Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4 — THE PROPHECY OF FRACTURED TIME

Millions of years before the present era, when sin had reached its absolute peak and humanity stood on the brink of irreversible collapse, the Earth no longer resembled the world it once had been.

Cities burned endlessly, their flames so massive they reshaped the atmosphere itself. Rivers ran black with ash. Entire continents trembled under constant war, not between nations, but between ideologies that had abandoned morality altogether. Humanity had advanced technologically, but spiritually it had decayed into something unrecognizable.

Hope was considered weakness.

Compassion was treated as a disease.

Power alone defined truth.

Above this dying world, the sky remained permanently fractured, streaked with crimson lightning that never faded. Scientists later theorized that reality itself had begun destabilizing long before anyone realized it. The laws of physics had started bending under the weight of accumulated destruction.

Then came the day when the sky went completely silent.

No thunder.

No wind.

No sound at all.

Even the raging fires stopped moving, their flames frozen in midair as if trapped inside invisible glass.

From the center of the silent heavens emerged a presence so overwhelming that every living creature on Earth felt it simultaneously, regardless of distance.

Kalki Bhagwaan had arrived.

He did not descend gently. Reality folded around Him, unable to sustain the density of His existence. Darkness expanded outward, swallowing the burning sky until only a vast, endless void remained above the planet.

His eyes opened.

And every war stopped instantly.

Not out of obedience.

Out of terror.

Because deep within their souls, humanity understood that judgment had come.

At that time, the catastrophic interdimensional conflict known as the Kalki vs Kali War had already begun tearing apart the boundaries between realities. Forces beyond mortal perception clashed across planes of existence, sending shockwaves that manifested as disasters in the human world. The boundaries between universes weakened, bending under pressure like fragile glass.

Hidden beneath the chaos, a secret coalition of scientists, engineers, and forbidden mystics pursued a desperate plan.

They had calculated humanity's extinction probability.

It was nearly absolute.

The divine purge would not spare them.

So they chose rebellion.

If gods controlled time…

They would steal it.

Deep underground, shielded from divine perception by layers of experimental technology, they constructed a device unlike anything ever created. Its structure defied geometry, appearing different depending on the angle from which it was observed. Symbols from lost languages were engraved into its surface, glowing faintly with energy drawn from unstable dimensional fractures.

Animals refused to go near it.

Electronic systems malfunctioned within miles.

Clocks stopped functioning entirely.

They named it Chronic Null.

The machine meant to stop time itself.

When activation time arrived, none of its creators spoke. They understood the magnitude of what they were attempting.

This was not innovation.

It was defiance against existence.

The device powered on.

Energy surged upward in a silent pillar of distorted light.

And time… stopped.

Across the entire planet, motion ceased.

A bird frozen mid-flight above an ocean.

A collapsing building suspended between falling and impact.

Raindrops hanging in the air like scattered diamonds.

For one perfect, impossible second, humanity had stolen control from the universe.

Then the universe responded.

From deep space, an asteroid altered its trajectory without explanation, accelerating toward Earth at catastrophic speed. No gravitational force accounted for the change. It was as if reality itself had thrown a weapon.

Impact.

The collision obliterated the installation instantly.

But the greater catastrophe was not physical.

The damaged device released its stored energy outward in an uncontrolled burst that tore through the fabric of time like a blade through paper.

Timelines shattered.

Histories overlapped.

Parallel worlds collided violently, merging incompatible realities into unstable hybrid existences. In some regions, gravity reversed without warning. In others, time flowed backward for minutes before snapping forward again. Entire populations found themselves surrounded by landscapes that had never existed in their world.

Worst of all, the fractures opened ancient dimensional gates long sealed by divine power.Demon realms found pathways into the human universe.Creatures of nightmare poured through, evolving rapidly as they absorbed the chaotic energy saturating the planet. Unlike mindless monsters, these beings adapted with terrifying intelligence, studying humanity even as they destroyed it.

Extinction was no longer a possibility.

It was underway.

Kalki Bhagwaan moved.

With a single step across dimensions, He sealed thousands of ruptures simultaneously, stabilizing collapsing timelines faster than they could disintegrate. Demonic armies were annihilated by waves of power that erased not only their physical forms but the concept of their existence.

The creators of Chronos Null were judged.

Not executed.Removed from history itself.

Every trace of their lives vanished, leaving only unanswered questions behind.

Yet even divine power could not fully repair the damage. The barriers between universes had weakened permanently.Travel across realities had become possible.

And then the Three Supreme Gods manifested.

They did not appear as forms, but as presences so vast that reality bent inward simply to acknowledge them.

Their prophecy echoed across every universe at once.

When demons evolve beyond their primitive nature…

When they gain intelligence equal to humanity…When they learn to cross dimensions without assistance…

Two individuals will rise.

A boy who will erase love.

A girl who will preserve hope.

Their cooperation will decide the survival of all existence.

Then they were gone.Leaving behind a future already set into motion.

The Secret Room Beneath the Academy

Far below LOCK NO.1 ACADEMY, deeper than any training chamber or restricted archive, there existed a place known only to only 2 people.

A room that did not appear on maps.

A room that did not exist officially.

A room that watched.

