[Jay's POV]
The lights of the Pavilion were fading in the rearview mirror as the black Watson limousine purred toward the estate. The party was still roaring behind us—I could still hear Calix trying to lead the squad in a heavy-metal version of "Wedding Bells"—but inside the car, the world was silent, cool, and scented with the orchids from my hair.
Keifer hadn't let go of my hand for a single second. He sat there, his tuxedo jacket discarded, his tie loosened, looking at me with an intensity that made the $100\%$ Glow inside me pulse like a heartbeat. The Return of the EmpressWhen the car pulled up to the front of the mansion, the entire staff was lined up, led by a beaming Mamma Serina and a surprisingly emotional Pappa Keizer. The rest of the inner circle—Kuya Angelo, Lia, Keigan, and Keiran—had raced ahead of us to "prepare the landing."
the doors opened, the squad let out one final, unified cheer.
Lia was throwing handfuls of gold confetti she'd clearly smuggled from the reception. "WELCOME HOME, MRS. WATSON!"
Kuya Angelo stepped forward, giving Keifer a firm nod of respect before pulling me into one last "Kuya hug." "Take care of her, Keif. Or the next system crash won't be digital."
Keigan and Keiran were standing by the grand staircase, holding a massive banner that read: OFFICIALLY INTEGRATED.
The Threshold
Keifer walked me to the front door, but he didn't let me walk through it.
"System check, Jay," he whispered, his voice dropping into that low, gravelly frequency that always made my knees weak. "The traditional protocol requires a specific manual override at the entrance."
Before I could ask what he meant, he swept me off my feet, carrying me bridal-style. My silk train draped over his arm like a waterfall of moonlight.
"KEIFER!" I squeaked, laughing as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"The Empress does not walk into her palace on her first night as a Watson," he declared, his eyes locked on mine as he carried me across the threshold.
We passed Bridget, who was standing near the shadows of the hallway. She looked defeated, the fire of her jealousy finally extinguished by the sheer weight of the love in the room. She watched us pass, and for the first time, she didn't say a word. She just lowered her head, acknowledging the new reality: The "Constant" was permanent.
The Blue Suite Sanctuary
He didn't stop at the foyer. He carried me all the way up the grand staircase, past the cheering squad (Mica, Ella, Freya, and Rakki were currently blowing bubbles from the balcony), and straight to the double doors of the Blue Suite.
He kicked the doors shut behind us, silencing the world.
The room was filled with hundreds of candles and petals, the air warm and still. He gently set me down on my feet, but he didn't pull away. His hands stayed on my waist, pulling me flush against him in the dim, golden light.
"Analysis, Jay?" he murmured, his forehead resting against mine.
"The mission is complete, CEO," I whispered, my fingers tangling in the hair at the nape of his neck. "The variables are all in place. The system is 100% stable."
"No," Keifer whispered, leaning down to press a slow, deep, and final kiss to my lips. "The mission isn't complete. The mission is just beginning. And from now on, the only data I care about is how happy I can make you."
I leaned into him, the "Glow" finally settling into a warm, eternal hum. We were home. I was a Watson. And the world was finally, perfectly, in sync.
