"Hey Adrian?"
Adrian spun around, in his rage, he had completely forgotten about David.
"David, I can explain…!"
"No need, I understand."
"...Yeah, I'll find a way to get us out of here." Adrian assured, although he was not sure himself. He began by exploring the environment until a thought flashed in his mind.
'Wait, huh? I... changed? Wait, how is this possible? Is it really done? Are we... free? No way, this feels too easy.
Crack. The floor split. Revealing a void beneath.
"I knew it." He murmured to himself.
Just then, bright blue and red flashed emerged from the void. Adrian activated a single tendril to protect himself. The tendril shot up, attempting in directing the attack, as it came in contact with the flash... it glitched.
Adrian can no longer control the tendril, left with no choice he ran and ran and ran. Afar, David can be seen dodging the flashes by himself, seeing Adrian, he was distracted and was overpowered.
The flash raised itself and crashed down, obliterating David.
Adrian can only do nothing but run, but, a voice echoed across the space.
[Game Disabling...]
[Data Deleting.]
"Game...?"
Time paused.
A sudden gush of wind pulled every element towards itself. Adrian's feet has begun to float.
The wind absorbed intensely, a book from a nearby shelf flew and collided with the frozen Adrian, dragging him towards the center of the wind.
It was not a wind but a hole, a rift, a break in space, with the purpose of deleting data from a storage.
'Storage? Data?'
Adrian thought, floating aimlessly within the void.
Towering words then spelt,
[Would you like to restart the program?]
[Yes]
[No]
He declared, "Yes. Restart the program."
