Chapter 262 - The Forty Royal RVs, The Forgotten Bride, and the Snowfall of Destiny.

Valen's Departure

Valen stood before the mirror in his bedroom, adjusting the collar of his shirt as he prepared to leave for dinner at his family mansion.

He checked his appearance one final time before reaching for his jacket.

A knock sounded at the door.

"Sir, your keys," Gloria said as she entered.

Valen turned towards her and accepted the keys.

"Please pack the rest of my bags," he instructed.

"Yes, sir."

He watched her for a moment before slipping his keys into his pocket.

"Take care, Kiwi," he whispered.

Gloria looked up at him.

"You too, sir."

Valen studied her face, hoping to find something in her expression that might tell him what she was thinking.

Instead, Gloria smiled at him.

It was a small smile, but it was enough to make him hesitate.

He wanted to say something else.

He wanted to ask her to stop pretending that their kiss had meant nothing.

He wanted to tell her that he had missed her for two years, even when he had been too stubborn to admit it.

But the words remained trapped in his throat.

Valen finally turned away.

"I'll be back later."

"Yes, sir."

He left the room, descended the staircase, and walked towards the garage.

A few moments later, his car rolled out of the estate.

Gloria watched through the window until the vehicle disappeared from sight.

Then she lowered her eyes.

"Idiot," she whispered affectionately.

She shook her head, picked up his remaining luggage, and continued packing.

The Family Mansion

Twenty minutes later, Valen arrived at a magnificent mansion.

The gates opened as his car approached, and the security personnel immediately recognised him.

He parked, stepped out, and walked into the house.

"Mama?"

"Brother!"

A cheerful voice rang through the entrance.

Valen turned.

His younger sister, Asya, came rushing towards him.

She looked taller and more beautiful than ever, her appearance more mature than the last time he had seen her.

Valen's face immediately brightened.

"Asya!"

She threw her arms around him.

He hugged her tightly and lifted her slightly off the ground before setting her down.

"How is my big star?" he asked, smiling.

Asya grinned.

"Greater than ever!"

Valen laughed and kissed her forehead.

"That's my girl."

"Did you miss me?"

"Of course I did."

"How much?"

"Enough to tolerate you for an entire evening."

Asya gasped dramatically.

"Valen!"

He burst into laughter.

Before she could retaliate, Ms Eileen appeared from the adjoining room, wiping her hands with a towel.

"My big boy!"

Valen immediately turned towards her.

"Mama."

She approached him, cupped his face, and kissed his forehead.

"How is my baby?"

"I'm okay, Mama."

He hugged her tightly.

Ms Eileen held him for several moments, gently rubbing his back.

"You have become so thin," she complained when they finally separated.

Valen sighed.

"Mama, I haven't become thin."

"You have. Look at your face."

"Mama."

"And your clothes are hanging on you."

"I'm fine."

Ms Eileen narrowed her eyes.

"We shall discuss that at dinner."

Asya laughed.

"Brother, you are in trouble."

Valen pointed at her.

"You. Don't start."

She grinned and slipped her arm through his.

Then Valen noticed an elderly woman sitting in a luxurious chair, a walking stick resting beside her.

A younger woman stood behind her.

Valen's expression softened immediately.

"Lady Draevella Shadowvale."

The elderly woman lifted her eyes.

"Boy."

He walked towards her.

"Maa."

Lady Draevella extended her arms, and Valen bent down to embrace her.

She patted his back before pulling away to examine his face.

"Welcome back, boy."

"Thank you, Maa."

"You have been away too long."

"I know."

She tapped his cheek gently.

"Then perhaps you should stop travelling around the world and settle down."

Valen's smile disappeared.

Lady Draevella noticed.

But before she could continue, Ms Eileen called everyone towards the dining room.

"Come. Dinner is ready."

They settled around the enormous dining table, where an elaborate meal had been prepared.

Valen took his seat beside his mother while Asya sat across from him.

Lady Draevella occupied the head of the table, observing everyone with her usual sharp eyes.

After a few moments, she turned towards Valen.

"How is Mrs Lilith and the girls?"

Valen smiled.

"Everyone is fine, Maa."

"And the little ones?"

"Growing every day."

"Which one is your favourite?"

Valen did not hesitate.

"Tasnim."

Asya burst into laughter.

"You always say Tasnim!"

"Because Tasnim is my favourite."

"What about the other six?"

"I love them too."

"Then why is Tasnim your favourite?"

Valen leaned back in his chair.

"Because she is Tasnim."

Asya shook her head.

"You are impossible."

Valen chuckled.

"They are all my favourite in different ways."

Lady Draevella smiled faintly.

"Children have a way of softening even the hardest hearts."

Valen lowered his eyes to his plate.

For a brief moment, he thought about Gloria.

Then he pushed the thought away and continued eating.

Aram's Confession

At the other end of the family estate, Aram sat with his mother, Gayatri, while holding Pari and Prisha.

The twins were playing with his fingers, occasionally tugging at his sleeves and making happy little noises.

Gayatri watched her son for a moment.

"You look troubled."

Aram glanced at her.

"Mama, there is something I want to discuss with you."

Gayatri immediately straightened.

"What is it?"

Aram took a breath.

"I have someone I want to get married to."

Gayatri's expression changed.

"Zorina?"

Aram did not answer.

He simply looked down at the twins.

His silence was enough.

Gayatri sighed.

"I knew you loved her."

Aram's jaw tightened.

"She is mad at me."

"And why shouldn't she be?"

He looked up at his mother.

Gayatri shook her head.

"You cannot spend years expecting a woman to wait for you while you refuse to tell her what she means to you."

Aram remained silent.

"She loves you, Aram. But love does not mean she should spend her life guessing whether you will ever choose her."

He looked towards the twins.

"I know."

"Then fix it."

Aram swallowed.

"I want you to organise a secret wedding."

Gayatri stared at him.

"A secret wedding?"

"Yes."

"Aram!"

"Listen, Mama."

