Eva winced, her scalp burning.
Still holding on to her hair, he flipped her and head smacked against the table. She gasped, her mouth wide open, but not a sound was made. For a moment, the world around her blurred.
"I will tame you tonight," he hissed, his grip on her hair tightening, "the man after me can thank me once I'm done," he spat.
Eva couldn't hear a word he said because of the ringing in her ear. His voice was rather amplifying the sound. For a while, all she could do was fight breath as the air left her lungs.
"You want to act coy after coming to a place like this?" the man continued. He pulled her over, letting her lay flat on top of the table, "Don't kid yourself thinking anyone will believe that act."
The words were slowly becoming comprehensible to Eva the more time passed, her vision also clearing. As the fog in her mind began to clear, Eva's hand moved, feeling wherever she could for anything to use for self-defense, but there was nothing.
