, he was no longer himself. Another dark personality had occupied his brain, using his knowledge to create a large amount of Lizard Virus. He wanted to become the king of The Lizards. The plan was too crazy, but he had no way to stop it. The frenzied dark side had defeated him once again.
