Chapter 74 - Chapter 74: What a terrifying and violent energy! The attention of Sykes, the mastermind behind the Monster Association!

"Ding! Exchange successful! Steel Armor is evolving!"

Allen's body trembled violently again, and black-red keratin began to appear on the surface of his skin. These keratin layers spread across his body like living creatures, gradually covering him entirely.

He gritted his teeth, not allowing himself to cry out. Allen felt every inch of his skin being torn and reassembled, as the black-red bio-armor enveloped his face.

He stood in front of the mirror, looking at his current appearance. The Allen in the mirror had completely transformed into a warrior covered in black-red armor.

The surface of the armor was covered with patterns that glowed crimson, fluctuating like living things with Allen's breathing. Under the light, it shimmered with a metallic luster, yet possessed the unique flexibility of a biological entity.

"Steel Armor evolution complete! The host can manifest or hide the armor at any time."

With a thought from Allen, the armor receded like a tide, disappearing back beneath his skin. He touched his arm, and the sensation was no different from that of an ordinary person.

Steel Armor brought him a tremendous increase in physical prowess. Allen's own foundation, coupled with the physical strength of Asura Kabuto, meant that even without using any techniques, his bare body alone could reach a mid-Dragon-Level!

Allen felt the surging power within him, excited beyond measure. If he didn't vent it, he probably wouldn't sleep well tonight.

He left the rental house and arrived at a desolate open space. It was far from the city, so Allen venting his power here shouldn't disturb anyone's peace, right?

Allen took a deep breath, his veins bulging, and his entire body's muscles tensed to the extreme.

"Demon Back, activate!"

"Asura Mode, activate!"

Accompanied by the cracking of bones, Allen's physique instantly expanded a circle. Dark red patterns appeared on the surface of his skin, his eyes turned blood-red, white mist emanated from his body, and the demon face on his back became even more ferocious.

He felt the immense power within him, and the muscles in his right arm swelled. Before he even launched an attack, the surrounding space twisted. Allen slammed his fist into the ground.

"Boom—!"

The moment his fist touched the ground, the entire wasteland seemed to be struck by a meteor. Nearly a thousand meters of ground instantly collapsed, forming a massive crater.

The cracks caused by this strike spread outwards from the circular crater for dozens of miles, and the terrifying shockwave uprooted ancient trees within a radius of dozens of miles.

After the dust settled, Allen stood at the bottom of the pit, nodding in satisfaction at the destruction he had caused.

"Not bad. If I use my full strength and techniques, I could probably punch a regular Dragon-Level Monster to smithereens."

He then began to use Psychokinesis. When he evolved into Asura Mode, Allen discovered that the Psychokinesis he used in this form was very strange, more like viscous blood.

Viscous, blood-like Psychokinesis spread from around him to the edges of the pit. Although it had changed in appearance, Allen didn't feel any difference in its use compared to before. Perhaps it really was just a change in form?

Allen squatted down and touched the dark red viscous liquid left on the ground by the Psychokinesis, finding no special effects. He could only shake his head in disappointment, as he had thought it would have some terrifying ability.

"It's time to go back. Tomorrow, I still need to take Genos to register with the Hero Association."

Allen deactivated his form and turned to leave the wasteland, returning to his rental house.

At the same time, deep beneath the Monster Association, a woman with long blue hair and thin-rimmed black-framed glasses was taking off her glasses, preparing to sleep, when she suddenly felt a violent tremor coming from nearby.

"This power!" The woman abruptly got out of bed, manipulating a pink little eyeball that flapped its wings and flew in the direction of the tremor.

A moment later, Psykos, controlling Gyoro Gyoro, arrived above the deep pit. Her green eyes sparkled with excitement.

"This destructive power… it's definitely Dragon-Level!" Looking at the bottomless giant pit, she licked her lips, and Gyoro Gyoro slowly descended into the pit.

Gyoro Gyoro used the six tentacles hanging from its underside to lightly touch the unknown dark red viscous liquid remaining on the ground. In the instant it touched, the pink little fleshy ball instantly burst apart.

Psykos's pupils suddenly contracted. She felt an unprecedented energy fluctuation and violent emotion emanating from the dark red liquid. Just touching it could cause immense damage to a person.

Psykos was thrilled. The dark red energy remaining in that deep pit could make even the mastermind behind the Monster Association tremble all over. What terrifying and violent energy this was!

If such power could be added to the Monster Association, Psykos's chances in the decisive battle plan against the Hero Association would be even higher!

She immediately contacted the Monster Association executives through Gyoro Gyoro.

"A new Dragon-Level Monster has been born. Immediately dispatch reconnaissance-type Monster, focusing on the suburban areas of Z-City!"

Early the next morning, Allen stretched and walked out of his room, completely unaware that his casual act of venting power had already attracted the attention of the Monster Association.

"Senior! Good morning!" Genos was already standing upright at the door, waiting.

"Morning, Genos. You're here so early?" Allen greeted him with a smile.

"To avoid delaying Senior's time, I arrived here two hours early to wait," Genos replied seriously.

Allen shook his head helplessly: "Let's go, I'll take you to register with the Hero Association."

Allen took Genos and rode the subway, preparing to go to the Hero Association Z-City branch.

In the train car, other passengers looked at Allen with admiration. A little boy, holding a hero roster, ran over to ask for his autograph.

"Z-City Watchman! I saw the news, thank you and Bang and Bald Cape for destroying the meteor that was going to destroy Z-City!" The little boy stomped his feet repeatedly to express his excitement when he saw Allen.

Allen scratched his head. Had his hero name become Z-City Watchman?

He squatted down and took the hero roster the little boy handed him: "Little friend, what's your name?"

"My name is Snot-nosed Brat," the boy replied excitedly.

"When I grow up, I want to be a hero just like you!"

"Snot-nosed Brat…" Allen heard the familiar name and was slightly stunned. Isn't this the child Garou met?

Allen extended his hand to Snot-nosed Brat and made a pinky promise with him: "You can do it. When you grow up, we'll protect Z-City together."

Then he smiled and signed his name on the hero roster, and wrote down his phone number. He gently ruffled Snot-nosed Brat's head.

"This is my phone number. If you ever see a strange old man with two pointy silver hairs on his head, call me at this number."

"I am his senior brother, Bao Lang. If you see him, tell him I have something to find him for. Remember?" Allen's face showed a kind smile.

"Mm-hmm, I know!" Snot-nosed Brat nodded, his expression serious.

Genos, beside them, was a bit curious about who Senior Allen's junior brother was, but since Senior didn't say, he didn't ask further.

After the subway arrived at the station, Allen took Genos directly to the Hero Association branch.
