INSIDE SELENE'S OFFICE.
The air is thickening second by second in the office. The magical powder came from the Unezugawa District, which was Haru's hometown, where he met the Crimson Devil.
Haru is lost in thoughts about
"What might have happened in Unezugawa, I was there from my birth, and there is nothing of a power I've know of".
Selene checks Haru's face while holding the powder in her inner hands.
Selene does not know what to speak but she tell a very interesting thing
"Hey Haru, why don't we just go to your hometown now itself".
Haru turns his head the other way pretending not to hear it, but with him knowingly his eyes flood with tears.
Selene suddenly comes infront of him
"You crying like a child" she asks.
Haru shakes his head in disagreement, while Selene knew it
"I know you would decline of it, who would want to return to the place where your parents died".
Haru is shocked hearing this, it was like Selene read the words deep inside his heart.
Haru looks straight at Selene
"When do you plan to go Sensei".
Selene takes a step back and sits back at her chair
"Today itself, there is no better day than today haru".
Haru remembers that he told he will practice with his friends
"I can't today Sensei,I want to practice for the upcoming Tokyo Games".
Selene turns off her computer
"Do you think it will be better if go anytime later".
Haru don't have an answer to that, he just doesn't not open his mouth after that.
Selene stands up from her chair, then she takes a bag that has all the necessary items needed.
"Come one Haru, let's move out now and we will be back before evening. It's not noon yet, but if we delay we will be late coming back" Selene opens the door and moves out.
Haru starts to walk behind her as well, both going in the same path.
They did not speak anything while moving until Selene moves her lips
"You don't need anything, I have everything we need. And Haru don't bring anyone, it will be add another amount of risk for us".
Haru remains silent, and so Selene gets his answer as yes.
THE BOTH GET OUTSIDE THE EXORCISTS HQ...
Selene gets a car which was hidden inside the wall.
Haru's mouth wide open after seeing that
"Where does this car came from".
Selene puts her hand inside the wall, it goes through it
"Don't you get it, this wall is just an illusion. An illusion made by Trian and other higher ups. You don't know where their are more of this".
They both get inside the car
"Hold on okay, we want to reach fast so I will be driving very heavily.
Vroom! Vroom! The car starts.
Aaaahhhh! Haru screams due to fear of Selene's driving.
They didn't realised someone was watching them from above the HQ.
"So were are you taking him now Selene. Give that kid a break" Unknown.
He watches them as the car goes straight down the road and disappears infront of him.
SOMETIME LATER AT THE UNEZUGAWA DISTRICT, HARU AND SELENE HAVE REACHED...
Selene drives through the city while Haru is looking outside to see that the city is now in ruins. The place where there was a huge building or corporation has now fallen as only peices of it remains, Haru sees a fallen white marble building which used to be a hospital where his grandpa took his last breath while he was sleeping beside him at night when he was tensed years of age and the roadways towards his home has been completely broken with grass now making the concrete roads disappearing.
Haru looks at Selene to get an answer of where they are actually heading towards in his hometown.
"Don't stare at me, you will find out where I got this from and where we are going towards now. And one last thing Haru, don't be surprised when you see the place I got this from" Selene finally gives an answer, which was not exactly Haru expected and not an exact answer.
The quietness continues as Selene drives through the broken roads of the district.
Haru continues his look out of the mirror towards the city.
He suddenly looks at some passing by buildings and an electric flash circuits his brain. It's the apartment where he lived with his parents.
The memories of his with them flashes through his brain, but somepart of it was missing, his parents voice he can't remember them, his mother's face and his father's face he couldn't remember it even though he tried to.
Haru holds both of his hands above his head "Sensei, I don't want to be here, I can't remember anything about them Sensei".
Selene slowly touches his head
"Face it head on Haru, how long do you plan on running away from those memories".
Haru coves his face using his hands.
Break! The car stops.
Haru manages to put himself in one peice
"Aren't we there yet Sensei, it's about to be noon soon".
Selene stares out through the front mirror
"This is the place Haru, the place where I found that powder like substance".
Haru moves his hand from his face and looks outside.
His heartbeat starts raising, he starts to panicking. He didn't even dream on returning here. This the place, where his parents took their last breath.
Selene gets out of the car
"Just some more distance on foot and we will reach that place where I found that powder like substance".
Selene starts to walk while Haru was not opening the door of the car and was shaking in fear, reminding of that stormy night where he lost all of his precious things.
Selene walks up towards him, she pulls open the door
"How long are you planning on staying here, don't you want to move on".
Haru doesn't dare to open his mouth not because he is scared of Selene but memories of that night haunts him.
Selene touches Haru's head
"Don't you have any new thing, like new people that are now previous to you".
The words touch Haru like a bullet. He remebers the new ones he found after that night, whom does he want to protect and fight for. Yamado and Shimi, Adryn Sensei, Toxin and Riya, Philomina Sensei who helped him while he thought he lost his friends, Trian who trusted and gave him a place to stay at the Exorcists Tokyo dpt HQ and Selene who always found a way to rescue him. Haru wants to save them all and for that he decided to leave his parents memories behind.
"I don't care anymore, if I've forgotten about their faces and voice I don't want to try remember it anymore. Because there is more people now, whom I want to keep safe" Haru declares to Selene that he will not run away from his horrible memories anymore.
Selene gently pats n Haru's head
"That's the way to keep up your spirit, now move on we have a place to reach".
Haru and Selene starts moving in a straight direction, the direction feel similar and Haru easier to remember from somewhere.
A voice inside Haru speaks to him, the voice of Crimson Devil
"You will realise everything what I said on that day now".
Haru's mind flashes back to that day [The Court Again (1)] of the Devil's warning of Kyoto's motives.
While thinking about it Haru walks past Selene who had stopped walking.
"This the place Haru, where I found out those" Selene.
Haru stops thinking about the Devil's word for moment and checks around the area.
Haru's eyes widen and mouth opens
"Sensei! This... this is the place where I first met him, the Crimson Devil".
Haru's hands were noticeably shaking than ever before. The every single memories of the Abandonment Devil hits his mind, where that poor girl was killed infront of him by the Devil to make him feel fear and the Crimson Devil first appeared to save him but his plan was something else.
Selene slowly comes and keeps her hand on Haru's shoulder
"So you mean, you made pact with the Devil right here".
Haru nodds in agreement.
Selene points to the exact spot where she found the powder like substance, Haru stops shaking and finally speaks upto her "That is exactly where he gave me the COVENANT to me".
The atmosphere get heavier and heavier second by second.
A very know figure appears infront of Haru. It usually appears in his mind and thoughts but know it appeared in real. Infront of him which can pnly be seen by him.
THE CRIMSON DEVIL...
