10 years have passed since a young man who died in an accident was now in the Slums, with no recollection of his past memories or why he is there, all he knows is that he remembers his name..

The man who had been dead for nearly 10 years, had wandered into the deep dark Slums in search of his purpose, however, he is in pain and agony as some of his memories surface his mind, he sees a girl who he once knew but could never be his, his family he despised since childhood, and most of all, his Death, who killed him is a mystery that has intrigued Jerry, so he continued to follow the signs around him, leading him out of the slums, he teleports to a Gravesite, where he sees his old decaying body, he digs it up and recollects his memories that he was a young estranged man who was an aspiring Artist, but failed in life as he was entangled to gangs who ruined his previous life. But soon becomes bitter as he remembers the Girl who couldn't be his.. still, he ignored it and heard someone approach him, it was an Old man wearing a hat and outfit similar to a Cowboy, the old man tells Jerry that he is just a rancher, herding his barn, but he also warns that that he is the "Next One", those words confused Jerry and he asked the old man
" What do you mean next one? Who are you old man ? Speak up? "
The old man, smoking his pot gave in and said:
" You are the Darkness incarnation, a new aberration, an Abstract... you are.. Vestige, reborn as an Abstract being of Darkness, a demon if you can call it that.. or rather, a Ghostly man who came back from the dead".
What? What do you mean? Jerry asked with suspicion and caution as he was Very skeptical of the old man's words, however, he didn't question it enough and asked for his name
" What are you? Why are you telling me this? What is your name? "
The old man chucked and picked up his shovel as he turned around and began to walk off to his house.
"The name's Kewok kid, please, come inside with me, I need to show you something"
Jerry was hesitant to follow this mysterious old man, but his gut instinct tells him that he needs some answers and maybe the old man Kewok can help him solve this phenomenon..
Moments later, he comes into the shed and Kewok shows him his old collection of weapons that looks distinctly from the 18th century as it would seem he was a Gunslinger of that era, still, it fascinated Jerry or Vestige due to how many guns there were, and then he noticed a giant Tomahawk in the middle, and kewok also noticed and told him that Tomahawk was very special to him because it belonged to his father, after realizing this, Jerry came to the conclusion that Kewok was Native? Why didn't surprise him, as he was inspecting the weapons, Kewok gave him a jacket and said to him this:
Jerry, I know that this must be troubling for you since you just came back up from the dead, but I must warn you that Darkness spreads everywhere around this earth, and that demons will soon come after you, well, that is to say that they also were after me cus I too was just like that"
Jerry, who was confused but said in a thoughtful manner:
"What do you mean by that? We're you also.. like this?"
Kewok nodded his head and told him:
Yes, I was very much like you, I was a Vestige back in the old days of the wild west, back when it was a chaotic era of Gunslinging and scalping other Indians heads off, but I don't want to dwell on the past too much, but I want to ask you, why did you return? What was your reason?"
Jerry responded quickly to that answer:
"I don't know, all I can remember is that I died in a Fire, and that I only came back because I wanted to complete something that was left unfinished"
"Kewok understood his reasoning and told him to head to the City near the slums to look for answers and he shall receive it"
So as Kewok told Jerry to head into theCity, he gave him a final say:
"Its best to keep ya head up just in case you get blasted at and remember, you are a Vestige now, your old name, as much as you are to be attached of, is long gone, you gon have no choice but to stick with who you are"
Vestige nodded and told him to not worry and that he will return again soon, kewok just walked back with his cane and into his house near the church.
So as Vestige teleports into the Slums section again, he hears screams and voices all around him, he immediately heads to the area and finds a girl being attacked by a group of thugs, he approaches and them and kills them in an instant, but then the girl who was screaming was not a human, but a Demon like vampire who took advantage of the situation and Vestige took that with a grain of salt as this would be his first encounter with a supernatural enemy of similar prowess.