He leaned forward and began explaining his plan.

Gayatri listened carefully, occasionally asking questions and studying her son's face.

When he finished, she remained quiet.

Then she reached for his hand.

"Are you certain this is what you want?"

Aram looked at the twins in his arms.

Then he nodded.

"Yes, Mama."

Gayatri squeezed his hand.

"Then you must be prepared to accept the consequences of your decisions. A wedding cannot replace an honest apology, and it cannot force Zorina to forgive you."

Aram nodded again.

"I understand."

"Good. Because if you hurt that girl again, I will be the first person to remind you of what you have done."

Aram smiled faintly.

"Yes, Mama."

Gayatri leaned over and kissed the twins.

"Now, let us see whether my son is finally ready to become a husband."

The Marriage Proposal

Meanwhile, back at Valen's family dinner, Ms Eileen insisted on refilling her son's plate.

"Mama, it is okay," Valen protested.

"Hush now, sweetheart. You need to eat properly."

She placed another helping of food on his plate.

"God knows whether you have been eating while overseas."

Valen stared at the mountain of food.

"Mama, I have been eating."

"Then eat some more."

Asya laughed into her glass.

Lady Draevella cleared her throat.

"Valen, darling."

He looked up.

"Yes, Maa?"

The elderly woman gestured towards the young woman standing nearby.

"This is Cirilla, my friend's granddaughter."

Valen nodded politely.

"Hello."

Cirilla smiled at him.

Lady Draevella continued.

"I have been thinking about your future, and I believe the two of you would make an excellent couple. I want to arrange your marriage."

Valen paused with his fork halfway to his mouth.

Then he chuckled.

"No."

The room fell silent.

Lady Draevella's expression hardened.

"Excuse me?"

"No, Maa."

"You are getting married, Valen."

"No, I am not."

"Valen."

"Maa."

The two stared at each other.

Ms Eileen placed her fork down carefully.

Asya stopped smiling.

Cirilla looked uncomfortable.

Lady Draevella gripped her walking stick.

"You are a grown man. You cannot continue living without a wife."

Valen put down his fork.

"I do not want to marry anybody you bring into this house."

"Why?"

"Because I already have someone."

Ms Eileen looked at him sharply.

Lady Draevella's eyes narrowed.

"Someone?"

Valen nodded.

"I am fixing things between us."

"Who is she?"

He remained silent.

Lady Draevella's voice grew colder.

"You expect me to believe that you have a woman somewhere, yet you have never introduced her to your family?"

"I am not asking you to believe anything. I am telling you the truth."

Cirilla folded her arms.

"Why waste your time on her?"

Valen slowly turned towards her.

His expression became unreadable.

He took the final bite of his food, swallowed, and wiped his mouth with his napkin.

Then he stood.

"Thank you for dinner, Mama."

Ms Eileen looked at him.

"Valen, sit down."

He shook his head.

"I love you, Mama. Thank you for the food."

He leaned down and kissed her forehead.

Ms Eileen touched his cheek.

"Darling…"

He smiled gently.

Then he turned towards Asya.

"You, big star. Take care of Mama."

Asya blinked.

"Where are you going?"

Valen slipped his hands into his pockets.

"Mrs Lilith has organised a family road trip. I won't be around for months."

Ms Eileen stared at him.

"Months?"

"Yes."

"When did you decide this?"

"Recently."

Lady Draevella struck her walking stick against the floor.

"You cannot simply walk away from this conversation!"

Valen looked at her.

"I can, Maa. And I am."

He turned towards the door.

Asya immediately stood.

"Brother, wait!"

He paused.

She hurried towards him.

"Please, can I come with you? I'm on holiday!"

Valen looked at her for a moment.

Then he smiled.

"Pack your bags and meet me."

Asya's face lit up.

"Really?"

"Yes."

She threw her arms around him.

"Thank you!"

Valen hugged her back before releasing her.

"Goodbye, everyone."

He glanced at Lady Draevella.

"And please, Maa, do not waste your time trying to arrange another marriage for me."

Lady Draevella's expression darkened.

Valen merely smiled.

Then he walked out.

Behind him, the dining room remained silent.

Ms Eileen looked at her plate, wondering who had managed to capture her son's heart so completely that he was willing to challenge the entire family for her.

Lady Draevella leaned back in her chair.

Cirilla looked away.

And Asya, already imagining the road trip, hurried upstairs to pack.

Daddy's Little Princess

At the Lilith Estate, Nikolai sat beside Lunessa's crib, gently patting his daughter as he hummed a soft lullaby.

The little girl was growing sleepy.

Her eyelids fluttered.

Nikolai smiled and continued humming until she finally closed her eyes.

"Daddy's sweet princess," he whispered.

He carefully adjusted her blanket and kissed her forehead.

Then he slowly placed her down in her crib.

Lunessa shifted slightly but did not wake.

Nikolai watched her for another moment before standing.

He walked towards the door and closed it quietly behind him.

He was about to head upstairs when Lilith appeared at the end of the hallway.

"Nikki."

He turned.

"Yes, Bambi?"

"We are sleeping downstairs tonight."

Nikolai looked at her.

"Why?"

"Because you are not going upstairs anymore. Come with me, my love."

She took his hand and guided him towards their room.

Nikolai followed without arguing.

Inside, he sat on the edge of the bed.

Lilith knelt before him and began removing his walking boots.

He immediately frowned.

"Bambi, no. Please don't."

"Oh, hush now, baby."

She carefully removed one boot, then the other.

"Nikolai."

He looked at her.

"I am your wife. It is my duty to care for you. You always take care of me, and now I am taking care of you."

She began massaging his legs gently.

Nikolai leaned back against the pillows.

"Bambi…"

"Hmm?"

"You don't have to do all this."

Lilith continued the massage.

"I want to."

He watched her for a moment.

Then he reached down and gently stroked her hair.

She smiled without looking up.

"Where are we going, Bambi?" he asked.

Lilith finally raised her eyes.

"To a place you have always wanted to visit."

