Chapter 10 - *Crazy Driving,Zomdogs, Wrong yet Right Situation

Lucia asked, "Why to that place?"

She added, eyes sparkling with curiosity, "Don't tell me… even in this situation, you're thinking about those things."

Ren exhaled and said, "Hold your horses," letting out a small breath

phew.

"So why?" she asked again, leaning forward, curiosity shining in her eyes.

"You'll see," he replied. He thought for a moment, unsure what to say. You'll know once we arrive there.

He relaxed slightly, a relieved smile tugging at his lips. I can't tell her she's right about what she's thinking… I need to level up my skill first.

"Do you want to do something?" he asked.

Lucia tilted her head, thinking. "Let me see…" She paused, then smiled brightly. "Yes! I want to go to the ocean."

Ren murmured under his breath, "Ocean… ocean… um, ocean."

"Yeah, we can do that after I get done with my thigh," he said.

"Really?" she asked, eyes wide.

"Yeah," he replied simply, a hint of pride in his voice.

They both get outside.

---

Ren and Lucia were on the open roof car, speeding through the city.

Vroom

VRRROOOM

BRRRRRRR

"Aren't we lucky we found this car with the keys?" Ren said, eyes glinting with excitement.

Lucia's face turned pale. I hoped I would be excited, but now… I regret this, she thought, her face filled with fear.

"Hey… slow down a bit!" she shouted as the car careened wildly, crushing zombies along the way.

Ren laughed, gripping the wheel like it was an extension of himself. The car darted forward, skidding around a broken streetlight and jumping over debris.

VRRROOOM!

A zombie stumbled into the road. The car slammed into it.

CRUSH!

The body flew aside as the car slid sideways.

SKRRR!

Ren shouted, exhilarated, "This is fun! Absolutely chaotic fun!"

Lucia shrieked, clutching the edge of the roof. Why did I ever get in with him? He's insane!

Another zombie staggered into the path. Ren slammed into it.

SMASH!

The car flipped over a toppled trash bin.

THUMP!

Then spun around a corner, skidding across wet asphalt.

SCREEEECH!

Lucia's stomach lurched with every jump and skid, her hands gripping tight. Meanwhile, Ren's grin widened with each smashed zombie and overturned barricade.

CRASH-BANG!

This is the thrill of a lifetime, he thought, chaotic joy pumping through him.

---

Two hours of Ren's madman driving later, Lucia could barely breathe.

Ren slammed the car into a ruined wall. "This car… this car is trash!" he said, irritation written all over his face.

CRASH!

"I think it was someone else," she said hesitantly.

"What do you mean?" he asked, smiling casually.

"Whoever was driving this… it wasn't just a car, it was like a tank… no, a battlefield tank, destroying everything in its path," she yelled, anger flaring.

"Thanks for the compliment," Ren said, one hand on the back of his head, grinning.

"It wasn't a compliment, you lu—" she started, then let out a frustrated breath. "Forget it. Focus on finding a new way to travel."

They looked around.

The area resembled a slum, reeking of rot. Corpses of humans and zombies lay scattered, torn apart with bite marks and claw scratches.

"Where are we?" she asked.

"By the looks of it… a slum area," Ren replied coolly.

"I can see that too," she said.

"But can't you tell why the corpses—both human and zombie—are torn to pieces, with marks all over their bodies?" he asked with a calm face.

"Yes… do you know about it?" she asked, curiosity flickering in her eyes.

Ren thought for a moment, a proud smile forming. She's one of those curious types who wants to know everything.

"Isn't it proper to say please before asking for something?" he teased.

Placing a slightly irritated but eager face, she said, "Please… just tell me."

That's better, he thought, pride swelling.

"Fine then," he said. "By the look of the marks, this probably isn't the work of normal zombies. It's probably an animal."

"You mean a dog?" she asked.

"Closer, but not exactly," he replied with a faint smile.

"What does that mean?" she asked, tilting her head.

"You'll know soon enough, as always," he said calmly.

They walked along the road.

"We didn't find any vehicles we can use here," she said.

"We'll find one eventually," he replied.

Suddenly, a dog barked in the distance.

BARK!

They both froze.

"Did you hear that?" she whispered.

"That's your answer," Ren said.

"What are you talking about?" she asked.

From every corner, more dogs appeared.

BARK! BARK! BARK!

"Oh… it's just dogs," she said, relief momentary.

"Look properly," Ren said calmly.

She stared… and realized they were not just dogs. Patches of fur were missing, bones showing through rotting flesh, saliva dripping continuously, eyes white with red veins.

"They're… zombies!" she cried, panic rising.

"Correction," he said calmly. "Zombie dogs. They're responsible for the massacre here. This confirms the virus works on animals too—at least dogs."

The zombie dogs approached, growling.

GROWL!

BARK!

SNARL!

"What should we do?" she said, fear evident in her voice.

"Just chill a bit, will you," he said, expression flat.

"I don't wanna kill them, i don't like the idea of killing a animals"

"I can't believe you're showing humanity now!" she shouted, shaking him in panic, almost crying.

"First, listen. I said I'm a pet lover… but I only love one pet in my life. Dogs aren't part of that," he said.

The zombie dog lunged at Lucia back.

Ren swung his sword, slicing just in time.

"Did that dog just try to bite my ass? But… why?!" she exclaimed, panic and disbelief in her voice.

Ren grinned, teasing. "Maybe… he liked those delicious back buns."

"It's no time for jokes!" she snapped.

"But I am dead serious," he said, smirking.

Ren's sword flashed, severing the dog's head.

THUD!

Another jumped—

SLICE!

And another met the same fate.

CRASH!

BANG!

"There's no end to them!" she exclaimed.

"We have to run," he said.

"But we're surrounded!"

He smirked faintly. "Just stick close to me," he said, pulling her against his chest.

"What are you doing?" she asked, flustered.

"Just wait and see," he said.

"Use Flame Wall," he said with excited smile.

---

Activating: Flame Wall

---

A circle of fire erupted, surrounding them like a protective barrier.

WHOOSH!

"What is this?" she asked, wide-eyed.

"One of my skills," he said.

"How many skills do you have?"

"No time for chit-chat. We gotta run. It'll deactivate in three minutes."

He grabbed her hand.

As they ran, zombie dogs tried to bypass the wall, but the fire kept them at bay. Those who got close were met with his precise sword strikes, kicks, and agile maneuvers.

SLICE!

THWACK!

THUD!

"Oh shit… the skill's almost done! I have to do something! These zomdogs are still chasing us!" he muttered.

"What about… zomdogs?" she asked nervously.

"I just named them," he said with proud face. "They're dogs… and zombies. Zomdogs. Cool, right?"

He made a quick turn—

WHOOSH! VANISHED!

They disappeared, leaving the zomdogs searching in vain.

---

Inside a nearby old phone booth, they crouched close.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" she whispered.

"Of course. This is the best course of action. The booth is old, dusty, and reflective. They can't find us… and my skill ended too," he replied softly.

She blushed, flustered. "Not about that…"

"What is it then?" he asked.

"This place is too cramped for two people," she said.

They pressed tightly against each other.

Ren thought, Her big boobs are rubbing against my chest.

Her breasts pressed and moved against him.

If this continues, he breathed internally, I won't be able to hold back.

A loud bark came from outside.

BARK!

They froze, worry etched across their faces.

Oh shit—

His big dick was already hardening and throbbing, thick and big, pressing against the cradle of her hips, just inches from where he ached to be.

Lucia voice was a soft murmur against him. "What's is this... pressing against me?"

He couldn't speak. He could only pulse harder against between her thighs just a little below her vergina.