Ancient books filled towering shelves carved from dark stone. Their pages were not paper but thin sheets of treated bark, metal, and materials that no longer existed in the modern world.

Strange instruments rested on long tables, some shaped like compasses, others like weapons, all humming faintly as if reacting to invisible forces.

But the most unsettling part of the room stood along the far wall.

Nine mirrors.

Each one different in size, shape, and design.

None reflected the room.

They reflected reality.

Anzhu stood alone before them, her calm expression illuminated by shifting lights from the glass surfaces. She had changed out of her academy uniform into a simple outfit, her hair loosely tied back, giving her an almost ordinary appearance.

Almost.

Mirror One — The World's Eye

The first mirror showed the entire planet.

Cities glowing in the night.

Storms moving across oceans.

Remote mountains buried under snow.

Every corner of the world visible at once, as if the mirror had replaced the sky itself.

Anzhu watched quietly, scanning for disturbances.

Everything looked peaceful.Too peaceful.

Mirror Nine — The Voice Without a Face

From the last mirror came a faint sound.

Not images.

Thoughts.

Fragments of a mind speaking without words.

"…why did time stop when I looked at her…"

"…I'll become strong enough…"

"…I don't want to be useless anymore…"

Anzhu's eyes softened for a brief moment.

She did not know whose thoughts these were.

But she had heard them many times before.

Tonight, they were louder.

More determined.

She turned away from the mirror as if pretending she had not been listening.

The One Who Knows

"You are becoming attached."

The voice came from the shadows behind her.

Anzhu didn't turn immediately.

An elderly man stepped forward into the dim light, his presence calm but heavy, like someone who had witnessed too much history to be surprised by anything anymore.

His eyes moved toward the ninth mirror.

"He is thinking about you constantly now."

Anzhu finally spoke.

"He is just confused."

"Confusion does not echo across realities," the man replied quietly.

Silence settled between them.

He had been observing Gaurav since the day he arrived at the academy. Testing, analyzing, comparing him to records of past prophecy candidates who had all failed one way or another.

Sometimes the boy showed impossible courage.Other times, unbelievable stupidity.

The man had not decided which one mattered more.

"Is he the one?" Anzhu asked.

"I don't know," he answered honestly."And that uncertainty is dangerous."

Meanwhile- the boy who chooses strength

Unaware of everything unfolding, Gaurav had spent the past month pushing himself beyond exhaustion.

He stopped caring about exams.About rankings.About what others said. There was only one goal now.Become strong enough to stand beside Anzhu.

He trained until his body stopped responding. Then trained more.

Universe shifting. Combat control. Energy stabilization. Techniques that once felt impossible slowly became instinct. Bruises layered over bruises. His hands were constantly bandaged. Sleep became optional.

Every time he thought of quitting, he remembered her voice."You're not weak."

That single sentence kept him moving.

Finally, after a month of relentless effort, he decided to show her.

Not for approval.

Not for praise.

Just to prove that her faith wasn't misplaced.

The Demonstration

He found Anzhu near one of the empty training fields at sunset.

"I learned it," he said, trying to sound calm and failing.

She glanced at him briefly, pretending indifference.

"Learned what?""Universe shifting."

She crossed her arms slightly.

"Show me."

Gaurav stepped back, took a deep breath, and began forming the complex hand signs required to bend space itself.

His movements were sharper now, more controlled, almost confident.

Almost.

For a fraction of a second, he made a mistake.

One incorrect sign.

Anzhu noticed immediately but said nothing.

"If he corrected himself, he would truly master it.If not…"

The final sign locked into place.

Space shattered.

Energy surged violently.

Before he could even process what was happening, his body was pulled forward and swallowed by the tear in reality.

Gone.

The field fell silent.

Anzhu stared at the empty space where he had stood.

Then slowly raised her hand toward the air he had vanished into.

"You idiot…" she whispered, though her voice carried no anger.

Only worry.

The Moment Everything Went Wrong

Anzhu went to that secret room to check whether Gaurav was safe or not.

She stood before the mirror.

Suddenly, Mirror One shifted violently.

The image of Earth disappeared.

In its place appeared a distortion of space — a tear between universes.

Anzhu stepped closer, eyes widening slightly.

"No…"

The man moved beside her, his expression darkening."What has he done?"

The distortion expanded, showing a distant reality filled with colossal structures and ancient energy signatures.

The Master Universe.

Understanding struck instantly.

"Anarth…" the man whispered.

"What should never have happened… has happened."

Anzhu turned to him sharply.

"Which universe is that?"

Her voice was colder now.

"The one from which no human has ever returned."

Her calm composure cracked for the first time.

"Then bring him back."

"I cannot."

"Why not?"

"Because the moment he entered that universe… he became part of its laws."

Silence.

Heavy.

Unforgiving.

"He will either evolve beyond recognition…" the man continued,"…or he will be erased."

Anzhu's hands tightened slightly at her sides.

For the first time since she entered the academy, she looked afraid.

The man closed his eyes.

"The prophecy has begun moving," he said quietly.

Anzhu did not respond.

She was still staring at the mirror, watching the tiny figure of a boy lying unconscious on an alien world.

For the first time in years, the strongest human in existence felt completely powerless.

That was The Master Universe…