Nikolai became still.

She smiled.

"You will be travelling with someone special, somewhere two of your favourite people fell in love and never returned for thirty-one years."

His expression changed.

Lilith held his hand.

"So, my dearest, it is going to be a joyful and beautiful journey."

She paused.

"Besides, I want to change your environment for a couple of months. You have been carrying too much on your shoulders."

Nikolai looked at her for a long moment.

Then he smiled.

"You planned all of this?"

Lilith nodded.

"For you."

He leaned forward and kissed her forehead.

"My Bambi."

She pressed another gentle kiss to his knee before helping him settle comfortably on the bed.

Nikolai lay down.

Lilith pulled the blanket over him and tucked it around his shoulders.

He reached for her hand.

"Come here."

She climbed onto the bed beside him.

He drew her close and kissed her forehead.

"Thank you."

Lilith smiled.

"Sleep, my love."

Nikolai closed his eyes.

Within minutes, his breathing became slow and even.

Lilith remained beside him, gently stroking his hair.

For once, she wanted him to sleep without worrying about anything.

The world could wait.

The empire could wait.

Every responsibility could wait.

For the next few months, she wanted him to experience something he rarely allowed himself to enjoy.

Peace.

Kais Discovers His Wife's Hair

In Maryam and Jaxon's room, Maryam emerged from the bathroom after finishing her shower.

She wore a modest outfit, and her long black hair fell freely around her shoulders.

It was naturally curly, soft, and beautiful.

Jaxon looked up.

Then he froze.

For the first time, he was seeing her hair fully loose.

His heart began beating faster.

Maryam noticed his expression.

"Kais?"

He blinked.

"Hmm?"

She tilted her head.

"Your face is red."

Jaxon immediately looked away.

"Nothing."

Maryam stared at him.

"Are you sure?"

"Very sure."

She narrowed her eyes playfully.

"Then why are you not looking at me?"

He turned back towards her.

"I am looking at you."

Maryam smiled.

He shook his head and laughed quietly.

"Come here."

She walked towards him.

Jaxon gently took a strand of her hair between his fingers.

"It is beautiful."

Maryam's cheeks warmed.

"Thank you."

He looked into her eyes.

"You should let it down more often when we are alone."

She lowered her gaze.

"Really?"

"Yes."

He leaned forward and kissed her forehead.

"You are my wife. You don't have to be nervous around me."

Maryam smiled shyly.

"I am still getting used to everything."

Jaxon's expression softened.

"Then we will take our time."

He kissed her cheek.

"Now, go and get your bag. We are leaving soon."

Maryam nodded and walked towards the wardrobe.

Outside, the mansion was becoming a scene of organised chaos.

Suitcases rolled across the floors.

Staff members carried travel bags towards the waiting vehicles.

Security personnel checked the gates and confirmed the travel arrangements.

Arina stood near the entrance, carefully holding her newborn son.

His name was Krish.

Ethan had chosen the Indian name, and he seemed particularly proud of it.

Arina looked down at the baby in her arms.

"Krish Ethan," she whispered affectionately.

Ethan stood beside her, smiling.

"He is going to have the most interesting childhood."

Arina laughed.

"Especially with this family."

One by one, everyone began entering the waiting vehicles.

The enormous mansion was prepared for an extended absence, with its doors secured, security systems activated, and titanium-glass installations locked into place.

The estate was placed under full lockdown.

When the final vehicle departed, the gates closed behind the convoy.

The family was officially on the road.

Zorina's Anger

Elsewhere, Zorina sat in her room.

The door opened, and Aram stepped inside.

He immediately noticed the cigarette between her fingers and the materials she was using to roll more cannabis.

Her expression was hard.

"Rina," he said.

"Get out."

Aram closed the door.

"No."

Zorina looked at him sharply.

"I said get out."

He locked the door and threw the keys onto a nearby table.

"You and I have to finish something."

She laughed bitterly.

"Like what?"

Aram approached her slowly.

She moved away.

He stopped.

For a moment, he looked as though he wanted to say a dozen different things.

Instead, he sighed.

"I am sorry, Mama."

Zorina stared at him.

Then she turned away and exhaled smoke.

Aram moved around her and sat in front of her.

She looked at him coldly.

"Now you know how I felt."

He lowered his eyes.

"Yes."

"Do you?"

He looked up.

"Zorina…"

"No. Don't say my name as though that will fix everything."

Aram fell silent.

She turned away again.

"Look at me," he said gently.

She refused.

He reached towards her, then stopped when she pulled away.

Aram swallowed.

"I know I hurt you."

"You did more than hurt me."

"I know."

"You made me feel like I was the only person fighting for us."

His eyes lowered.

"I know."

"Then why are you here?"

Aram did not answer immediately.

He looked at her as though he was finally seeing the full weight of everything he had done.

Then he stood, moved closer, and carefully lifted her into his arms only after she allowed him to.

"Aram…"

She sounded surprised.

He held her close.

She placed her hands against his shoulders.

He looked at her.

"Mama."

Her eyes filled with tears.

He leaned forward and kissed her softly.

Zorina closed her eyes.

For a moment, the anger, the disappointment, and the pain seemed to recede.

She wrapped her arms around his neck.

Aram held her more tightly.

"Mama," he whispered again between gentle kisses.

Zorina responded with a quiet, trembling breath.

She rested her forehead against his.

Neither spoke.

They had so much to repair.

But for the first time in a long while, Aram was no longer pretending that his feelings did not exist.

And Zorina, despite her anger, had not stopped loving him.

That was precisely what made everything so difficult.

The Midnight Telephone Call

It was the middle of the night.

Giselle woke up crying.

"Gaga! Gaga!"

Nikolai stirred in his sleep.

Then he sat upright.

"Gaga?"

Giselle cried even harder.

He looked towards the crib.

"What is it, Gaga baby?"

Lilith woke up beside him.

She rubbed her eyes and sat up.

"What's wrong?"

"Gaga!" Giselle cried.

