The world went white at the edges.
Laurana's mouth was hot. Impossibly hot. The thermal regulation pushing warmth into every movement of her tongue, every application of pressure, every inch she took deeper.
I reached for her hair. Tangled my fingers in the wine-red strands. Felt the heat radiating from her scalp.
"More."
The word came from somewhere deep in my chest. From the part of me that had been reaching for connections since I arrived in this body. The part that understood, on some fundamental level, that this was what I was made for.
Laurana gave me more.
Her head moved faster. Her hand worked what her mouth couldn't reach. The thermal regulation built until I could feel it crackling against my skin.
"I'm close."
She pulled back. Looked up at me with swollen lips and flushed cheeks and eyes that burned like embers.
"Not yet."
She stood. Reached behind her. Unzipped the pencil skirt. Let it fall to the floor.
