"Spirit Gear Manifestation."
Finally unable to sleep, Artoria opened her closed eyes. magic surged through her body, and silver armor instantly covered her whole body. She flew directly from the bed, crashing a large hole through the roof into the sky. Dragon Eyes instantly replaced Artoria's Holy Green eyes. Artoria looked toward the place that made her uneasy. Under the powerful vision and dynamic capture of the Dragon Eyes, Artoria could clearly see three huge missiles with Tails of fire flying rapidly toward her direction, their speed completely exceeding Mach 2.
"What's going on?"
Most of the people here were battle-hardened warriors, and they were quickly alerted by the commotion Artoria had caused. Some peered through the windows, while others had already donned their combat gear, ready for a fight. Natasha and Barton, the two veteran Special Agents, had already put on their tactical suits and were running toward Artoria's house. Tony, concerned for his sister, had also donned his Nano-metal battle suit and was flying toward her house. The women were the fastest; Helen Cho and Maya ran out before they had even finished dressing.
"Artoria... Artoria, what happened?"
Several women burst through the door and walked inside. Seeing the debris scattered across the floor, they anxiously called out Artoria's name. Tony had already flown to the roof, but he didn't rush inside. Jarvis had already detected heat signatures directly above the room, as well as three massive heat signatures rapidly approaching from the air.
"Artoria is up there. There are suspected missiles flying toward us. Focus on evacuating the civilians."
The brilliant Tony immediately analyzed the situation. He spoke to Thor and the two S.H.I.E.L.D. Special Agents who had just arrived. The women below also heard what was happening. After saying this, Tony had Jarvis remotely pilot another suit he had brought along to take the worried Pepper away and evacuate her from the area. Then, Tony piloted his suit into the air, with Thor following close behind. This was no small matter. Natasha and Barton glanced at each other and hurried to evacuate the rest of the people.
"Let's go up and help too!"
Susan and Hope looked at each other and nodded. One put on her Wasp Suit and used its wings, while the other used her telekinesis to lift herself into the air. They both flew toward Artoria's position. Gwen and the others who remained were disappointed but could only help the others evacuate before retreating themselves. Artoria's intuition had been right; nothing good ever happened when this group gathered. The women's date plans were now completely ruined.
"There's still room to handle this. There are plenty of ways to deal with these things."
With her arms crossed over her chest, Artoria stood quietly in mid-air, her red cape fluttering in the atmospheric currents. She glanced at the two empty slots on the Infinity Gauntlet. The Reality Stone hadn't appeared yet; if it had, it would be so much fun to just turn these things into candy. That would make them literal'sugar-coated bullets.' Artoria had plenty of ways to deal with these toys! She didn't know which fool would use such inflexible weapons against this group. It was idiotic. So what if the power was great? It was useless if it couldn't hit anything, especially since she controlled the Space Stone.
"I'm here to help, sister."
Just as Artoria was preparing to use the Space Stone to divert the three missiles into outer space, her brother Tony arrived at her side. It seemed he also knew exactly what the situation was. In just five minutes, these three missiles would strike the island directly. Seeing her brother suddenly wanting to fight'side-by-side' with her, Artoria felt a bit of a headache. It wasn't that she was trying to show off, but this really was a minor matter that didn't require so many people; more people just made things more chaotic. Not only that, but when Artoria saw Thor fly up, her head hurt even more. And after seeing Susan and Hope, Artoria didn't even know what to say.
"Do you see those guys? Brother, they must be connected to this attack. You guys handle the trouble below, and I'll handle the trouble above."
Just as Artoria was having a headache and preparing to send them away, several high-tech submarines and small boats entered the range of her Dragon Eye. Furthermore, they were approaching with intense malice. With a quick thought, Artoria knew these sudden visitors were definitely involved in this. Without needing to think much further, she handed these guys over to Tony and the others.
"Stay safe, dear."
Tony loyally carried out the task assigned by his sister, and Thor quickly dove down as well. Susan flew to Artoria's side and gave her a light kiss on the cheek, like a wife telling her husband to be safe before he left the house. This scene left Hope stunned. Good heavens, she hadn't expected Susan to make a move like that behind her back.
"I will."
Startled by Susan's action, Artoria gave her a quiet look to show she understood. Before Artoria could even regain her composure, Hope's face suddenly enlarged in front of her. Artoria's attention had been on the three missiles, so she hadn't noticed their movements. Hope went even further, actually kissing Artoria on the lips.
"Protect yourself, and don't do anything stupid."
With a blushing face, Hope gave a pure kiss and then pulled away. There was no French kiss, so don't expect a tsundere to do something that ignores the gaze of others. Susan's expression darkened. 'Well played, Hope, actually daring to go that far! Since when did you have that kind of courage?' But now was not the time to dwell on it. Susan could only fly down indignantly, treating those unidentified attackers as sandbags to vent her anger on.
"Am I... being liked?"
Artoria watched Hope fly away, touching her cheek and lips. She could still smell the fragrance lingering from the two women. At this moment, Artoria truly realized that she might have accidentally started a harem. What should she do? If she ended up getting cleavered in the future, what then? When did this happen? How exactly did she conquer these two women? Why didn't she know anything about it? These three internal questions failed to solve Artoria's confusion.
"Disappear!"
Shaking her head, Artoria stopped thinking about other things. The missiles were now almost upon her. Artoria quietly watched the missiles, trailing fire like meteors as they flew toward her. With the hand wearing the Infinity Gauntlet, she lightly snapped her fingers. Three blue space portals instantly opened in front of the missiles. The three missiles vanished into thin air in an instant. This caught everyone off guard. The Hydra members below stared wide-eyed at their radar. How could such large missiles just vanish? What was going on? By Hydra, how could such an unscientific situation occur? The target hadn't been destroyed, there wasn't even a sound, yet the missiles had simply disappeared.
"Artoria, beautiful job."
Tony, who had already reached the Hydra forces, heard Jarvis's report, and the weight on his heart instantly lifted. He muttered to himself with relief. He knew his sister would find a way to handle it; after all, Artoria never did anything she wasn't sure of. He had still underestimated his sister, but as a brother, it was only right to always place his sister on the side that should be protected.
"I knew my dear wouldn't have any problems."
Susan, who had already begun her attack, also kept an eye on the situation in the sky. When the missiles were flying over earlier, her heart had begun to ache with worry, but now she was very relaxed. Since the matter was perfectly resolved, it was time to finish the task she had been assigned.