Lilith got out of bed and walked towards her.

"What's wrong, sweetheart?"

Giselle continued crying.

Nikolai sighed.

"Fuck."

Lilith shot him a look.

"Nikolai."

He raised both hands.

"Sorry, Bambi."

Lilith picked up her phone.

"Perhaps she wants someone."

She checked the screen and smiled when she saw the name.

"It's Baba."

Nikolai looked up.

"Who?"

"Sohan."

She answered the call.

Within seconds, Sohan's face appeared on the screen.

"Where is Elle?" he asked.

Lilith blinked.

"Huh?"

Nikolai leaned closer.

"Gaga?"

Giselle heard Sohan's voice and immediately cried louder.

"Gaga!"

Sohan's expression softened.

"Beta, dear?"

Giselle reached towards the phone.

"Gaga!"

Sohan smiled.

"Can't sleep either, angel?"

Giselle nodded.

Lilith laughed softly.

Sohan leaned closer to the camera.

"Grandpa can't sleep either."

Giselle sniffled.

"Grandpa?"

"Yes, sweetheart. Grandpa."

He lowered his voice dramatically.

"Grandma is making me drink yucky milk."

Lilith covered her mouth to hide her laughter.

Giselle immediately shook her head.

"Nu!"

Sohan widened his eyes.

"No?"

Giselle shook her head again.

"Nu!"

"Exactly!" Sohan declared. "Grandma says it is good for me, but I think she is trying to punish me."

Lilith laughed.

Nikolai shook his head.

"Now he is teaching her nonsense."

Sohan ignored him.

"Giselle, tell Grandpa a story."

Giselle began babbling.

Sohan listened with exaggerated seriousness.

"Oh, really?"

She babbled again.

"That's terrible!"

Giselle giggled.

"Gaga!"

"Yes, sweetheart. Grandpa understands."

Lilith placed Giselle comfortably on the bed with the phone positioned nearby.

The little girl became completely absorbed in the conversation.

For hours, Sohan entertained his granddaughter with stories, silly faces, and affectionate questions.

Whenever Giselle became sleepy, he would speak softly to keep her company.

Nikolai eventually lay back against the pillows.

Lilith rested beside him, smiling as she watched the two of them.

At exactly 3:56 a.m., Riyana leaned over and kissed Sohan's forehead.

"Come to bed," she whispered.

Sohan nodded.

"Just a moment."

Lilith kissed Giselle's forehead.

"Goodnight, my baby."

The little girl yawned.

Sohan smiled at her through the screen.

"Goodnight, my angel."

The call finally ended.

Giselle settled down, and Lilith gently carried her back to her crib.

Nikolai watched his wife tuck their daughter into bed.

Then he reached for Lilith's hand.

"Our children have everyone wrapped around their little fingers."

Lilith smiled.

"As they should."

He chuckled.

She leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"Now, sleep."

And at last, the room became quiet again.

The Birthday Nobody Remembered

Across the world, in an enormous mansion, a young girl stood at the top of the staircase.

She wore a simple dress and held a packed suitcase beside her.

Downstairs, the house was filled with the sounds of celebration.

Music played.

Guests laughed.

Staff members moved around carrying trays of food.

The girl looked down at the festivities.

Then she checked the time.

It was her birthday.

She had turned nineteen.

For a brief moment, she smiled hopefully.

Perhaps her family had planned something for her.

Perhaps they would remember.

She descended the staircase.

"Mom, today is—"

"Ah, Mrs Jane!" the older woman exclaimed, turning towards a guest.

She completely ignored her daughter.

The girl's smile faded.

She stood there for a moment, waiting.

Her mother did not look back.

The girl swallowed.

Then she turned towards the dining area.

Her father was seated at a table, examining documents.

"Father?"

He did not look up.

"Don't bother me. I'm busy."

"But—"

"Not now."

She stared at him.

Her lips parted, but no words came out.

Then her younger sister appeared.

"Daddy! Come and cut the cake!"

She grabbed his arm and pulled him away.

The family moved towards the celebration area.

Guests began clapping.

The birthday cake was brought out.

The girl's mother stood beside her father, smiling proudly as her younger sister posed for photographs.

Everyone seemed happy.

Everyone seemed to belong.

Except her.

She stood at the edge of the room, watching the people who had never seemed to notice her.

Not one person remembered her birthday.

Not one person asked why she was standing alone.

Not one person realised that she had already packed her belongings.

She turned away before the tears could fall.

Upstairs, she had carefully folded her clothes, packed her personal documents, and gathered the few belongings she considered important.

She had written letters for the people in the household.

She had prepared everything.

She was not leaving because of one forgotten birthday.

She was leaving because the forgotten birthday was simply another reminder of a lifetime spent being invisible.

She rolled her suitcase downstairs.

A guard approached her at the entrance.

"Happy birthday, Miss," he said quietly.

She stopped.

For a moment, she could not speak.

Then she smiled sadly.

"Thank you, Uncle."

She handed him several envelopes.

"Please give these to everyone in the morning."

The guard accepted them.

"Of course, madam."

He glanced towards her suitcase.

"Your car is waiting."

She nodded.

"Thank you."

The guard opened the door.

She looked back at the mansion.

Through the windows, she could see her family taking photographs.

Her father was smiling.

Her mother was laughing.

Her sister stood beside the cake.

The girl wiped her cheek.

Then she turned away.

"Sir is waiting, ma," the driver said gently.

She walked towards the car.

Her suitcase was placed inside, and she settled into the back seat.

The door closed.

The vehicle began moving.

As the mansion disappeared behind her, she looked out of the window one final time.

She had spent nineteen years hoping her family would love her.

Now she was leaving without asking them for anything.

She had no idea what awaited her.

But she knew she could no longer remain where she was unwanted.

By midnight, her life would change forever.

The Church of Shadows

By midnight, the girl stood inside an old church.

She wore a dark-red gown and a black veil.

The church was quiet, its candles illuminating the stone walls and the rows of empty pews.

An older woman entered through a side door.

