The week has been good, not good. Not because the dead is alive, we are still working on it, finding a way to figure out how Peamah came back alive.
My reason I said the week was bad was because of Princess. She really did ghost me. She never came to class, having her private class. I never once saw her. One time I thought I felt her around the hallway and I turned and she wasn't there. During sports time she acted like she doesn't know me at all. She sprinted past me when she and Beam were busy racing each other.
Sometimes I caught the wind moving when she passed.
That faint caramel scent of an Alpha brushing the air for half a second. By the time I turned my head she was already gone.
Like she wasn't even there. She only texted once a day and it was about asking about her pups, nothing else. No teasing, calling me omega.
Just simple messages. How are my pups.
Nothing else. No smiley face. No extra words. No insults. No jokes.
She really meant business.
