The city hearts were filled with happiness as the morning of the second week arrived. Those who barely ate rejoiced. Those who worked rejoiced, those who owned still rejoiced, as today marked the beginning of the school session. With the start of school, other businesses knew now was the most perfect time to open their business.
The outside air was moderately humid. Just by seven in the morning, the sun already took its rightful place in the sky. The heat grew tuff, blasting through Febia's window and inevitably, waking her from bed.
Throughout yesterday night, Febia had been worked to tiredness, but not physically. It was mentally. The idea that Phoenix could prepare a new house in half a day and on that same day, pack into that same place was nothing short of overwhelming. 'Well, they are Adna's.'
Similar to Febia, Moonlight spent the night with his eyes opened. Not thinking, but rather too bored to even think, sleep or do anything else. As usual, the rowl was seated atop his head, while wrapping its tail around Moonlight's neck, clinging to him like a soft pillow.
He had taken his bath early on due to personal reasons. He did not visit the dining for breakfast, as Febia brought it directly to him. After getting his belly full, he opened his cupboard and picked the first arranged cloth he saw. Despite the heat, he wore a gray long-sleeve and topped it with a blue t-shirt.
Looking physically prepared, he walked out the room, looking like someone with a casual wardrobe when he realistically was not. His dark hair was combed to the neck, his cloth perfectly fitting his height of 140cm and his dark complexion said he was not prepared for school at all.
"Wow…"
Rab seemed to stay as by the time he dropped them off, night had reached. With a plea from Febia, Phoenix let him stay the night.
"Don't 'wow' him, your stay is just so he would arrive early. Don't overuse it."
Febia immediately cut in, shifting the atmosphere to an undesirable phase.
"Loo…"
Rab intended to yell, but on seeing Phoenix's frame, he controlled himself. He silently clenched his fist, staring at Febia with an eye that thirsted for death. He gave a smile, a smile that contained so many negative thoughts that would make one think twice about Rab's character.
"Looks like you're awake. Are you prepared to leave?" Phoenix asked.
"Yes Ma!" Rab immediately replied, instinctively bowing his head.
Febia giggled at the sight, silently mocking him, "I guess as a rider, you gained a special sense to threats."
Therefore, Rab glared at her while his head was still lowered. Febia raised her voice even more, enjoying the little drama she was seeing.
Phoenix walked over to Moonlight with a dramatic walk. She turned her eyes to Rab and muttered, "Go," Rab cleared the scene immediately and could be seen sprinting down the stairs.
"Ha ha! I haven't laughed this much since forever!" Febia said out loud, her mouth still wide opened. Then she paused, or rather froze as Phoenix walked past her. Her lips curled upwards as she knew each time they interact, something interesting would happen.
Moonlight stood there, he watched Rab behave, Febia bursting in laughter for no reason and now, he is watching his mother place her hands on his shoulder. Behind her, he could feel some sort of heavy feeling that wasn't there naturally.
She went on one knee and pressed Moonlight to her face. Her gaze shifted periodically that her warm breath passed through Moonlight like a reassuring fragrance. Febia shook her head, no longer hiding the anticipation in her eyes. 'Ah, that mother-son drama…'
"Moonlight," Phoenix began. Febia pulled her ears to listen.
"I want you to listen to me. No, I want to beg you. Please, no matter what happens. Even if it bores you, bear it."
"Huh?" added Febia and Moonlight in unison.
Phoenix looked around and quickly stood up, releasing Moonlight from her grasp. "You see, I know a certain Adna who does unreasonable things because she was bored. In fact, going to school was so boring for me that I gained pleasure in helping those she tormented."
Slightly confused, Febia's eyes squinted, "Uh huh…"
To add to the confusion, Febia folded her arms and leaned towards the wall. "I see." 'Here I thought I would see some morning drama. I guess Adna's truly are unpredictable.'
On the other hand, Moonlight could see himself doing something crazy because he was bored. The fact that the concept of Elro would never have crossed his mind if he was never bored enough to clear an entire library in less than a… "Okay, I won't." Moonlight said.
Phoenix breathe a sigh of relief as she saw she wasn't alone on the topic. She hugged and gave Moonlight a smile filled with affections. Febia couldn't help but be overwhelmed by that smile, even though she wasn't the receiver. "Then Goodbye."
Meanwhile outside, Rab waited patiently.
The sights before him fascinated him, "I thought that was big but damn, this is much bigger than I expected." Rab's carriage was placed at the front of the mansion, his readied horses made little grunts signaling their all ready. 'Let me just rest my head, I did not sleep well last night.'
Just then, Moonlight walked out the mansion with Phoenix and Febia in tow. Febia's little chatter woke Rab up. Therefore, he instinctively held the reins on his beloved steeds. "Ma'am I'm ready for departure."
Moonlight entered the carriage and immediately took his seat near the window side.
"Sorry for the quick call last night. You are to drop Moonlight at Beginner Academy. You don't have to worry about the going and coming. Once he sees it once, he would be able to come back himself." Phoenix said to Rab.
"Moonlight, come back yourself. Okay?"
Moonlight nodded.
Furthermore, Phoenix gave Rab a signal and with a hardworking neigh, they set off. The gates opened automatically, showing them outside.
