Chapter 30 - Episode 30 – The Ultimate Kidnap

The night air was thick, heavy with tension. Every shadow seemed alive, every whisper of the wind carried danger.

Sasmita crouched behind her bedroom curtain, clutching the earpiece Srikant had given her. Her heart was pounding uncontrollably, her palms sweaty. She could hear distant footsteps outside, each one sharper, louder than the last.

Her phone buzzed. Unknown number.

"The Queen can't hide forever… tonight, she will make her choice."

Fear gripped her chest like an iron vice. She dialed Srikant immediately.

"Sasmita… stay calm. Lock every door. Don't open it for anyone. I'm tracking every movement outside. Follow my instructions exactly," Srikant's voice was calm but firm, sharp as a blade.

"I… I feel like he's right outside," she whispered.

"You're not alone. I'm on my way. But you must stay hidden. Trust me," he said.

Outside, a black SUV slid silently through the foggy streets. Masked men leapt out, moving toward her home with deadly precision. Their movements were coordinated, careful—this was no ordinary attack.

Srikant's voice came urgently through the earpiece:

"Stay behind the sofa. Don't move. I'll guide you out."

Sasmita pressed herself flat against the wall, barely breathing. The front door rattled violently as the masked men tried to force it open. Her pulse raced so fast, she felt it might burst from her chest.

From the roof, a drone hovered, its faint light revealing the silhouettes of the intruders. Srikant had anticipated every move, every angle.

"Do not panic. I'll get you out safely," he whispered.

Moments later, Srikant arrived, leaping from his SUV like a shadow. His eyes scanned the area. Within seconds, he neutralized two intruders silently, then moved to shield Sasmita from the rest.

Vikram emerged from the darkness, smirk fixed, eyes blazing with malicious intent.

"You think hiding her will save her?" he taunted. "She's mine to test."

Srikant's eyes darkened. His entire body radiated lethal precision.

"She's mine to protect. You won't touch her," he said firmly.

The battle erupted. Gunfire cracked the night. Shadows collided with chaos. Dust and smoke filled the streets. Srikant moved like a phantom, disarming Vikram's men while keeping Sasmita safe. Each strike he delivered was a promise—she would not be harmed.

"You love her too much," Vikram sneered, stepping closer. "And that love… will be your weakness."

"No," Srikant growled, stepping forward, voice low but deadly. "Love is my strength. And it will protect her—always."

Suddenly, a hidden explosive went off nearby. Smoke and debris filled the air. Sasmita pressed herself against Srikant, terror and adrenaline coursing through her veins.

"Stay close," he whispered. "Trust me. I'll handle this."

Vikram vanished into the shadows again, but this time he left a single warning message pinned to her door:

"Tonight… the Queen will face the King's world alone."

Sasmita trembled in Srikant's arms.

"I… I don't want to lose you," she whispered, voice shaking.

"You won't," he said firmly. "I promise. No one will ever touch you while I'm breathing."

Outside, Vikram retreated silently, plotting. His eyes glimmered with calculation, patience, and cruelty. He was determined to separate Srikant from Sasmita, no matter what.

Inside, Srikant held Sasmita tightly, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

"Once you're on this Love Train," he whispered softly, "there's no turning back. And love… is the only thing that will keep you alive."

Sasmita nodded, tears streaming, fear mixing with trust. She knew he was her protector, her king, her world.

The night stretched long and tense. Every shadow outside felt like a threat. Srikant's mind raced—Vikram was clever, ruthless, and patient. He would strike again, bolder and faster. But Srikant had a plan: a high-risk counterattack that could finally trap Vikram and end this nightmare.

Sasmita rested against him, shaking but trusting completely.

Suddenly, the sound of a motorbike approached from the alley. Two masked men jumped off, attempting to ambush them. Srikant acted instantly—one punch, one swift movement, and both men were incapacitated silently.

Vikram's voice came from the darkness: "You cannot stop me forever."

Srikant's eyes narrowed. "I will stop you. Always."

A flashbang exploded near the street, momentarily blinding everyone. Sasmita screamed, but Srikant grabbed her and threw her behind a wall. He moved with supernatural speed, disarming the attackers, protecting her at every turn.

In the chaos, he caught a glimpse of Vikram attempting to escape with a device in hand—something meant to track and manipulate Sasmita.

Without hesitation, Srikant ran after him, every step calculated, every movement precise. Vikram tried to fight back, but Srikant's strength and precision were unmatched.

Finally, Srikant cornered Vikram near an abandoned warehouse.

"This ends tonight," Srikant growled, his voice echoing through the foggy night. "Leave her alone… or face me."

Vikram smirked, but for the first time, a flicker of fear crossed his eyes.

Inside, Sasmita held her breath as she watched from a distance. The man she loved, the man she trusted, was facing death for her. Her heart ached and soared at the same time.

Seconds felt like hours. Then, Srikant's hand grabbed Vikram, twisting him to the ground.

"It's over," Srikant said, his voice low, lethal. "And as long as I breathe, no one will ever harm you."

Sasmita ran to him, collapsing into his arms, tears streaming freely.

"I… I was so scared," she whispered.

"I know," he said, holding her tightly. "But I'm here. And I always will be."

The streets were silent again. Vikram had been forced to retreat, defeated but alive, and the message was clear: the King protects his Queen at all costs.

The Love Train had passed through its most dangerous station yet, but the journey was far from over. The next stops promised even more danger, betrayal, and choices that would test their love, trust, and courage like never before.