"Is she ready?" she asked.

"Yes, my lady," the women replied.

The older woman approached the girl.

"Jasmine."

Jasmine lifted her head.

The woman studied her face.

"You understand what this means?"

Jasmine nodded.

"I do."

"Once you walk through those doors, your life will change."

"I know."

The woman reached for her hand.

"Then come."

She led Jasmine towards the entrance.

The doors opened.

A tall man stood at the other end of the aisle.

He was approximately eight feet two inches tall, a towering figure whose presence alone commanded silence.

He was feared throughout the territories under his control.

His name was Timur.

Timur was the youngest child of the late Lady Viktoria's family line and a man whose reputation had spread throughout the criminal underworld.

He was known for his anger, dangerous emotions, ruthless decisions, and almost emotionless expression.

He was the last-born son.

And he had come to fulfil his mother's final wish.

Lady Viktoria had chosen Jasmine for him before her death.

Jasmine Esposito.

The second daughter of the Esposito family.

A nineteen-year-old woman of mixed Russian and Polish heritage.

Her father and mother had given her life, but they had failed to give her the affection she had spent years seeking.

Now, the young woman they had neglected was about to become the wife of one of the most feared men in their world.

Timur watched her approach.

His expression remained unreadable.

When Jasmine reached him, he looked down at her.

"Name?"

She swallowed.

"Jasmine," she answered softly.

He extended his hand.

She placed hers in it.

His grip was firm but careful.

The priest began the ceremony.

Timur's Vow

The priest spoke about marriage, responsibility, loyalty, and the sacred commitment the couple was about to make.

When the time came, he turned towards Timur.

"Sir, your vows."

Timur looked at Jasmine.

For a long moment, he said nothing.

Then his deep voice filled the church.

"Lady Jasmine, I stand before you not as a man who fears the darkness but as the darkness itself, and before every crown, every throne, every empire, and every soul that dares to challenge my name, I give you my word that you shall forever stand beside me as my equal, my queen, and the woman my heart will choose in every lifetime

I vow to respect you when the world celebrates you and when the world turns against you

I vow to honour your voice even when it challenges mine and to protect your dignity even when my own pride demands otherwise

My enemies may know me as ruthless, my rivals may tremble at my silence, and the world may remember my name as a warning, but you will never have to fear the man you marry because my power will never become your prison and my authority will never diminish your worth

For you, my love, I will soften the edges of a heart the world believes is made of stone

I will cherish your smile as though it were the rarest treasure on earth, hold you close when the weight of the world becomes too heavy, and remind you every day that even the most feared man alive can find his peace in the arms of one woman

I will never mistake your kindness for weakness, your silence for submission, or your loyalty for something I am entitled to receive because you are not my possession

You are my partner, my honour, my greatest blessing, and the woman whose trust I will earn every single day

I vow that no crown will stand above your dignity, no empire will stand above our marriage, and no victory will ever be worth losing the love and respect we share

If the world declares war against us, I will stand beside you, not in front of you to silence your voice and not behind you to abandon your struggle, but beside you because you are my wife, my equal, and my forever

I will give you the truth even when it is difficult, the respect you deserve even when we disagree, and the freedom to remain entirely yourself even as you carry my name

I will kiss your forehead when words fail me, hold your hand when fear finds you, and love you in the quiet moments when there is no audience, no power to display, and no empire to defend

Because beyond the ruthless man the world sees, there is a heart that belongs to you alone

Let every rival understand that my loyalty is not a weakness and my respect for you is not a surrender, for a man who can command an empire yet cannot honour his own wife has conquered nothing worth keeping

Today I give you my name, my loyalty, my honour, my tenderness, and my future

And before God and every witness standing here, I swear that I will never demand from you a devotion I am unwilling to return, and I will never allow the darkness of my world to extinguish the light you bring into my life

You are my wife, my equal, my queen, my safest place, and my chosen forever

And if I were given a thousand lifetimes, I would search for you in every one of them and choose you again and again until my final breath

My world may belong to darkness, but my heart, my love, and my vows will be yours always

They will always belong to you."

The church fell silent.

Jasmine stared at him.

Tears slipped down her cheeks.

She had expected a cold man.

A dangerous man.

Perhaps even a man who would regard marriage as nothing more than an obligation.

She had not expected such a vow.

When it was her turn, she took a shaky breath.

"I will be loyal, Dog, sir," she whispered.

Timur's eyebrows drew together.

"Not Dog."

She blinked.

He looked directly at her.

"But Lady. My Lady."

Jasmine swallowed.

"Yes, my lord."

The priest cleared his throat.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Timur reached for her veil.

He lifted it slowly.

For the first time, he saw her face clearly.

She had a gorgeous face, delicate freckles across her cheek, and beautiful white-and-brown hair that framed her features.

Timur stared at her for a moment.

Jasmine looked up at him nervously.

He leaned forward.

Then he kissed her.

The kiss was firm and intense, but he did not hurt her.

Jasmine's hands rested against his chest.

When they pulled apart, Timur studied her expression.

She looked startled.

He lowered his head slightly.

"Are you all right?"

Jasmine nodded.

"Yes."

He held her hand again.

The priest smiled.

"You are now husband and wife."

The witnesses began offering their congratulations.

The assistant collected Jasmine's suitcase and carried it towards the waiting car.

Timur looked at his bride.

"Come."

Before she could respond, he lifted her into his arms.

Jasmine gasped and instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Sir!"

He looked down at her.

"Timur."

"Timur," she corrected softly.

He carried her out of the church.

The doors closed behind them.

And with that, Jasmine Esposito became Lady Jasmine, wife of Timur, the feared man whose name commanded silence throughout his territory.

The Empty Chair

The following morning, the Esposito family gathered for breakfast.

The dining room was filled with conversation.

Plates were arranged across the enormous table, and the staff moved between the guests, serving food and drinks.

But one chair remained empty.

Jasmine's chair.

Her father noticed it after several minutes.

"Whose chair is that?"

