He didn't believe her.
Shion curved her lips into a playful smile and leaned close again, whispering softly.
"Actually… he can't do it."
Kaien froze.
Then confusion filled his face.
"What do you mean?"
For some reason, Kaien wanted to believe her.
Because if what she said was true, wouldn't that mean Naruto would never be able to touch Hinata?
Was Hinata… truly his alone?
"I'm telling you the truth," Shion said softly. "Do you know who I am? I'm a Miko. I placed a curse on him."
Her lips parted slightly as she licked them seductively.
"If he dared to betray me for another woman and then came to find me on his wedding day, he would completely lose his ability to perform."
"Now…" She smiled faintly. "Not only is Hinata your woman, but I am entirely yours too."

Kaien sucked in a sharp breath, his gaze toward Shion completely changing.

"Why are you doing this?" Kaien asked coldly. "Is it really just for revenge?"

Shion shook her head gently, "It's not revenge. I'm a Miko. I can see the future."
"Come," she said calmly, turning around. "We'll talk as we walk."
Kaien hesitated for a moment—then followed her.
