Huan watched Kaien and Shion walk out of the fitting room together.
Seeing the faint blush and quiet happiness on Shion's small face, Sister Huan felt an inexplicable surge of envy.
She also wanted to go shopping with Kiba. She also wanted to look that happy.
After stepping out, Kaien nodded gently to Huan, then wrapped his arm around Shion's waist and walked toward the cashier.
"Hello, could you please pack this dress for me?" Kaien said politely.
"Certainly, sir!"
The cashier quickly began packing the dress.
Shion nestled happily into Kaien's embrace. After what had happened in the fitting room, she could clearly feel the change in him.
He had truly accepted her now.
"Kaien, I want to look at more clothes," Shion said, tilting her head up at him.
"Of course. Let's keep looking. Whatever you like, we'll buy it."
Kaien smiled indulgently.
Shion nodded and continued browsing.
Soon after, Huan also stepped out of the fitting room.
"Hello, could you pack this dress for me?" she said to the cashier.
"Certainly!"
"How much is it?"
"Miss, that gentleman has already paid for your dress."
The cashier pointed toward Kaien, who was standing nearby with Shion.
Huan froze. She accepted the bag slowly, then walked over.
"Kaien, why did you pay for me?"
"Sister Huan, Kiba trained with me all morning. Because of that, he missed shopping with you. Think of this dress as my apology."
Kaien scratched his head with a smile.
"No, I can't accept that. How much was it? I'll pay you back."
"Sister Huan, please don't be so polite. It's just a gift. It wasn't expensive—just a few hundred yuan."
"You…" She hesitated.
"It was my idea," Shion added with a gentle smile. "Kiba helps Kaien a lot. It's only fair that we treat you."
Seeing their sincerity, Huan finally nodded.
"Then… thank you."
"Sister Huan, are you shopping alone? Why don't we go together?" Shion suggested warmly.
"This… I don't want to disturb you two."
"It's fine! Let's go together. Kaien, right?"
"Of course. Sister Huan, let's shop and chat."
Kaien had been wondering how to approach her and complete his system mission. Shion had just created the perfect opportunity.
"Alright then."
The three of them continued through the mall.
At first, Huan was reserved. But under Shion's lively conversation, the two women soon began chatting like close friends.
Kaien followed beside them, occasionally chiming in.
By evening, they found a barbecue restaurant and sat down to eat.
"Sister Huan, what would you like?" Shion asked.
"Anything is fine. I'm not picky."
After ordering, Shion handed over the menu.
"I'm going to the restroom."
She gave Kaien a subtle look before walking away.
Kaien understood and followed her.
Inside the restroom corridor, Shion pulled him aside.
"Do you want to pursue Sister Huan?" she asked directly, her arms looping lightly around his neck.
Kaien stiffened slightly.
"Well…"
"Hmph. I told you before, as long as you don't abandon me, I'll support what you choose."
She smiled faintly and kissed him first.
Caught off guard, Kaien deepened the kiss, holding her slender waist.
After a moment, they separated.
"How about I help you?" Shion asked softly.
"Help me? How?"
She leaned closer and whispered something mischievous in his ear.
Kaien hesitated.
"That might not be appropriate…"
"You're right," she admitted after a second. "That could backfire. Forget that idea. But don't worry—I'll still help you in my own way."
Kaien looked at her, moved by her willingness.
"You're too good to me."
"Then I'll be even better."
She kissed him once more before they returned.
Back at the table, Shion subtly shifted the topic toward relationships.
She spoke lightly about how attentive Kaien was, how he treated her, how dependable he could be.
Under her gentle guidance, Huan began mentioning Kiba's flaws—his impulsiveness, his focus on missions over her.
Shion skillfully reframed the discussion, creating subtle comparisons.
Gradually, Huan's expression softened, though envy flickered in her eyes as she observed the intimacy between Kaien and Shion.
After dinner, they stepped out of the restaurant.
"Sister Huan, let's hang out again tomorrow if you're free!" Shion said cheerfully.
"Okay!" Huan agreed without hesitation.

Comforting didn't necessarily mean saying comforting words.
It simply meant easing her mood—making sure she didn't feel hurt because Kiba had left her for a mission.