The room fell quiet.

Her brother stared at him.

"Really, Dad? You don't know?"

Her father frowned.

"What?"

"Jasmine sits there every day."

The older man looked towards the empty chair.

His wife sighed.

"She is probably hiding somewhere again."

The brother shook his head.

"Call her," the woman instructed one of the maids.

The maid hesitated.

"Madam…"

"What is it?"

"She is not in her room."

The woman frowned.

"Then where is she?"

The maid swallowed.

"Her belongings are gone, madam. Everything has been removed."

The room went silent.

"What?" the father exclaimed.

His wife waved a dismissive hand.

"Relax, darling. She has probably hidden somewhere in the house to get attention."

The maid lowered her eyes.

"Actually, sir, yesterday was Miss Jasmine's nineteenth birthday."

The father froze.

For a moment, he could not speak.

His mind returned to the previous day.

The birthday cake.

The photographs.

The celebration.

The girl who had approached him and tried to say something.

Father?

He remembered dismissing her.

Don't bother me. I'm busy.

Then another memory struck him.

Dad, I want to—

He had not even allowed her to finish.

His face slowly changed.

Before anyone could speak, a guard entered the dining room.

"Sir."

The father turned sharply.

"What is it?"

The guard approached him and held out an envelope.

"Before Miss Jasmine left, she instructed me to hand this letter to all of you."

The father snatched it from him.

He opened the envelope.

Then he began reading.

Jasmine's Letter

Dear Mr Esposito

My name is Jasmine

Your real daughter

You gave birth to me yet no care no love from anyone

You have no pictures of me in your mansion not even one

You and you only care about power money parties with your family

Not once even if I try to get your attention as my father

Yesterday I turned nineteen and signed a contract with a dangerous man giving him my life

By the time you get this I am already with him

Last night I knew you and your family don't care and love me the way I do

Maybe one day we all meet again

Signed

Jasmine

Your second daughter

The letter slipped slightly in his hands.

He stood up so abruptly that his chair scraped against the floor.

"Get six thousand men!"

Everyone looked at him.

"Find her! Bring her back home immediately! Go!"

The guard remained still.

"Sir…"

"What are you waiting for?"

"Sir, it is not possible."

The father's face darkened.

"Why is that?"

His wife stood.

"What do you mean, not possible?"

The guard swallowed.

"She has crossed the borders, sir."

The man went completely still.

"To where?"

The guard hesitated before answering.

"To you-know-who, sir."

The room fell silent.

The father stared at him.

The guard nodded.

"And by the time we could reach his territory, he would already have taken her away on a five-month family trip far from the city. After that, it may be possible to approach them, sir."

The father looked as though he had been struck.

The guard continued carefully.

"She married the leader. It was his mother's final wish, and Miss Jasmine fulfilled it."

Nobody spoke.

The mother slowly sat down.

Her son looked towards the letter.

Her daughter was gone.

The girl they had ignored for nineteen years had married a man whose territory they could barely enter without permission.

And she had left without asking them for anything.

The father tightened his grip on the letter.

"GET JASMINE!"

His voice thundered through the mansion.

The servants froze.

His family exchanged frightened looks.

But the order had come too late.

Jasmine had already crossed the border.

And the man who had taken her as his wife was not someone who would surrender her simply because her family had finally remembered she existed.

The Grand Departure

At the Lilith Estate, everyone gathered with their luggage packed.

Diana and her group had arrived, joining the enormous family convoy.

Zeno stood near the vehicles when he noticed Wiktoria holding her brother's hand.

Wiktor gently rubbed her forehead.

"Twins' love," he murmured. "Are you okay now?"

Wiktoria shook her head.

He patted her gently.

"Aw."

Then he looked towards the vehicles.

"Ready?"

Lilith approached Nikolai, who was standing near the entrance.

"Ready, angel?" she asked Rhea.

Rhea nodded enthusiastically.

"Uh-huh!"

Nolan stood nearby, holding Berlina while she sucked on her pacifier.

Lilith checked the final arrangements before looking towards her husband.

"Ready, Nikki?"

Nikolai smiled.

"Yes, Bambi."

She placed a small button in his hand.

He looked at it.

"What is this?"

Lilith smiled mysteriously.

"You'll see."

Lunessa's eyes immediately lit up.

She stared at the button as though she had been waiting for this moment all morning.

Lilith crouched beside her.

"Five…"

Lunessa leaned forward.

"Four…"

The entire family began gathering around.

"Three…"

Lunessa reached for the button.

Lilith laughed.

"Two…"

Everyone watched.

"One…"

"Ahhhhh!"

Lunessa pressed the button.

A low mechanical rumble travelled through the ground.

The iron gates outside the estate began opening.

Their enormous metal panels moved slowly, revealing the driveway and the impressive convoy waiting beyond.

Nikolai stared.

Then he burst out laughing as Lunessa giggled excitedly.

"Wow!"

The children began cheering.

"Wowwwww!"

"What is all this?" Nikolai asked, looking at Lilith.

She grinned.

"Surprise."

Mila stepped forward dramatically.

"Tada!"

She spread her arms towards the garage.

"Forty luxurious RVs!"

Nikolai stared at her.

Then he looked at the vehicles.

Then back at Lilith.

"Bambi…"

Lilith smiled.

"Come on, Nikki."

He adjusted his walking boots and began moving towards the garage.

Lilith stayed beside him, holding his hand.

"Slowly, my love."

"I am walking."

"I know."

"You are looking at me as though I am about to fall."

"Because I don't want you to fall."

He chuckled.

"You worry too much."

"And you pretend too much."

They continued walking together.

When they reached the garage, Nikolai stopped.

The vehicles were magnificent.

Forty luxurious recreational vehicles stood in organised rows, each prepared for the family's extended road trip.

The convoy was so extraordinary that the garage looked more like a private automotive exhibition than a place for ordinary travel.

Nikolai stared in disbelief.

Lilith leaned against his shoulder.

"Welcome to our little family road trip."

