Chapter 252 - Chapter 251soul sync

The Midnight Buffer: A 1,000% Soul Sync

[Jay's POV]

The house was finally quiet. The "Chaos Squad" had retired to their wings, and even the twins, Alexander and Aurora, seemed to have reached a "System Standby" mode for the night. I was sitting on the edge of our massive bed, staring out the floor-to-ceiling windows at the city lights, feeling the weight of the 6th month in every bone.

My lips were still a little tender from the "SUV Incident," and my heart was still racing from the sheer intensity of Keifer's possessiveness.

Then, I heard the soft click of the door. Keifer walked in, but he wasn't the "Ice King" CEO anymore. He had shed his blazer and tie, his white shirt unbuttoned at the collar, looking raw and utterly devoted.

The "Low-Frequency" Connection

He didn't say a word. He walked over and sat on the floor between my knees, leaning his back against the bed. He reached up, taking my hands in his and kissing my knuckles one by one.

"Are you still mad at me for being a 'Jealous Dork'?" he murmured, his voice a low vibration that seemed to settle right into my soul.

"I'm not mad, Keifer," I whispered, running my fingers through his dark, slightly messy hair. "I'm just... overwhelmed. You're so intense. Sometimes I forget that the rest of the world sees a 'Powerhouse,' but I see a man who's terrified of losing a millisecond.of my attention."He turned around, kneeling so we were eye-to-eye. He placed his large, warm hands on the sides of my face, his thumbs tracing the line of my still-swollen lips."I'm not terrified of losing your attention, Jay," he rasped, his blue eyes searching mine with a $1,000\%$ honesty. "I'm terrified of anything touching the world we've built. Every kick I feel from Alexander and Aurora, every 'Glow' I see on your skin... it's a piece of data I want to archive forever. I don't want to share the view."

The Heartbeat Sync: [Jay's POV]

He leaned forward, pressing his forehead against mine. I closed my eyes, breathing him in—cedarwood, rain, and that unique "Keifer" scent that always signaled my "Safe Zone."

"Alexander is quiet tonight," I whispered.

"He knows his Father is on guard," Keifer replied, his hands sliding down from my face to rest over the twins. He started to hum—not the corporate jingle Bridget teased him about, but a low, wordless melody that felt like a lullaby for my entire nervous system.

I felt a tear slip down my cheek. It wasn't a "Mood Swing" tear; it was a "System Completion" tear."Keifer?""I'm here, Weify.""Promise me that even when they're here—even when the house is full of crying and diapers and $1,000\%$ chaos—you'll still look at me like I'm the only 'Primary File' in your life."

The Vow: [Keifer's POV]I pulled back just enough to look at her. She looked like a goddess in the moonlight, her "Double-Heir" bump a testament to the life we were creating."Jay," I said, my voice as steady as a mountain. "You are the OS. You are the source code. The babies are the beautiful output, but you are the reason the system exists. I will be $1,000\%$ obsessed with you until the day my hardware finally shuts down. No one—not a doctor, not an assistant, not even our own children—will ever come before you."

He leaned in, but this time the kiss was different. It wasn't possessive or aggressive. It was slow, deep, and tasted like a promise. It was the kind of kiss that rebuilt a soul.

He pulled away and whispered against my lips, "1,000%."

"1,000%," I breathed back.
