He sat up, gasping for air.

He muttered softly while reminiscing about old Lin Feng's end.

He continued speaking, feeling the leftover surging aura of resentment rolling off his body in waves of black energy with red streaks, as if it were about to take form and turn into some kind of abomination. He couldn't even begin to imagine how much the betrayal had hurt him if the hatred was this strong even after death.
"Sigh… what am I going to do now? I am reborn in a body that cannot practice in a world as cruel as this one, where murder and arson are a way of life. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll be killed by an unknown cultivator just for looking at him."

The series of prompts sounded inside Lin Feng's head, stunning him at first. Then came the overwhelming joy.

He soaked in his joy for a couple more seconds, then took a deep breath to calm himself. Then he glanced at the mirror to look at the aura of hatred mixed with the last bit of old Lin Feng's remnant soul.
"Don't worry, old friend. Since I have taken over your body, then I am you, and you are me. I promise you, when I have the ability to take revenge for you, everyone who has ever wronged you will pay the price—Yan Feng, Fu Tian, and that bitch Yan Mei Mei. I will make them pay back a hundred times your pain and suffering. Your father is my father. I will find our father and bring him back safely."
The resentful spirit seemed to nod to Lin Feng in the mirror, then dissipated from the world. The last bit of rejection between the body of this world's Lin Feng and the soul of Earth's Lin Feng disappeared. From now on, Lin Feng had full control over it.
