Chapter 1 - 1- mind your own business

Company's POV — Moon Company

"Sir, we've collected all the share details. Another company wants to collaborate with us," the employee said, unable to hide his excitement. "If we accept, Moon Company will rise to the top level… right, sir?"

The owner sat calmly, turning a page of his newspaper. After a brief silence, his eyes shifted toward the window.

"We shouldn't start this yet."

The employee froze. "What? Sir… this is a golden opportunity."

"I know," the owner replied quietly, lowering the paper. His gaze was steady, unreadable. "But it's not the right time."

"…Understood, sir."

They looked at each other for a moment — ambition clashing with quiet experience — before silence filled the room again.

Midnight Club

At 11:30 PM, the midnight club shimmered with lights. People from every social class came here, especially the wealthy children of the city.

luxury black car stopped in front of the entrance. Several young people stepped out — elegant, confident, clearly from powerful families.

Friend: "Woo, we're here! Let's celebrate !"

Friend: "Look at Subian… Mike wants to get drunk again and get scolded by his father."

Mike: "Oh come on. I'm happy because Sophia is giving us a party today. And after getting drunk, I'll stay at Subian's place… right, Subian?"

Subian: "Haha, right. No problem."

Even with all the laughter, one person stood silently — Sophia — calm, cold, and distant.

Subian walked closer.

"Hey, Sophia… can you try to be in a better mood today?" he smiled softly.

The group went quiet and entered the club together.

Inside, loud music, flashing lights, and alcohol filled the air.

Mike: "Let's go there. I booked seats."

Subian: "Hey Mike, don't drink too much this time."I won't talk to your father.

Suhi: laughing "Just hearing about his father makes his face turn pale."

Mike: 'Ohh, shut up!'

A waitress arrived to take their order.

Subian: "Let's order food and drinks… Hey Sophia, what will you have?"

Sophia: "Only drinks."

Subian: "Not on an empty stomach. I'll order something for you."

Sophia: "Do whatever."

Later,..

Sophia went to the restroom.

Outside the door, she saw two girls kissing openly.

Her eyes narrowed.

"Hey, you… do you think this is a hotel?" she said coldly.

One of them replied, "What's the problem? We're not doing anything wrong."

Sophia scoffed. "Learn some manners." "you idiot"

The calmer girl stepped forward. "Miss… we're sorry."

Sophia smirked slightly and walked away — until someone grabbed her wrist.

What the fuck.....?

"Miss… don't you think you should apologize too?"

Sophia yanked her hand free. "Don't touch me." you.. crazy..

Sophie storms out in anger.

"Hey song "

You made her angry. I know her she is arogent and rude

Seeing her leave, Song returns to kissing her partner.

Back at the table, Sophia returned to the table and emptied her drink in one gulp, anger burning inside her — her mind still stuck on that girl.

the party continued — until a glass of wine accidentally spilled on Mike.

He became angry, humiliating the waitress. Suhi mocked her too. The waitress almost cried while apologizing.

Suhi suddenly threw a glass of wine straight onto the waitress's face.

The waitress couldn't understand what was happening — she just stood there silently, enduring everything without a word.

Suddenly, a cold voice cut through the noise.

"Hey… you."

Everyone turned.

Sophia turned her gaze toward her, eyes sharp with quiet tension.

It was Song, the bartender — the same girl from earlier.

The waitress whispered Song's name, tears filling her eyes, voice barely steady.

When Mike snapped, "Who the hell are you?"

Song didn't even look at him. With a cold, unreadable face, she replied in just one word, "Her senior."

"I don't care," Mike said angrily. "She ruined my clothes — now she's going to apologize to me."

Song ignored Mike completely, as if his words meant nothing — her calm eyes stayed only on the trembling waitress, filled with quiet concern.

Subian and Sophia just watched, as if nothing mattered to them.

Without showing any reaction, Song said coldly to the waitress, "Didn't you hear? Go and take care of the other table."

