Karl reacted immediately.
Turning toward Adelyn, he asked without hesitation, "Sister-in-law, can we join in?"
Adelyn glanced in their direction —and instantly felt as though she had been placed in an incredibly difficult position.
These were the princes of the Warren family.
And yet … they were asking her for permission to enter their own brother's house.
Wasn't that, in itself, a silent humiliation?
Her brows drew together faintly as she turned to look at Dylan —only to find him already watching her, his gaze steady, as if patiently waiting for her answer.
Was that really necessary?
"You can choose," he said calmly.
And his words only stunned her further.
Choose what?
Whether to let them stay … or turn them away?
This man was definitely doing this on purpose.
