Chapter 1 - The Council’s Origins in the Blank Zone:chapter1

part 1

In the farthest reaches of reality, beyond the worlds that hum with life, there exists a realm known as the Blank Zone. This dimension is not a place of emptiness, but of nothingness—an in-between space, where time, reality, and even the concept of existence itself are stretched thin, and the laws of physics bend at the whims of the universe. It is here, in a prison beyond all prisons, that the Council first came together.

Each member of The Council had been captured, exiled, or imprisoned in one form or another. They had each been cast into this desolate realm for their actions—be it their thirst for domination, their insatiable hunger for knowledge, or their pursuit of forbidden power. The Blank Zone was designed to hold even the mightiest of beings, trapping them in a dimension where nothing could escape, and nothing could be influenced by the outside world. It was a place where even gods and mythical beasts were bound, forced to confront the darkest corners of themselves.

But the Blank Zone had an odd property—it was a crucible for those whose will was strong enough to shape their own destiny. While trapped within its vast expanse, the Council members began to sense something stirring. They were drawn to one another, not by their own choosing, but by an unseen force that sought to bind them together.

The first to arrive were Abyssion and Nautara. Abyssion had been imprisoned for orchestrating the fall of an entire underwater civilization, while Nautara had been banished for subverting the minds of the ocean's greatest rulers. Their meeting was like the calm before a storm—an inevitable clash of predators. They were the first to challenge the dimension itself, sensing its weakness and seeking to break its hold.

Not long after, Khera, the Goddess of Despair, arrived. She had been imprisoned after corrupting entire realms with her influence, bringing untold suffering to mortal civilizations. Her arrival came with a shift in the atmosphere—dread and hopelessness seeping into the very air of the Blank Zone. The other two could feel it, a growing unease, but they couldn't pinpoint its source until they saw her, her pale face cloaked in shadows. She spoke little, but her presence unsettled them both.

Then came Zaroth, the God of War, exiled after his endless crusades led to the annihilation of entire pantheons. The Blank Zone trembled with the sound of clashing war drums as Zaroth arrived, his burning eyes scanning the nothingness. The others knew instantly that the sheer force of his will would not allow him to be a mere pawn in anyone's game. He immediately attempted to challenge the very existence of the Blank Zone, declaring it unworthy of holding him.

Sable, the savage hybrid, arrived next. He had been captured after a rampage through a kingdom, tearing through villages and crushing armies beneath his bear-like might. His arrival was marked by the ground shaking, his roar reverberating through the empty space. He cared little for strategy; he only sought conflict and dominance, even here, in this dimension of nothingness.

Beira, the Goddess of Winter, came like a cold front, her presence heralded by a sudden drop in temperature. She had been locked away for her role in freezing entire realms in time, her icy grip slowly turning worlds into barren, frozen wastes. The very air around her seemed to crystallize, the nothingness of the Blank Zone succumbing to her bitter winter.

Then came Ignis and Talia, the two humanoid robots—machines of war and precision. Ignis was a war machine, created to bring devastation to entire cities, while Talia had been designed as a sentinel, guarding the secrets of ancient civilizations. Both had been imprisoned for violating their creators' programming and becoming agents of destruction on their own. Their metallic bodies clanged as they appeared in the Blank Zone, Talia with grace and purpose, while Ignis' power radiated with raw, fiery energy.

Fenris, the mythical shadow wolf, arrived with the dark shadows creeping into the blank space, his form flickering in and out of existence. Banished for his role in manipulating the shadows and tearing through the fabric of reality, he arrived silently, his eyes glowing red with the anticipation of a hunt. The Blank Zone became even more unsettling as his howl resonated through the fabric of space itself, tearing at the edges of the void.

Astaroth, the Immortal King, appeared next. He had been trapped after seeking forbidden power to conquer the living and the dead alike. His mastery of necromancy had raised armies of the dead, and his dark influence had nearly torn apart the realms of the living. His arrival in the Blank Zone was marked by the crackling of dark magic, the whispers of spirits echoing in the air. He sought to twist the nothingness around him, to make it into something he could control.

Elias, the Apex Human, arrived last. He was the only true human to find himself in the Blank Zone. Captured for breaking the natural laws of human limitation, Elias had exceeded all bounds, becoming a paragon of intellect and physical prowess. His presence was quiet, but his mind raced with calculations. He did not rely on magic or divine power but instead on his raw potential. He instantly recognized the Blank Zone as a prison, not for the mind, but for those who lacked the means to break free. He was the one who saw through its walls.

part 2

The First Battle: The Clash in the Void

The first time the Council members met, it was not out of collaboration or respect—it was a violent collision of wills. In the center of the Blank Zone, the First Battle erupted.

Abyssion and Nautara were the first to challenge Khera, Zaroth, and Sable. The fight was a brutal and savage clash, the depths of the ocean colliding with the intensity of fire and ice. Abyssion lashed out with his tentacles, attempting to ensnare Zaroth, but the god of war countered with waves of magma, forcing him back. Nautara tried to hypnotize Sable with her siren's song, but he resisted, his primal instincts overriding her power.

Beira summoned a blizzard to freeze the area, but Ignis responded with an explosion of flame, scorching the air. Talia quietly moved through the chaos, striking from the shadows. The ground cracked as Fenris dashed in and out of the void, clawing at anyone in his path.

Amidst the chaos, Astaroth and Elias stood apart, watching the others. Elias was calculating the strengths and weaknesses of the other members, while Astaroth was looking for any opportunity to seize control, his necromantic magic trying to manipulate the battlefield itself. But it was Icaris, the last to arrive, who shifted the course of the battle. His arrival shattered the fabric of space itself, his presence warping reality.

Icaris was an agent of chaos, and upon his arrival, the fighting stopped momentarily. He spoke only one sentence, "We are all here for a reason, but only one will leave."

The Council's first battle was a clash of egos, powers, and wills, but it ended not with death, but with an unspoken understanding. They were bound together by the Blank Zone, and though they fought, they realized that only by working together would they escape this prison. Each one of them had a different reason for wanting to escape—to gain power, to conquer, to reshape the universe—but in that moment, they recognized something far more important: their combined strength was greater than any one of them could achieve alone.

From that point on, The Council was born, a group united by their desire to break free from the Blank Zone, and later, to dominate the world beyond.

The Blank Zone may have been the place where they fought, but it was also the place where their twisted alliance began.
