It was break time, and the noisy school hallway was packed with students moving between classes. Faye and Malo walked side by side down the long corridor. Faye leaned in closer to her best friend, telling him all about the scene from earlier that morning. She explained how Princess had been completely convinced she was pregnant, forcing her to take a pregnancy test before they even left the house.
Malo kept his eyes fixed ahead, his jaw dropping slightly as he listened to her story. He didn't even know what to say at first. Among all the crazy details, there was really only one main thought bouncing around in his head.
"So you guys still do it after having four pups? You should have put a full stop," Malo said, shaking his head.
They finally reached their lockers on the far side of the hallway, dropping off their textbooks.
