"What did he have to say?" Caesar asked K.
"Nothing we do not already know, as expected, Sterling is not intending to go for enough members to support his position but rather all of them. His goal is to have you kicked out entirely so that your never have a claim on the Chairman's seat. And of course, Morris is his backer."
This came as no surprise to him. Sterling's intensions were anything but a mystery to Caesar. Rather Morris's intensions were quite obvious to him. As far as Caesar knew Morris was on a mission to remove the power the Valerius had over that organisation. And what better way to do that than weeding out the remaining member of that family completely. Caesar did admire the man's boldness and ambition as fruitless as they are. For Morris, a fresh and naïve pawn like Sterling was just that, a pawn, a stepping stone. Caesar really had no reason to worry about the two unless they played a move he never could ever predict, which he doubted they could manage.
