Chapter 231 - Chapter 230 the double sync

The Double Sync: The 2,000% Revelation

[Jay's POV]

The air in the medical suite felt different today. It had been exactly four weeks since the first ultrasound, and while the "Morning Sickness Glitch" had slightly recalibrated, the exhaustion was doubling. My "Glow" felt like it was powering a small city, and my stomach was already showing a tiny, firm curve that felt far too advanced for twelve weeks.

Keifer was sitting in the "Partner Chair," his leg bouncing at a frequency that could have powered a generator. He had three different tablets open—one tracking my vitals, one for Watson Enterprises, and one titled "Optimal Nutritional Ratios for Year 1."

"Keifer, put the tech away," I whispered, reaching for his hand. "You're going to interfere with the ultrasound frequency."

"I'm just prepping the 'Archive,' Weify," he murmured, though he instantly closed the screens. He looked at me, his blue eyes softening. "Are you ready for the 'Status Update'?"

"Ready," I breathed.

The Screen Reveal: [Author's POV]

Cin entered the room, looking uncharacteristically serious. He knew the weight of the Watson legacy, but he also loved a good dramatic reveal. He applied the cool gel and moved the wand over Jay's stomach.

The monitor flickered. The familiar "Bean" appeared, much larger now, with tiny arms and legs visible in a grainy, beautiful dance.

"There's the Heir," Keifer said, his voice thick with pride. "Look at that 'Powerhouse' posture. He's already dominating the screen."

Cin didn't say anything. He moved the wand slightly to the left. Then to the right. He hummed a low, clinical sound.

"Wait," Keifer's "CEO" instincts kicked in. "What's that shadow in Sector B? Is that a 'System Error'? Is there a glitch in the imaging?"

Cin let out a slow, triumphant laugh and turned the monitor toward them. "That's not a glitch, Keifer. And that's not a shadow."

He froze the image. On the screen, clearly separated by a thin membrane, were two distinct, flickering hearts. Two sets of tiny limbs. Two perfect, high-definition "Files."

The Total System Crash: [Keifer's POV]

The world didn't just stop; it performed a hard reboot.

I looked at the first heartbeat. Then I looked at the second. I felt the air leave my lungs. My "Data-Driven" brain tried to calculate the logistics—two cribs, two strollers, two college funds, two sets of security details.

"Two?" I rasped. My voice sounded like it was coming from another dimension. "Cin... are you telling me the 'Powerhouse' has been... cloned?"

"Twins, Keifer," Cin grinned, clapping him on the shoulder. "A 200% success rate. You didn't just secure the lineage; you doubled the empire."

[Jay's POV]

I burst into tears—half laughter, half pure, overwhelming shock. "Twins? Oh my god, Keifer... no wonder I've been so tired! I'm running two 'Systems' at once!"

Keifer didn't move for a long minute. He just stared at the screen, his hand trembling as he reached out to touch the glass. Then, he let out a laugh—a loud, raw, joyful sound that echoed through the suite. He leaned over and gathered me into a hug so tight I could feel his heart hammering against mine.

"Two," he whispered into my hair. "1,000% for each. Jay... we're going to have a 'Double Sync'."

The "Family Announcement" Chaos

The door to the waiting room burst open before Cin could even give the "All Clear." Mamma Serina, Pappa Keizer, Bridget, and the brothers practically fell into the room.

"Status report!" Bridget shouted, her eyes darting to the screen.

"The report," Keifer said, standing up and looking at his family with a smugness that could light up the entire city, "is that the Watson Empire is now a Multi-User Environment."

He held up two fingers.

Mamma Serina gasped, clutching her pearls. "Two?! Oh, Keizer, we need a bigger nursery!"

"I told you!" Keiran shouted to Keigan. "I told you the 'Glow' was too bright for just one! I'm going to be a Double-Uncle!"

"Bridget," Pappa Keizer said, a rare, massive grin on his face. "Double the security budget. Immediately."

"Already on it, Pappa," Bridget replied, her eyes shimmering. "I'm going to need a second tactical stroller."
