Chapter 114 - Chapter 113

[Keifer's POV]

The quiet of the estate didn't just break; it was annihilated.

By 9:00 AM, the grand driveway was a parking lot for luxury cars and tuned-up engines. The "Squad" hadn't just arrived; they had staged a full-scale invasion. As Jay and I walked down the stairs—me holding her hand like it was made of diamonds—the foyer was already vibrating with the voices of the people who knew our history better than anyone.

The Great Breakfast Inquisiton

The dining table had to be extended to its full length to accommodate everyone. On the boys' side, David, Calix, Erdix, Mayo, Kit, and Felix were already piling their plates high, while Ci N sat back with a smirk, watching me like he was waiting for a system crash.

On the girls' side, Freya, Mica, Rakki, and Ella were huddled around Jay, their eyes scanning her for any lingering "glitches."

"So, Keifer," Calix started, leaning forward with a piece of bacon pointed at me. "We heard the 'Blue Suite' went into a lockdown. Did the CEO finally get fired by his own Empress?"

"I heard the gravity shifted so hard the neighbors heard the shouting," Kit added, winking at Mayo and Felix, who were snickering into their juice.

"Analysis, Keifer," Ci N drawled, his voice dripping with irony. "Did you forget that a thread-width distance in the office equals a canyon-width distance in the bedroom?"

I felt my face heat up—a rare occurrence for the 'Cold Prince.' "The system underwent a necessary reboot," I muttered, but the teasing was only just beginning.

The Family Joins the Fray

To my horror, my own family didn't provide any backup. They joined the enemy.

"Oh, it was more than a reboot," Mamma Serina chimed in, passing a tray of pastries. "Keifer was sitting on the floor like a banished puppy. I've never seen a CEO look so... un-executive."

"He was crying!" Keiran shouted, pointing his fork at me. "He thought Ate Jay floated away because of the gravity!"

"He was begging at the door," Keigan added, cackling as he high-fived Erdix. "I believe the exact words were 'I'm a monster, please open the door.' It was 100% pathetic."

Pappa Keizer didn't even hide his grin behind the newspaper. "A Watson man learns eventually that the CEO title stops at the bedroom door. Jay clearly holds the majority shares now."

Jay was hiding her face in her coffee cup, her "Glow" returning in a bright, beautiful blush. Freya, Rakki, and Ella were leaning into her, whispering questions that made her turn even redder.

"Did he really buy a 5-carat brooch just to say sorry?" Mica asked, eyeing the diamond on Jay's dresser upstairs.

"The jewelry was just the hardware," Jay whispered, her voice finally playful again. "The software update was much more... intense."

"Ooh!" Ella and Rakki squealed in unison, while the boys let out a collective "Woo!" that made the chandeliers rattle.

The Afternoon Proclamation

After breakfast, we all moved to the terrace. The sun was high, the garden was in full bloom, and the atmosphere was thick with the kind of joy that only comes after a storm.

Mamma Serina stood up, tapping her glass with a silver spoon. The laughter died down as she looked at me and Jay, her eyes shimmering with a deep, maternal pride.

"We have spent enough time analyzing the data," Mamma announced. "The Watson-Jay Constant has been stress-tested, and it is unbreakable. Therefore, we are moving to the final integration."

She looked at her watch and then at the calendar on her tablet. "The wedding of Keifer Watson and Jay will be held on April 25th."

A heavy silence hit the terrace for exactly one second before David shouted, "Wait! That's only one week away!"

"Seven days?" Freya shrieked, her eyes wide. "Mamma Serina, that's an engineering nightmare! The dress, the flowers, the guest list!"

"The Watsons don't do 'nightmares,' Freya," Pappa Keizer said, standing up and placing a hand on my shoulder. "We do miracles. Every resource of the Watson Group is being diverted to this wedding starting... now."

The One-Week Countdown

The terrace turned into a war room. Mica and Ella were already pulling up floral catalogs. Felix and Kit were arguing over the bachelor party logistics. Ci N was looking at security protocols, and Keigan was trying to figure out how to automate the confetti cannons.

I looked at Jay. She looked slightly overwhelmed, but when she met my eyes, the fear was gone. There was only the "Glow"—brighter and steadier than I had ever seen it.

"Seven days, Empress," I whispered, pulling her into my arms in front of everyone. I didn't care about the whistling or the teasing anymore. "Can your heart handle a one-week deadline?"

"As long as you're the one managing the project," she murmured, wrapping her arms around my neck. "I think the 'Constant' can handle a little overtime."

"100%," I promised, before kissing her deeply, marking the beginning of the most chaotic, beautiful week in the history of the Watson Estate.
