The train slowed down.
A voice echoed through the speakers:
"Final destination."
The doors opened.
Outside was nothing but darkness.
The ticket collector stood beside him.
"You may stay," he said softly. "Or you may step into the unknown."
The passengers began walking out into the black void one by one.
Rafiq looked back at the empty train.
Then forward into the darkness.
He took a step.
The doors closed behind him.
The train disappeared into the night.
And every midnight, at that same station—
A silent train still arrives.
Waiting for someone who doesn't know they're already gone.
