Chapter 6 - chapter 6: The Most Expensive Breakfast in the Multiverse

The world didn't just go dark for Elara and Mina; it shattered. The last thing they saw was a "Farmer" swatting a Supernova like a fly. When they finally opened their eyes, they weren't in the Abyss.

They were laying on silk sheets that felt like they were woven from the clouds of the Seventh Heaven.

"Oh, you're awake," a voice hummed.

Sakura (Zeno) walked in, holding two wooden bowls. The steam rising from the bowls didn't just smell like food—it smelled like creation. It was a simple vegetable porridge, but the grains were [Star-Falling Rice] and the broth was simmered with [Life-Essence Water].

"Eat up. You've been out for three hours. You're probably starving after all that... uh... cardio," Sakura said, scratching his cheek.

The sisters took a bite.

[Level Cap: SHATTERED.]

Elara (Level 180) felt her mana veins expand until they were the size of rivers. Mina (Level 210) felt her soul groan as her spirit-calling affinity evolved into [Primordial Command].

"This... this isn't food," Elara whispered, tears of pure joy streaming down her face. "This is a miracle. Is this what the Gods eat before they forge worlds?"

Sakura panicked internally. 'Oh no, they're crying. Is it too salty? I knew I shouldn't have used the salt from the Dead Sea. It's a bit too zesty for mortals!'

"Look," Sakura blurted out, his hands waving frantically. "I know it's not much! It's just some backyard veggies! Please don't sue me!"

He took a deep breath, trying to look like a professional employer, though inside he was screaming. 'Please stay. Please stay. If I have to pull one more mountain-sized weed by myself, I'm going to accidentally flip the continent over.'

"About the... uh... job," Sakura started, looking everywhere but at them. "I really need farmhands. I'll provide the food, the housing, and I'll make sure the Void Cultists don't turn you into soul-batteries. In exchange... you just... pull the weeds? Maybe talk to the cabbages so they don't grow teeth? Deal?"

The sisters looked at each other. They were Princesses. They were High Elves. But they were also looking at a man who fed them "Evolution" for breakfast.

"We accept," Elara said solemnly. "We shall serve the Great Sage."

"Great! Awesome! No more continent-flipping for me!" Sakura cheered, ushering them toward the door. "Come on, I'll introduce you to the livestock. They're very friendly. Mostly."

The moment the sisters stepped onto the porch, the air turned into lead.

[WARNING: DIVINE DOMAIN DETECTED]

A massive, golden-feathered bird was perched on the fence, its eyes glowing like twin suns. A heavy-set bull with horns made of obsidian stood by the barn, its breath coming out as literal thunderclouds. In the pond, shadows the size of warships moved beneath the surface.

To the world, these were an [Ancient Eternal Phoenix], a [World-Crushing Calamity Bull], and [Primordial Sea Dragons].

The animals turned as one, their combined killing intent focusing on the two Elven girls. 'Who are these ants? Why are they breathing the Master's air?'

Elara and Mina's knees buckled. Mina let out a tiny, high-pitched squeak. "S-sister... the chicken has three eyes and it's judging my entire lineage..."

The Phoenix opened its beak, a spark of Absolute Solar Flame dancing on its tongue. The Bull lowered its head, ready to charge with the force of a tectonic plate shift.

Elara and Mina's knees buckled. Their new Level 300+ senses were a curse—they could feel the sheer, unadulterated power of the "chickens." They were about to be erased by a sneeze.

Then, the screen door creaked.

"Hey, guys! Be nice to the new hires!" Sakura shouted, stepping out with a bag of grain.

[SILENCE.]

In a literal millisecond, the pressure vanished.

The Phoenix let out a pathetic "Cluck-cluck" and started pecking at a worm. The Calamity Bull let out a lazy "Moo" and went back to chewing grass. The Sea Dragons splashed playfully, looking like nothing more than oversized koi fish.

"See?" Sakura smiled, throwing a handful of grain at the Phoenix, which the bird caught with the grace of a legendary hunter disguised as a flightless idiot. "Total sweethearts."

"Th-that's... lovely," Elara choked out, watching the Sea Dragon blow a bubble that looked suspiciously like a concentrated mana bomb.

Elara and Mina stood frozen, their souls vibrating in their chests.

'He... he keeps the Rulers of the Three Realms as pets,' Elara thought, her mind finally snapping. 'And he expects us to weed the garden?'We're going to die. We're going to die of "natural causes" caused by a chicken.'
