Chapter 1: Room No. 304
I moved into the apartment because it was cheap.
The building was old and quiet.
Too quiet.
The landlord gave me the key and said,
"Your room is 303."
I asked him, "What about Room 304?"
He looked away.
"No one lives there," he said.
That night, I tried to sleep.
But at exactly 3:04 a.m.
I heard footsteps.
Slow… heavy footsteps.
They were coming from the room next to mine.
Room 304.
I sat up in bed, holding my breath.
The sound stopped.
Then I heard a soft knock on the wall.
Knock… knock… knock…
My phone showed the time again.
3:04 a.m.
I opened my door slowly and looked into the corridor.
The lights were flickering.
Room 304 was at the end of the hall.
Its door was closed.
But something was written on it.
In black.
"DO NOT OPEN."
I went back inside and locked my door.
My heart was beating fast.
When I turned around…
I saw something in my mirror.
Not my reflection.
Someone was standing behind me.
I screamed.
The mirror went dark.
And a voice whispered:
"You are living in my room."