Then Suhi laughed, teasing the waitress as "poor and rude."

Then, everyone's eyes went wide as sparkling droplets of water scattered through the air.

Suddenly, no one knew what had happened. Suhi stood drenched, and all eyes turned to Song.

Mike was stunned, struggling to comprehend Suhi soaked through. Subian watched quietly, a faint smile on his lips—but…

Sophia shouted, glaring at Song, "What the fucking hell! Why did you throw water on her?!"

Looking at Suhi, Song said calmly, without a hint of reaction, "You shouldn't have thrown the wine."

Sophia was about to speak when Mike suddenly grabbed Song's shoulder from behind, seething, "You bitch!"

Then Song struck sharply on the side of the table, and everyone's eyes followed the silver fork as it flew into the air… and…

Before anyone could blink, Sophia's eyes went wide as Mike saw the fork just inches from his neck, held firmly by Song… her gaze fixed on him as he pulled back.

Song also lowered the fork, placing it back on the table, and took a few steps toward the waitress.

she stepped forward and calmly defended the waitress, pointing toward the CCTV camera.

"Wine fell on him by accident. She doesn't need to apologize."

The atmosphere froze. Even Sophia watched silently.

Song cleaned the waitress's tears with a handkerchief.

"Not every mistake needs an apology," she said quietly.

The waitress was in tears "but Song.. I m ...

Song softly said, "It's okay," and told her to go and rest.

Everyone was still watching Song. when Subian stood up and walked over to Mike, teasing him with a smile, "Hey Mike, looks like your high has worn off."

Everyone settled back into their seats and the party continued, but…

The tension slowly faded, but Sophia kept watching her.

Later,..

Mike was completely drunk, apologizing to Suhi, while Subian steadied him. Song calmly placed the wine bottle on their table, eyes cold and unreadable.

All eyes in the group slowly turned back to Song, as if drawn to her.

Song's eyes caught the wine droplets spreading across the table. Sophia was carelessly spilling them, lost in anger. Without a flicker of emotion, Song moved closer, calm and deliberate, wiping the mess with quiet precision. Her composed presence stood in sharp contrast to the tension, and for a moment, the room seemed to hold its breath, watching her handle it all with icy grace.

Mike and Suhi's faces slowly shifted back into haughty smiles as they said—

"Dirty poors" haha hahaaa

Sophia kept her eyes fixed on her. Then Subian, teasing, looked at Mike and said, "Hey Mike, feeling better in the neck now?"

Mike's gaze drifted to the fork on the table, then back to his neck, and he snapped, "You fuck, Subian!"

Song walked away, and everyone slowly returned to enjoying themselves. After a while, Sophia's phone began to ring.

Sophia kept ignoring the call, but Subian's eyes stayed fixed on her. He leaned in and said, "It might be important."

Sophia stepped outside to answer a call.

Mother (phone): "Where are you, Sophia?"

"In a club."

"You went alone again? Go home."

"I can take care of myself."

Her mother's voice softened. "You're my responsibility… and the future of the family."

Sophia ended the call and stared at the cold moon above, gripping her phone tightly.

When she returned, Sophia froze, her body and expression stiff with shock.

The person Sophia stared at was someone she had met before.

On the sofa, one girl was kissing another, both lost completely in each other.

It was Song, lost in the kiss with the other girl.

But the shocking part was that the girl with Song wasn't the one from the restroom — it was someone else entirely.

Sophia whispered to herself, "What the fuck…"

Then Sophia realized — Song's eyes were locked on her.

Song resumed the kiss, her hand slipping inside the other girl's clothes.

Sophia's face turned red with irritation and something she didn't understand.

"She's a pervert… what the hell!" she muttered and walked away.

Sophia sank back into her seat, muttering curses under her breath.

Subian: what happened? Are you ok Sophia

Yehh I'm ohk, She took a sip of her drink, trying to steady herself.

