Chapter 29 - The Fugitive Heart

The apartment door rattled under the pounding fists of the police.

"Open up! Seoul Metropolitan Police! We have a warrant!"

Ji-eun's hand flew to her mouth. The silk slip she wore offered no armor—nipples hard against the fabric, thighs still slick from the family's desperate celebration only minutes ago. Her belly, now visibly rounded at five months, rose and fell with panicked breaths. The baby kicked—hard—as if it knew danger was at the door.

Dad moved first. Grabbed his phone.

"Lawyer. Now."

Min-jae was already at the window—curtain pulled back just enough to see squad cars blocking the street below, lights flashing blue and red across the rain-slicked pavement.

"They've got the building surrounded."

Yumi stood frozen in the hallway, hoodie pulled tight, tears streaming.

"Oppa… what do we do?"

Ji-eun's voice cut through the panic—low, steady, maternal.

"We don't run yet. We buy time."

She walked to the door. Opened it just a crack—chain still on.

"Inspector Park?"

The detective from earlier stood there—same tired eyes, same clipboard.

"Mrs. Kim. Step aside. We need to take you all in."

Ji-eun didn't budge.

"You said you'd delay. You said you'd help."

Park's jaw tightened.

"I tried. But the commissioner overruled me. The videos went viral. Public pressure. We have to act."

Dad appeared behind Ji-eun. Voice calm but lethal.

"You took our bribe. You fucked my wife in front of us. And now you're here to arrest us?"

Park's face flushed.

"I delayed as long as I could. But the new leak—the raw audio from the doctor's office—changed everything. The paternity confession is everywhere. We can't ignore it."

Ji-eun's hand went to her belly again.

"My baby… they'll take him from me."

Park looked down—almost guilty.

"I'm sorry. But the law—"

Min-jae pushed forward.

"The law can go fuck itself. You're not taking my mother. Or my child."

Park sighed.

"Stand aside, son. Or we come in by force."

Ji-eun turned to her family. Eyes shining with tears but fierce.

"Go. Through the service exit. I'll hold them."

Dad shook his head.

"No."

Ji-eun kissed him—quick, fierce.

"I'll be fine. They won't hurt a pregnant woman. Take Yumi and Min-jae. Get out. I'll meet you at the safe house."

Min-jae grabbed her arm.

"I'm not leaving you."

Ji-eun cupped his face. Kissed him—deep, desperate, tongue sliding against his.

"You have to. For the baby. For me. Go."

Yumi sobbed.

"Eomma…"

Ji-eun kissed her too—soft, lingering.

"Be strong, baby girl. Protect your brother."

Dad hesitated—then nodded.

"We'll get lawyers. We'll fight. We'll come back for you."

He pulled Min-jae and Yumi toward the hallway.

"Service stairs. Now."

Min-jae looked back one last time. Ji-eun stood in the doorway—robe open, body exposed, hand on her belly. She smiled at him—sad, brave, beautiful.

"I love you, son. Always."

The door slammed shut behind them.

They ran—down the service stairs, hearts pounding, footsteps echoing. Yumi cried the whole way. Min-jae carried her when her legs gave out. Dad led—keys to the underground garage already in hand.

They piled into the black SUV. Dad floored it—tires screeching out the back exit just as police cars pulled up front.

Min-jae stared out the window. Rain blurred everything.

"She's alone. With them."

Dad gripped the wheel.

"She's strong. She'll hold them off. We get to the lawyer in Busan. We fight from there."

Yumi whispered.

"What if they take the baby?"

Min-jae's voice broke.

"They won't. I won't let them."

They drove in silence—hours blurring into night. The safe house was a small villa Dad owned outside the city—secluded, guarded. They arrived at dawn.

Inside, they collapsed.

No words at first. Just holding each other.

Then Ji-eun's absence became unbearable.

Min-jae broke.

"I should have stayed. I should have fought them."

Dad pulled him close.

"She told us to go. For the baby. For you."

Yumi curled into Min-jae's lap.

"Oppa… make love to me. Please. I need to feel something good."

Min-jae looked at Dad. Dad nodded.

Min-jae lifted Yumi. Carried her to the bedroom. Laid her down.

He stripped her slowly—hoodie, shorts, panties. Kissed every inch—neck, breasts, stomach, thighs.

"I love you, Yumi. No matter what."

Yumi pulled him down.

"Fuck me, oppa. Slow. Deep. Make me forget."

He slid into her—gentle, loving. Thrust slow. Kissed her tears away.

"You're so beautiful… so tight… my little sister…"

Yumi moaned softly.

"Oppa… cum inside me… give me a baby too… so we're together forever…"

Min-jae came—quiet, deep, filling her.

Dad watched from the door. Then joined. Kissed Yumi while Min-jae stayed inside her.

They made love for hours—slow, tender, desperate. No rough pounding tonight. Just connection. Just holding on.

Ji-eun's phone—Dad's backup line—rang at noon.

Dad answered.

"Ji-eun?"

Her voice—tired, but alive.

"I'm okay. They questioned me for hours. No charges yet. They're holding me for observation—hospital wing. The baby's fine. They're watching me like a hawk."

Dad exhaled.

"We're safe. Busan villa. Come when you can."

Ji-eun: "I will. But… they want the paternity test. Tomorrow."

Silence.

Ji-eun: "If it shows Min-jae is the father… they'll charge us all. Incest. Endangerment. They could take the baby."

Min-jae grabbed the phone.

"Mommy… we'll fight it. We'll disappear if we have to."

Ji-eun's voice cracked.

"I know. But I'm scared. For him. For her."

Dad: "We'll get you out. I have people inside. Tomorrow night. We break you out."

Ji-eun laughed—weak, tearful.

"My husband the criminal mastermind."

Min-jae: "We love you, Mommy. Hold on."

Ji-eun: "I love you too. All of you. Kiss Yumi for me. Tell her Mommy's coming home."

The call ended.

They sat in silence.

Then Yumi looked at Min-jae.

"Oppa… fuck me again. Hard this time. Make me scream. Make me forget we might lose everything."

Min-jae pulled her close.

"Anything for you."

He flipped her onto her stomach. Slid into her from behind—hard, deep. Yumi cried out.

"Yes… fuck your sister… pound me…"

Dad watched. Then joined—cock in Yumi's mouth.

They fucked—raw, angry, desperate. Yumi came screaming. Min-jae filled her pussy. Dad came down her throat.

They held each other after.

But Min-jae's phone buzzed.

A news alert.

*"Breaking: Kim Ji-eun, pregnant wife of CEO Kim Tae-sung, confesses in leaked police audio that stepson is the father. Full incest ring suspected. Arrest warrants issued for entire family."*

Attached: new audio.

Ji-eun's voice—clear, broken.

"Yes… the father is my stepson. Min-jae. We love each other. All of us do."

Min-jae stared at the screen.

Someone inside the hospital had recorded her private call.

They were officially fugitives.

Dad stood.

"We leave. Tonight. New identities. New country. We disappear."

Min-jae looked at Yumi. At Dad. At the empty space where Ji-eun should be.

"We get Mommy first."

They packed light. Weapons—Dad's licensed handgun. Cash. Passports.

The plan was simple: break Ji-eun out of the hospital wing before the paternity results came back.

But as they stepped outside—

Police lights flashed in the distance.

Sirens.

They were already coming.

To be continued…

The family is cornered at the safe house. Police closing in. Ji-eun still locked in the hospital. One night left before the paternity results leak and the world officially brands their unborn child a scandal. Do they run—or do they fight their way back to Mommy?
