After about thirty minutes of travel from the academy Lucien stepped out of the carriage.
He looked at the teleportation gate in front of him.
"Good Afternoon, Sir Lucien. We wish you to have a great experience at the magic tower."
The gatekeeper of the teleportation gate greeted him.
I nodded and stepped into the teleportation gate as it activated.
After all this was the only way to reach the Magic Tower, since the Magic Tower was not on Earth or rather not on the ground.
I looked up at the sky, there was a massive island floating in the air -- the 3rd on the list of Unsolved Magical Phenomenon, Celestara.
The entire Celestara is owned by the Magic tower where it was first established and still stands today.
I felt a force sucking me in, when I opened my eyes again I was standing in a different location.
"Welcome to Magic Tower."
The gatekeeper said with a smile.
Infront of me were multiple massive towers.

"Excuse me."
"Good morning, How nay I help..ah sir Lucien.."
The receptionist greeted me.
"We have already prepared for your evaluation. Which one are you taking first the practical evaluation or the theory."
"I will be taking the practical evaluation first."
"Ah yes. Please follow me to the testing grounds."
I followed behind her.
Along the way I felt various gazes on me.
"Wait..is that Lucien."
"Is he finally going to take the promotional exam."
"I heard rumours that he is a Grade 6 mage"
I soon reached a massive ground meant for testing mages.
There I saw a middle aged man and young man.
"So you finally arrived, Lucien."
"...So you will be my witness, Sir Domian."
Domian de Nocturne. A Grade 4 mage, A key member of the council of mages of mage tower.
Normally a grade 6-7 witness would be enough because the practical test only requires one to perform a spell matching the selected rank.
And the young man next to him...was a journalist with a camera..
"So, Why is a journalist here?"
"Hahha.... it's just to record your achievement...after all you are a GRADE 5 MAGE,RIGHT?"
"The youngest one in current era of the Empire too at that..."
I smirked, so that's what this is about..given his passion for magic a existence like the original Lucien would surely disgust him...he must be thinking I was gonna try to bribe my way through here, so he personally supervised the evaluation along with the journalist to expose my lies.
I smirked...but it's not a lie, not anymore.
"Then shall I cast the magic now?"
"Oh my please do.., What spell are you going to cast."
"Inferno."
"Inferno you say..."
A big magic circle appeared about 20 feet away from us.
Domian's eyes widened.
"It's really a grade 5 spell inferno....wait why does its inner structure look different."
"If I were you, i would cast a barrier."
I said to Domian.
"What are you talking about..a infernos range shouldn't reach here-... "
*Snap*
I snapped my fingers. And the magic circle activated.
I also cast a barrier in front of me.
Domian's eyes dilated as he felt immense heat, but with his Grade 4 strength he reacted instantly casting a barrier arround himself and the frozen journalist.
"How c-could this be..."
Domian looked utterly shocked as he looked at the 30 feet tall Raging Inferno tornado....but it was not a normal inferno...It was Blue in colour with such intense heat that surrounding ground completey melted.
"...H-hell-fire."
The journalist and Domian said at the same time.
*Snap*
I snapped my fingers again.
The Magic circle vanished along side with the hellfire inferno.
"That should be enough for the practical evaluation,...as for the theoretical evaluation, since I solved one of the 8 unsolved phenomenon as promised by the magic tower anyone who solves one is exempted from theoretical evaluation up to the rank of Grade 2..."
I turned and left without turning back at the dumbfounded Domian and journalist.

As the carriage left towards the Blackharts estate in the imperial city, Lucien looked at his status window.