He turned towards her.

"Little?"

She smiled innocently.

"Yes."

He shook his head, laughing.

Nikolai's Surprise

Nikolai remained standing in the garage, staring at the vehicles.

"Wow, Lilith. This is amazing."

Leonid approached him.

"How much did you get these for?"

Lilith answered before anyone else could speak.

"Two trillion roubles, Boss."

Nikolai slowly turned towards her.

"Two trillion?"

She nodded.

"For all forty?"

"Yes."

He stared at her.

"Bambi."

Lilith smiled.

"What?"

"You bought forty luxury RVs?"

"Yes."

"For one road trip?"

"Yes."

He looked towards Leonid as though expecting someone to tell him this was a joke.

Leonid merely nodded.

Lilith folded her arms.

"I bought them two months ago for this trip."

Nikolai laughed in disbelief.

"Of course you did."

Amelia approached, her expression softening.

"Grandma was meant to be here with us."

Nikolai's smile faded.

He looked at her.

"Grandma?"

Amelia nodded.

For a moment, nobody spoke.

The thought of the family member who would not be joining them hung quietly in the air.

Lilith took Nikolai's hand.

"Come, Nikki."

He looked at her.

She smiled gently.

"This is for you. Especially for you."

Nikolai studied her face.

Then he nodded.

He followed her towards the vehicles.

The family began boarding the RVs.

Tiffany stepped inside one of the luxurious motorhomes and gasped.

"Wow!"

Diana looked around in amazement.

Her mother had sent her a message, and Diana immediately replied with a photograph of herself inside the RV.

The convoy was finally ready.

Lilith climbed into the driver's seat of the Royal Imperial Mega-RV.

Nikolai looked at her.

"You're driving, Bambi?"

She smiled.

"Yep."

He raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure?"

Lilith turned towards him.

"Would you like to drive instead?"

Nikolai considered the question for approximately one second.

"No."

She burst out laughing.

"Exactly. So enjoy the ride."

Nikolai sat beside her while the girls settled into their seats.

The engines started one after another.

The enormous convoy began moving towards the open gates.

And the family's extraordinary road trip officially began.

The First Night on the Road

By nightfall, the convoy had left Moscow.

The vehicles travelled together until the family reached a suitable place to stop.

One by one, the RVs parked in formation.

The vehicles were arranged into a secure campsite, with enough space for everyone to move comfortably between them.

The outdoor lights illuminated the area.

Some family members began preparing dinner, while others arranged blankets, chairs, and tables.

Children moved between the vehicles under supervision, laughing and calling to one another.

The adults gathered to eat.

Knox looked around the campsite.

"Where is Viper?"

Nikolai glanced towards him.

"Working."

Knox frowned.

"Working? We are on a road trip."

"I gave him a ₽30 billion deal."

Knox stared.

"You gave him a thirty-billion-rouble deal while we were leaving?"

Nikolai shrugged.

"He can handle it."

Lilith approached Nikolai with a plate of food and placed it in his hands.

"Eat, my love."

He smiled at her.

"Thank you, Bambi."

She sat beside him.

Around them, the family continued settling into the campsite.

Kalma gently rubbed her pregnant belly.

She had become pregnant through IVF, and the family was already excited about the new arrival.

Vittoria sat nearby, rubbing her own bump affectionately.

Diana looked up from her seat and noticed Selena eating across the campsite.

She stared for a moment.

Selena eventually lifted her eyes.

Their gazes met.

Diana immediately looked away.

Selena smirked and returned to her meal.

Diana lowered her eyes, pretending to be interested in her plate.

But Selena had already noticed.

And judging by the amused expression on her face, she was not planning to forget it anytime soon.

Timur's Gift to His Bride

Inside Timur's RV, Jasmine sat quietly beside her husband.

The journey had been overwhelming.

Everything was unfamiliar.

The vehicle.

The people.

The territory.

The man she had married.

Timur approached carrying a plate of food.

He extended it towards her.

Jasmine looked up.

"T-thank you, sir."

He frowned slightly.

She immediately lowered her eyes.

Timur placed the plate in her hands.

"You are my wife. You do not have to call me sir."

Jasmine nodded.

"Yes…"

He waited.

She glanced at him.

"Timur."

He gave a small nod.

"Good."

She began eating.

Timur sat beside her and reached for a small box.

He opened it.

Inside lay a magnificent black-and-red diamond ring.

Beside it was a spider necklace, crafted with extraordinary detail and set with rare gemstones.

Jasmine stared at the jewellery.

Timur picked up the ring.

"You are my wife," he said.

She looked at him.

"This is my symbol. My territory and my name."

He lifted the necklace.

"It is also my identity. Anyone who sees it will know that you are my wife."

Jasmine studied the jewellery.

"What if people make a fake one?"

Timur smirked.

"It is a rare gemstone. They cannot find it anywhere."

He took her hand and carefully placed the ring on her finger.

Then he fastened the necklace around her neck.

Jasmine touched the pendant lightly.

"It is beautiful."

Timur watched her reaction.

"Good."

She looked at him.

"Thank you, Timur."

He nodded.

Then he leaned back in his seat.

"By the way, which school did you attend?"

Jasmine swallowed her food.

"Oh, the public university. I was on a scholarship."

Timur glanced at her.

"What did you study?"

"Nursing and surgery."

He raised an eyebrow.

"Hmm. Doctor?"

Jasmine smiled shyly.

"Yes."

He studied her face.

"You are a doctor?"

"Not yet, Timur. I studied nursing and surgical subjects, but I still have to complete my professional training and qualifications."

Timur nodded.

"Good."

She looked down at the ring.

For a moment, neither spoke.

Then Timur turned towards her again.

"And stop calling me sir."

Jasmine blinked.

"What should I call you?"

"My name."

"Tim?"

His lips twitched.

"What?"

She looked up innocently.

"Can I call you Tim or Timmy?"

Timur stared at her.

Jasmine returned to her food.

He looked at her for another moment.

