Chapter 19 - Episode 19 – The Kidnapping

The city was quiet, but Sasmita's heart was anything but.

She sat by her bedroom window, staring at the dark street. Her hands shook as she clutched the earpiece Srikant had given her. He had been giving instructions all evening.

"Stay calm," Srikant's voice came softly in her ear. "Lock all doors. Don't open for anyone. I'm monitoring everything."

She nodded, though he couldn't see her.

Suddenly… a shadow moved across the garden.

Her breath caught.

Footsteps. Soft, deliberate. Someone was trying to enter her home.

"Sasmita, stay behind the sofa!" Srikant's voice sounded urgent.

The doorbell rang.

She froze. Her hands were trembling.

A message popped up on her phone from an unknown number:

"It's too late… he can't save you now."

Her heart raced. Panic clawed at her chest.

Outside, three masked men tried to force the main door open. Sasmita's eyes widened.

Before she could react further, the window was smashed.

Glass flew across the room.

"Run!" Srikant's voice boomed.

She scrambled toward the balcony, but one of the intruders grabbed her arm. She screamed.

A flash of darkness. Strong hands lifted her. The masked men pulled her into a waiting van parked outside.

Sasmita struggled, but it was no use. Fear gripped her, and her mind went blank.

Inside the van, she tried to calm herself.

Her phone buzzed. A message from Srikant:

"Hold on. I'm coming. Don't fight them too hard. Stay alive."

Tears ran down her face. "Srikant… please…" she whispered.

The van sped through dark alleys. Sasmita peered outside. Streetlights flashed like strobe lights, blurring her vision.

And then… the van stopped.

She was dragged into a large, dimly lit warehouse. The doors closed behind her with a metallic clang.

Vikram stepped out of the shadows. Calm. Smirking. Confident.

"Welcome," he said. "I've been waiting for this moment for a long time."

Sasmita's heart pounded. "Why are you doing this?" she demanded.

Vikram's eyes gleamed. "Because the King thinks he can protect what's his. But nothing is his until it's proven."

Her mind raced. Fear, anger, and confusion tangled together.

"Where is Srikant?" she asked, voice trembling.

Vikram shrugged. "He's… far away. Trying to find you. But let's see… can he save you this time?"

Back in his car, Srikant's jaw was tight. He had tracked the van's location.

"Vikram," he muttered. "You just made this personal."

The SUV roared into the night. He moved with lethal precision, calculating every step.

"Tonight… no one will touch her," he growled, hands gripping the steering wheel. "Not him. Not anyone."

Inside the warehouse, Sasmita sat on the cold floor, eyes scanning every shadow.

Vikram circled her slowly. "You see, love makes people weak. But fear… fear shows their true colors."

"I'm not afraid of you!" she shouted, though her voice trembled.

Vikram smiled. "Not yet. But you will be… if he doesn't arrive in time."

Her heart thumped violently. She felt trapped, alone, and completely dependent on Srikant.

Suddenly, the warehouse doors exploded inward. A shadow moved faster than her eyes could follow.

Bullets fired. Men shouted. Chaos erupted.

Srikant stormed in. Every move precise, deadly, unstoppable. In moments, Vikram's men were neutralized.

He spotted Vikram, standing a few feet away, smirk fading.

"This ends tonight," Srikant growled.

Vikram raised his hands mockingly. "Do your worst, King. But remember… she's in my world now."

Sasmita's heart pounded as Srikant approached her. He held out his hand.

"Trust me," he whispered.

She didn't hesitate. She took it.

The battle between the Kings had begun.

And Sasmita realized… this was not just love. This was survival.

The Love Train had entered the darkest tunnel yet… and the next stop would change everything.
