When they got out, they could hear the faint sound of music booming from the club. It was as lively as always. They made their way past the line of people that stretched all the way to the alley, the bouncer giving a salute in acknowledgement.
As soon as they passed the threshold, they were assaulted by the loud shout of music. It did not bother Caesar much because he was used to it, but it seemed to startle and frighten his vixen. Caesar stole her a glance, and their eyes met again. "What?" she asked though the sound of her words was drowned out by the loud music, Caesar could still make out the word from the movements of her lips. He said noting in response, it would be pointless as she would not hear him and he never did things he knew to be pointless.
