The helicopter landed at Kaiba Land's dedicated helipad. When everyone stepped out, the main entrance of Kaiba Land stood right before them.
"Everyone, come on in. This is the main entrance. The shopping mall is inside," Mokuba said.
Joey walked while looking all around, nearly bumping straight into a bronze statue of Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
"Whoa! There it is! I knew they'd have one!" Joey shouted.
"What are you doing, Joey? If you don't keep up, we're leaving you behind!" Mokuba said.
Everyone entered the entertainment area. Quite a few children were already playing there.
"Wow, people are here already?" Téa said.
"Today is the free preview day before the official opening, so you can all play as much as you want!" Mokuba said.
"Awesome! I'm gonna ride every screaming machine in this place!" Joey said excitedly.
"Yeah!" Tristan answered in kind.
"Honestly, you two are so childish," Téa said helplessly.
Eventually, they arrived at a dome-shaped venue.
"Blue-Eyes White Dragon Dome?" Yugi read aloud.
"Ugh, Kaiba's doing it again. Did he really need to take it this far?" Kisaragi said.
They entered the dome, where children were already dueling.
"That over there is the main Duel Stage. The duels held there will be broadcast all over the world," Mokuba said, pointing to the only Duel Machine in the venue.
"Aside from Big Sis Kisaragi, the rest of you had better not embarrass yourselves too badly," Mokuba added.
"Mad Dog of Darkness, attack Blade Knight!" a child on the Duel Machine declared.
"At this moment, I activate the Quick-Play Spell Card Scapegoat!" the duel computer announced.
"Why activate Scapegoat now? I end my turn!"
"What's wrong with that computer? Does it really know how to duel?" Joey said.
"The remaining face-down card is the setup," Yugi said.
"Exactly. It's probably DNA Surgery," Kisaragi said.
"My turn. Draw. I activate the Continuous Trap Card DNA Surgery. As long as this card remains on the field, all monsters on the field become the Type I declare. I choose Dragon!"
"Then I activate Polymerization from my hand!" the computer announced.
"It's fusing all the monsters?"
"Could it be?" Yugi said.
"That's right. Five-Headed Dragon," Kisara said.
"I fuse the five Dragon monsters on the field. Fusion Summon, Five-Headed Dragon!"

"Seriously? It's just a computer, but it can use advanced tactics like that?" Joey said.
"Ha ha, surprised? This computer has card data from all kinds of duelists loaded into it. Of course, that includes Big Brother, Big Sis Kisaragi, and Yugi's data. Even Joey's data is in there," Mokuba said.
"But if the computer is that strong, won't it be really hard to beat?" Téa asked.
"You don't need to worry about that. Its difficulty can be adjusted, so beginners can enjoy dueling too. It's one of Kaiba Land's signature attractions," Mokuba said.

The child climbed down from the Duel Machine, looking disappointed.
"Ah! It's Duel King Aoi Kisaragi!"

"So cool! Is that really her in person?"
"And there's runner-up Yugi Muto, plus American champion Rebecca!"
A crowd of children immediately ran over and surrounded Kisaragi.

Kisaragi, Yugi, and Rebecca busied themselves signing autographs, leaving Joey feeling a little sour.
"I was a Battle City semifinalist too, you know," Joey muttered.
"Big Sis Kisaragi, please help me look at my deck."
A young boy rushed forward.
"I keep losing, so I was hoping Duel King Aoi Kisaragi could help me check my deck."
Kisaragi accepted the deck, only to find that it was filled entirely with Dragon monsters.
"You really like Dragon monsters, don't you?" Kisaragi asked.
"Of course! Big Sis Kisaragi, you're my idol. After seeing you use a Blue-Eyes White Dragon deck, I collected lots of Dragon monsters too."
"I understand that you like Dragons, but the balance of your deck is poor," Rebecca said.
"That's all right. Here, take this card."
Yugi stepped forward and handed the boy a copy of Heart of the Underdog.
"This card may give you strength," Yugi said.
"Really?"
"You can trust Yugi. He wouldn't lie to you," Kisara said.
"Okay, then I want to try it!"
After saying that, the boy prepared to climb onto the Duel Machine.
"Please wait a moment!"
Kisaragi stopped the boy from getting onto the machine, because she knew something major was about to happen.
"Could you let me use the Duel Machine instead? How about I show you all one of my duels?" Kisaragi said.
"Sure! Getting to watch the Duel King duel up close is awesome!"
"Yeah, I want to see the Duel King's duel up close too!"
With everyone's support, Kisaragi stepped onto the Duel Machine.
"I didn't expect Kisaragi to want to try this machine," Joey said.
"But for Kisaragi, this is basically the same as winning already," Téa said.
"Then I'll set the difficulty to maximum," Kisaragi said.
"Is it coming?" Kisara thought.
Suddenly, all the lights in the venue went out, and every entrance and exit slammed shut.
"Damn it, what's going on?!" Mokuba said, adjusting the equipment.
"Let me take a look!"
Rebecca walked over, took out her computer, and connected it to the machine to check the system.
"How is it?"
"No good. The program has been locked. Every system is connected to this Duel Computer now. Unless we defeat the Duel Computer, the doors won't open!" Rebecca said.
"How could something like this happen? That's a computer for dueling. It shouldn't have anything to do with the facility management system!" Mokuba said.
"Someone probably hacked in from the outside and rewrote the program."
"Then let's smash the computer!" Joey said.
"Right, I'll do it!" Tristan said eagerly.
"Wait. If you really smash it, we may never get out of here!" Duke said.
"Then what are we supposed to do?" Joey asked.
"As long as we beat the Duel Computer, we can get out," Rebecca said.
"So if we can't beat the computer, none of us can leave?" Téa said.
"What are you all panicking for?" Kisaragi said. "The computer may be set to maximum difficulty, but I'm not that easy to defeat."
"That's right. Kisaragi is the one dueling right now. We know her strength better than anyone. Even if it's a max-level computer, we have complete faith that she'll win," Joey said.
"Then let me see just what this machine's maximum difficulty is really like."
