Chapter 66 - Chapter 66.

The demonic nation of Solstice functions much like any conventional kingdom, populated by demon beings. With the Demon Queen's return, the Night Crawler has also resurfaced, following her to her kingdom.

Unbeknownst to the Demon Queen, the Night Crawler lurks within Solstice, feeding on the demonic energy of its inhabitants. Consequently, numerous demon beings have progressively lost their demonic essence, transforming into human-like entities. For temporary period of time !

Demons deprived of their Demonic energy increasingly resemble humans in physical strength, distinguishable only by their demonic appearance.

Upon absorbing a sufficient amount of Demonic energy, the Night Crawler undergoes an evolution, transforming into a vibrant creature.

Its appearance shifts from a dark, glowing form to an orange-brown body adorned with black stripes, now entirely covered in bladed fur.

The creature's body, covered in bladed fur, rippled like grass swaying in the wind. Each movement produced a distinct "zing, zing, zing" as the blades shifted.

The Night Crawler specifically targeted those with depleted Demonic energy, attacking them to consume their bodies, slicing and devouring them instantly.

This brutal assault threw the demonic beings into disarray, compelling many to flee for their lives in panic.

The devastation is substantial, yet the kingdom's vastness prevents the immediate dissemination of information.

Despite the Night Crawler's destructive actions—eliminating demons, consuming their flesh, and splattering buildings and footpaths dark red with their blood—the Demon Queen remains unaware of the ongoing incident.

In response to the Night Crawler's attacks, some units of demonic soldiers, who happened to be nearby the incident, have gone on their own to confront the threat.

Demonic soldiers encircled the Night Crawler, launching a coordinated ambush. Their assault focused on its limbs, aiming to sever them and subdue the creature. However, upon impact, their attacks proved ineffectual.

A wave of panic swept through the demonic soldiers, as doubt regarding their ability to defeat the creature emerged.

Their faces betrayed palpable tension, and their movements indicated a slow, hesitant retreat rather than a continued offensive. Nevertheless, the Night Crawler was unwilling to allow its prey to escape.

The Night Crawler launched an assault on the Demonic soldiers, sending several hurtling through buildings and crushing others beneath its formidable paws.

The beast even consumed the armor alongside the soldiers' bodies.

This terrifying spectacle rendered some Demonic beings completely motionless, frozen in place. The destruction persisted for merely half an hour, after which the Night Crawler departed from the kingdom of Solstice.

The Kingdom of Solstice sustained significant damage, affecting only 5% of its territory. Upon receiving news of this vulnerability, the neighboring Azure Kingdom, a historical rival, resolved to launch an attack.

However, as the Azure Kingdom prepared its offensive, the same Night Crawler materialized within its borders, traversing its streets before ultimately settling in a meadow, inside the kingdom. The Azure Kingdom is renowned for its mastery of light magic.

Upon identification of the Night Crawler by an intelligence operative, the king was immediately apprised of the situation. The news of the Night Crawler's rampage at Solstice caused considerable distress for the King of Azure, who expressed apprehension regarding its subsequent actions.

Given its colossal size and its recent destructive engagement in a rival nation, the beast's presence within the Azure Kingdom's borders raised significant concerns about potential further harm.

The King of the Azure Kingdom, having aborted the planned attack on the nation of Solstice, immediately sought a strategy to eliminate the Night Crawler, which was currently in a state of rest.

A kingdom advisor proposed employing a teleportation spell on the beast during its slumber, assuring the availability of the appropriate incantation for such an undertaking.

Consequently, the King commanded his mages to execute the teleportation of the beast without delay.

They immediately cast the spell on the Night Crawler, banishing it back to the Forbidden Forest, its place of origin. With the spell's success, the King felt a profound sense of relief and completely abandoned the notion of attacking the Kingdom of Solstice.

Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Azure, a 17-year-old female sat in the library, engrossed in a book that detailed the evolved form of the Night Crawler. The text described it as a creature that had single-handedly devastated numerous kingdoms, leaving countless beings struggling for survival, with few managing to escape its clutches once encountered.

The evolved Night Crawler, known as Vakh, is entwined with the history of the kingdom of Atlanta. This kingdom is situated amidst a vast desert, where only sand stretches as far as the eye can see.

Vakh manifested in Atlanta and initiated a relentless slaughter, claiming lives in rapid succession.

The bloodshed continued unabated, as Atlanta possessed no warrior capable of challenging such an exceptionally powerful creature.

Overjoyed by the subjugation of Atlanta's populace, the Vakh commenced a grotesque dance on all fours, executing comical leaps as it reveled in the systematic slaughter of the kingdom's inhabitants.

Chroniclers of this horrific spectacle vividly depicted a creature not merely terrifying, but profoundly sated, delighting in its gruesome feast. With each forceful impact of its paws upon the earth, a potent earthquake periodically erupted.

Those who witnessed the creature from afar were gripped by fear, contemplating if they would be its next victims.

As these thoughts consumed them, their heartbeats quickened, they began to perspire, their throats became parched, and they experienced a sensation of breathlessness.

However, the kingdom of Atlanta ultimately provided sufficient sustenance for Vakh, which departed after thoroughly devastating the kingdom.
