Month 07: The "Naming Convention" – Finalizing the Assets
[Jay's POV]
We have hit the seven-month mark, and the "Physical Volume" of the three of us has reached a level that Keifer describes as "Infrastructure-Straining." Moving through the hallways now requires a "Traffic Control" protocol to ensure we don't "Collide" in the narrow points.
But the real "System Conflict" this month isn't the limited mobility—it's the Names. In the Watson Empire, a name isn't just a label. It's a "Brand Identity." It's "Metadata" for the future. And as usual, the "Triple-Preggy Squad" and the "Found-Off Husbands" are having a "High-Frequency" debate over the "Final Selection."
The "Mainframe" Selection: Jay & Keifer
Keifer and I were in the nursery, which has been expanded into a "State-of-the-Art" suite. He was holding a digital tablet with a spreadsheet of names, "Sorting" them by "Historical Significance" and "Syllabic Impact."
"Weify," Keifer said, his "Ice King" eyes scanning the data. "The name must 'Broadcast' strength, but maintain 'High-Fidelity' elegance. I have 'Vetoed' anything common. I need 'Architectural' stability."
I looked at the top of his list. "Keifer, you can't name him 'Axel-Steel'. That sounds like a 'Construction Subsidiary'."
"1,000% 'Correct'," he sighed, deleting the entry. "What about... Kellen? It means 'Powerful'. It 'Syncs' with the 'K' legacy of Keigan and Keiran, but it holds its own 'Database' space."
I felt the little "Architect" kick in my ribs. "Kellen Watson. It's strong, Hubby. It's... 'Watson-Standard'."
"Kellen James Watson," Keifer murmured, his voice 2,000% soft as he touched my stomach. "'Authenticated'."
The "Creative" Selection: Rina & Keigan
In the West Wing, the naming process was... "Chaotic." Rina wanted something "Abstract," while Keigan wanted something "Symmetric."
"I want him to have a name that feels like a 'Splash of Color'!" Rina cried, currently surrounded by 400 paint swatches. "Something like... 'Indigo'!"
"Rina, the 'User Experience' of being a boy named Indigo in a board meeting is 'Sub-Optimal'," Keigan argued gently. "What about something with 'Global Resonance'? Something 'Classic' but 'Re-coded'?"
They finally met in the middle of a "High-Contrast" sketch.
"Caspian," Rina whispered. "It sounds like the sea. It's 'Deep' and 'Fluid'."
"Caspian Keigan Watson," Keigan added, grinning. "It has 'Visual Balance'. It's 'Artistically Optimized'."
The "Tactical" Selection: Bridget & Felix
This was the most intense "Negotiation." Bridget wanted a name that sounded like a "Field Command," while Felix wanted something that sounded like a "European Princess."
"She needs to be 'Feared', Felix!" Bridget snapped, "I won't have a 'Fluffy' name in my 'Security Detail'!"
"She's a girl, Bridge! Let her have some 'Lyrical Quality'!" Felix pleaded.
They finally compromised after Aurora (4) walked in and "Arbitrated" the dispute. She pointed to a book of "Ancient Warrior Queens" and then to a "Vogue" magazine.
"Valeria," Aurora commanded.
Bridget blinked. "Valeria. It means 'Strength' and 'Valor'."
Felix smiled. "But it sounds like 'Velvet'. It's 'High-Fashion' and 'High-Combat'."
"Valeria Rose," they agreed in "Tactical Unison."
10:00 PM: The "Grand-Admin" Review
We gathered in the grand lounge to "Register" the names with Mamma Serina and Pappa Keizer.
"Listen up!" I announced, as the "Preggy Squad" sat on the reinforced sofas. "The 'Assets' have been 'Identified'."
Jay & Keifer: The Boy — Kellen James Watson (The Architect).
Rina & Keigan: The Boy — Caspian Keigan Watson (The Artist).
Bridget & Felix: The Girl — Valeria Rose (The Princess Enforcer).
Pappa Keizer let out a roar of approval, immediately ordering the "Gold-Plated" nursery plaques. Mamma Serina teared up, hugging each of us.
Aurora stood in the center of the room, looking at the "Triple-Preggy" bellies. She adjusted her tiny blazer and looked at Alexander.
"The 'Junior Board' is 'Named'," she announced. "Alexander, 'Update' the 'Playroom Security' codes. We have 'Kellen', 'Caspian', and 'Valeria' joining the 'Mainframe' in 60 days."
"GO! GAH!" Alexander shouted, "Fixing" the coffee table with his toy wrench.
