Chapter 117: CP9 Strikes – Robin & Vivi Captured, Merry Left Behind
The two days passed in the blink of an eye. That afternoon, while Nami, Vivi, and Robin were shopping on Water 7's bustling commercial street, they overheard local residents anxiously discussing disturbing news: the massive annual tsunami known as "Aqua Laguna" was arriving a full week early this year. People were already packing belongings and heading to high-ground shelters to ride out the storm.
Carrying this alarming information, the three hurried back to the Merry. Nami was about to discuss with everyone whether they should evacuate together when one of Franky's subordinates arrived panting, bringing exciting news: Franky had successfully acquired the Adam Wood and returned to the Franky Family—he was ready to begin building their new ship at any time.
"Great! Let's all go see him together—we can give Franky our detailed requests for the new ship in person," Nami suggested happily.
However, Vivi and Robin decided to join later. They first needed to organize the large pile of clothes they'd bought that afternoon. "Nami, you guys go ahead. Robin and I will come find you as soon as we finish sorting these clothes," Vivi explained.
Nami glanced at the mountain of shopping bags and nodded understandingly. But she still worried that without her supervision, Luffy and the others might add some bizarre design to the new ship. "Then I'm counting on you two, Vivi, Robin," she said, then added anxiously, "Hurry over, okay? I can't control Luffy and the others' wild ideas."
Watching Luffy's group walk away, Vivi gently patted Karoo beside her: "Stay on deck and watch the ship for a bit. We'll come out as soon as we finish packing."
Karoo gave a proud "quack" and began strutting back and forth on deck like a diligent sentry. Vivi and Robin exchanged smiles and returned to their room.
When they opened the afternoon's haul, an array of dazzling clothes instantly covered the bed. Robin's sharp eyes spotted an extremely provocative black bunny-girl outfit. A playful glint flashed in her eyes as she picked it up: "Ara ara~ I never expected our navigator to be so bold."
Vivi's face instantly turned as red as a ripe apple: "Robin-neesan! Put that down quick—it's too embarrassing!" Even as she protested, she couldn't resist leaning closer. Soon she was giggling mischievously too: "So that's what Nami sneakily bought at the end… no wonder she was so secretive…"
"Hehe," Robin elegantly folded a lacy nightgown. "Looks like Sol's sneaky request last time was for this." She smiled knowingly and began neatly organizing the blush-inducing garments.

Meanwhile, halfway down the street, Nami's expression suddenly changed. She clapped a hand over her mouth in panic—she had just remembered those "special" purchases were still spread out openly in the room!
The thought that her two sisters might have already discovered her little secret filled Nami with mortified fury. She leaned close to Sol and viciously pinched his side.
"Ow!" Caught completely off guard, Sol jumped in pain. "What was that for, Nami?! So heavy-handed all of a sudden!"
Nami's face was bright red; she hissed into his ear through gritted teeth: "This is all your fault! Now Vivi and Robin have definitely seen everything… I'm mortified!"
Sol rubbed his aching waist, grimacing at first—then grinned mischievously: "It's fine—they won't say anything. Besides… you'll only wear them for me in the end, right?"
Nami was about to scold him more when Luffy's loud voice rang out ahead: "Hey, Sol! Nami! What are you two dawdling for?! Hurry up and catch up!"
Seizing the moment, Sol grabbed Nami's hand and ran laughing toward the group: "Coming, coming!"
Just as they stepped off the Merry and cheerfully walked onto the dock, everything changed in an instant—
A strange "creak" sounded in the air, as though an invisible door had been forced open. In Vivi's shocked gaze, several figures appeared in a flash! Kalifa moved like a phantom, snapping Sea Prism Stone cuffs around Robin's wrists in the blink of an eye.
"Ugh…" Robin immediately lost all strength and collapsed softly to the ground.
"Who are you?! What do you want?!" Vivi cried out, instantly bending down to help Robin.
"Princess Vivi of Alabasta…" Kalifa adjusted her glasses, lifting the weakened Robin with one hand. "Intelligence said you were 'kidnapped' by the Straw Hat Pirates… but it seems you're getting along quite well with them."
"Take them both, Blueno." Lucci gave the cold order.
Blueno immediately lunged toward Vivi, his large hand reaching out. Vivi reacted extremely quickly—her body flowed like paper, narrowly evading capture using "Paper Art"!
"Quack!" Karoo activated "Shave" in an instant, turning into a yellow blur as he scooped Vivi onto his back. Animal instinct told him the man with the pigeon on his shoulder radiated extreme danger. He had to get Vivi to Luffy and Sol immediately!
"Hey hey, did I see that right? A princess who can use 'Paper Art'—and a big yellow duck that can 'Shave'?" Kaku watched the fleeing pair disappear and couldn't help laughing.
"Escape is pointless before the Door-Door Fruit." Blueno said expressionlessly, raising his hand to open an invisible door in the air and stepping through.
Vivi clung to Karoo's back, urging him to go faster—only to be horrified as the scenery suddenly became familiar again. They were back where they started! Behind them, an air door slowly vanished as Blueno calmly stepped out.
"Surprised, Princess Vivi?" Blueno said calmly. "I am a Door-Door Fruit user. What just happened was a simple trick—I merely opened a door… and the other side happened to be your starting point."
In an instant, Vivi—who had tried to resist—was effortlessly subdued by Blueno's expert hand-to-hand technique. A matching pair of Sea Prism Stone cuffs snapped around her wrists. Karoo struggled desperately but was quickly bound tightly with rope, only able to let out anxious "quack quack" cries.
"Mission complete. Now—we pay a visit to Franky," Lucci said expressionlessly, tone as cold as ice. He turned first and stepped through the air door Blueno had opened.
Kalifa adjusted her glasses and followed, carrying the weakened Robin. Kaku casually hoisted the bound Vivi over his shoulder, while Blueno picked up the tied-up Karoo. After one last scan of the quiet dock, he too entered the door.
As the air door closed silently, the space returned to normal. A gentle breeze blew across the dock—as though nothing had happened. Only the Merry remained quietly moored, silently witnessing the sudden disappearance of her crewmates.
