David and I walked through the hallways and reached the lobby. There was an ice cream machine in the corner.
"Now, what would you like, brother?"
David wrapped his arm around my shoulder.
"I'll… take vanilla then."
Confusion flickered on his face but he quickly replaced it with a smile.
"Then I'll take that one too."
"Um, you don't need to force yourself if you don't want to."
"You're right. I wasn't forcing myself," He retrieved his hand from my shoulder. "I just want to know my brother well."
"You already have my resume."
"Haha, that was different. But," He pointed at me with an amused expression. "I want you, to personally tell me your preferences. Something that doesn't require 'stalking'."
"Heh! Sure."
"Nice! Then let's order!"
He dragged me to the counter of the ice cream shop.
There were different flavors. [Chocolate], [Mint], [Vanilla], [Strawberry], and [Rainbow Crash].
"[Rainbow Crash], huh."
"Do you want it?"
"It sounds fishy… like that."
David burst out laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world. I started to laugh awkwardly too.
"That perception of yours is really something!"
"...? Thanks?"
"What would you like to order?"
A voice asked behind the counter.
"A—ah, two cones of vanilla please."
David ordered for us.
The man then handed David both scoops of ice cream. We looked like children awaiting our ice creams excitedly.
"Don't we need to pay?"
"Nah, its good."
Now that I've recovered my memories, David sounds so chill.
I decided to leave all worries for now and enjoy my ice cream.
'Dang, its creamy!'
"Do you like it?"
"Yes! The ice cream is very smooth, not too sweet too so its perfect!"
"Ah! You like this flavor so much huh?"
Hearing me get caught, I said with guilt, "I…don't like it."
"Then you love it!"