Subian moved closer and asked softly, "Hey, are you worried about the company or because of uncle?"

Sophia said nothing, her silence heavy and unreadable.

Subian said gently, "You'll do your best for the company."

Sophia: hmm

Subian smiled softly, his gaze fixed steadily on Sophia.

The night had settled, the club around them growing quiet. Drunken voices faded, and eyes grew heavy with fatigue.

In the friend group, only Subian and Sophia had kept their drinks light, while Mike and Suhi were completely drunk.

Subian and Sophia helped steady Mike and Suhi, guiding them toward their car.

Both of them helped their friends into their cars. Subian returned to Sophia's side and said softly, "We should go… drive carefully." His voice was gentle, almost a whisper.

Sophia gave no reaction, simply murmuring, "Hmm," and walked toward her car. but..

Suddenly, Subian pulled Sophia into a quiet embrace, his heartbeat racing. She barely reacted, saying nothing as he whispered, "Everything will be alright."

Sophia gave no reaction, only a quiet "hmm." Subian nodded, got into his car, and drove off into the night.

Later that night, while leaving the club, several men in dark clothes blocked her car.

"Miss Sophia, you need to come with us."

She smirked. "Get out of my way."

"Don't make us force you."

One man grabbed her wrist — but before anything happened,

someone's voice echoed behind them.

"What's going on here?"

It was Song.

The man holding Sophia looked at Song and said coldly, "Mind your own business… and leave."

Sophia looked at Song for a second, then quietly turned her face away.

Hmm? Song didn't understand, her eyes filled with quiet confusion.

Then Song looked at the man and said calmly, "But… Here is my work."

The man's anger flared, and with a sharp glance, he signaled one of his men to step toward Song.

In the next instant, the man was flat on the floor — and no one understood what had just happened.

A soft laugh echoed from behind, as if someone had just played a joke. Sophia and the man both turned toward the sound — it was the girl who had arrived with Song.

"Hey… who are you? Did the company send you?"

Song: what ?

Just then, the girl behind them spoke up casually, "Song, finish this quickly… we still have to leave."

Within seconds, chaos broke out. Song moved quickly, stopping the attackers and protecting Sophia. The men were overpowered, tied up, and left unable to continue.

Song walked toward Sophia. "Miss… are you okay?"

Sophia pushed her away angrily. "Mind your own business."

Song simply watched her, silent and unreadable.

Soon, Sophia's family guards arrived

Her guard rushed forward, slightly breathless. "Miss… are you alright?"

Hmm

The guard looked at the tied-up kidnappers, shocked by their condition, then turned to Sophia and asked, "Who did this?"

Sophia shot a sideways glance at Song, who was quietly talking to her companion. The guard followed her gaze, about to ask more — but Sophia cut him off softly, "Let's go home."

The guard scanned the surroundings, his eyes pausing briefly on the CCTV camera. As he opened the car door, he glanced once toward Song — then silently drove away.

Moon palace

At Moon Palace, her grandfather listened calmly as the secretary reported the kidnapping attempt.

"This won't be the last attack before Sophia becomes CEO," he said quietly.

Soon after, the guard dragged the kidnappers in and threw them before the old man, their broken state speaking louder than words.

The old man glanced at them, then turned to the guard and said coldly, "You told me you arrived late… so how did they end up like this?"

The guard gave a quiet signal to one of his men and nodded slightly.

"Understood, sir."

A CCTV clip played — showing Song protecting Sophia.

"Sir… that girl was there at that moment," the guard said quietly.

The old man adjusted his glasses. "Arrange a meeting tomorrow."

"Understood, sir."

The guard dragged the kidnappers outside, his expression turning cold as he pulled out his gun.

..

Bang bang

"Gunshots shattered the silence of the night, birds fleeing in panic… yet the cold moon stayed still, as if it had seen too much to react."
