The white-robed woman handed him a box that supposedly contained a single platinum item, giving it as payment for the knife artifact he had purchased.
Infori accepted it graciously after he received and put the platinum box away. He then handed him the box containing the knife or dagger.
"Here you go."
She accepted it calmly.
"Thank you very much," she said.
"You're welcome~" Infori replied, with a friendly smile, pleased to see his shop's customers happy.
Then, having found what he was looking for, the white-robed woman quickly left the Atziluth Artifacts shop, feeling very pleased.
She opened the closed shop door and walked out. After he left, the door closed by itself, with a chime.
The white-robed woman walked to the right of the door.
Infori breathed a sigh of relief.
"Haah... That's it. Honestly, I was wondering why that mysterious white-robed woman wanted a rare artifact like that knife?" he muttered.
But he remembered that his job was still to serve, not to ask questions about what he wanted from the artifacts he was selling.
Unless the buyers were people with bad intentions.
"Well, why should I think about that? Besides, I'm just serving. I won't interfere with the affairs of those who buy these artifacts," he muttered.
Then, his eyes immediately fell on the box that was supposed to contain one platinum as payment for the purchase of the rare artifact. He examined the box and felt something odd.
"..."
He thought for a moment, wondering if there was anything odd about the box the white-robed figure had given him. After a long moment of silence, he finally realized something.
"...?!"
Infori immediately turned toward the door, realizing that the white-robed figure had already left the shop some time ago.
"Ah, damn it! How could I forget my father's advice?! I should have checked the buyer's money before handing over the goods!" Infori exclaimed, feeling both annoyed and regretful at the same time. "Ah, never mind!"
Infori then ran to the door, opened it quickly, and went out to chase after the mysterious white-robed figure. As usual, the door closed again. So, Infori didn't have to wait long to close it again.
He ran as fast as he could to find the white-robed figure carrying a rare and valuable artifact, which he exchanged for counterfeit money.
Infori ran to the right, because he clearly remembered where the white-robed figure had left his shop. He ran as fast as he could to catch up and retrieve the knife the person had "stolen."