Then, unexpectedly, he smiled.

"Tim?"

She nodded.

"Timmy."

He shook his head.

"You are bold."

Jasmine looked at him shyly.

"I'm sorry."

He reached over and gently lifted her chin.

"Don't apologise for speaking to your husband."

She looked into his eyes.

He released her chin and leaned back.

"Tim is fine."

Jasmine's face brightened.

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Thank you, Tim."

His lips twitched again.

He looked away before she could notice his smile.

But Jasmine noticed it anyway.

And for the first time since their marriage, she felt a little less frightened.

Selena Catches Diana

Later that night, most of the family had settled down.

The RVs were quiet, their interiors illuminated by soft lights.

Some people were sleeping.

Others were watching films or talking quietly in their private lounges.

Diana, however, was still awake.

She sat alone in her room, watching Porn hardcore lesbian videos on her phone while seeking private sexual stimulation.

She was so absorbed in what she was watching that she did not notice the time passing.

Outside the room, Selena heard a moan.

She stopped.

Then she glanced towards Diana's door.

Curiosity got the better of her.

She quietly approached and looked inside.

Diana was completely unaware of her presence while Diana fingered herself Mhmhm she moaned

Selena raised an eyebrow.

Then she smirked.

"Kitty?"

Diana gasped.

She immediately grabbed her phone and looked towards the door.

"W-what are you doing up?"

Selena leaned against the doorway.

"Well, I was thirsty, and you were putting on quite a show."

Diana's cheeks turned bright red.

Selena lifted the drink in her hand.

"I thought I might as well watch with a nice drink."

Diana stared at her in horror.

Selena smiled mischievously.

"Thanks for the show."

Then she turned and walked away.

Diana remained frozen.

She slowly covered her face with both hands.

"Oh, my God."

She grabbed a pillow and pressed it against her face.

"I am never leaving this room again."

From the corridor, Selena's laughter could still be heard.

Six Days on the Road

By morning, the family had packed up and returned to the road.

The convoy continued through towns, open highways, and quiet stretches of countryside.

Every day brought a different routine.

There were stops for fuel.

Stops for food.

Stops to stretch their legs.

Stops to allow the children to play.

And stops to ensure that the enormous convoy remained in good condition.

The family settled into the rhythm of travelling together.

But beneath the laughter and luxury, several hearts were becoming increasingly troubled.

Valen's First Punishment

Valen sat at his desk, working through a pile of documents.

He had barely slept.

His eyes were tired, and his expression was hard.

Gloria entered with a file.

"Sir."

She placed it on the desk.

Valen took it from her rather abruptly and continued reading.

"Sir?" she asked again.

He did not look up.

"I'm busy, Ms Gloria."

She watched him.

Then she smiled.

"Your boyfriend is waiting for you."

Valen's hand stopped moving.

For the first time since she had entered, he looked up.

"My what?"

"Your boyfriend."

His jaw tightened.

"Who?"

"Jerome."

Valen stared at her.

Gloria maintained her smile.

"He has been asking me to go out with him, and I accepted."

Valen's expression became colder.

"Work is more important," he said sharply. "And he is not your boyfriend."

Gloria raised an eyebrow.

"Why are you deciding that?"

Valen scoffed and returned to his documents.

"You are off duty for now. I will work alone."

"But, sir—"

"Please don't."

His voice was quieter this time.

Gloria stopped.

Valen reached for the curtain separating his workspace from the rest of the office and drew it closed.

Gloria stood on the other side for a moment.

Then she smiled to herself.

"Okay, sir."

She turned and walked away.

Inside the office, Valen stared at the documents.

The words blurred.

He tried to concentrate.

He really did.

But all he could think about was Jerome taking Gloria out.

Jerome making her laugh.

Jerome holding her hand.

Jerome receiving the affection Valen had spent two years refusing to give her.

His throat tightened.

A tear slipped down his cheek.

He quickly wiped it away.

Then another followed.

Valen pressed his lips together and stared at the desk.

He had wanted to make Gloria jealous.

Now he was the one hurting.

And he knew exactly why.

Aram's Silence

In another RV, Zorina was driving.

Aram sat nearby, holding Pari and Prisha while playing with them.

The twins giggled as he gently moved their hands.

Gayatri entered the lounge carrying her phone.

"Aram!"

He looked up.

"Yes, Mama?"

She smiled triumphantly.

"I sent the wedding proposal, and it has been accepted."

Zorina's hands tightened around the steering wheel.

Aram looked at his mother.

"What?"

"Yes! Remember your childhood friend? Her family accepted the proposal."

Gayatri seemed delighted.

"She is a young, beautiful girl, and you two will make a wonderful couple."

Aram stared at her.

Zorina continued driving.

She waited.

She waited for Aram to say something.

To reject the proposal.

To explain that he loved her.

To tell his mother that he had already chosen the woman sitting behind the wheel.

But Aram remained silent.

"Oh," he finally said.

Zorina's face went still.

She turned her attention to the road.

Gayatri continued talking about the wedding arrangements.

Aram listened quietly.

Zorina said nothing.

From the back of the RV, Rafsan watched the exchange with growing frustration.

He leaned towards Gayatri.

"Shhh, you fool," Gayatri whispered sharply, covering his mouth when he attempted to speak.

Rafsan glared at her.

Aram chuckled faintly at their exchange.

But Zorina did not smile.

She continued driving, her eyes fixed on the road ahead.

And the silence between her and Aram grew heavier with every passing mile.

The Sixth Day

Six days passed.

For six days, the convoy travelled through different regions, stopping for fuel, food, rest, and supplies.

The family had grown accustomed to life on the road.

The RVs had become their temporary homes.

Meals were shared.

Children played together.

Adults gathered in the lounges.

And every evening, the convoy stopped somewhere new.

But the emotional distance between several people continued to grow.

Nikolai slept peacefully beside Mila and the girls whenever he could, finally allowing himself to rest without the constant demands of his usual responsibilities.

Lilith watched over them, quietly pleased that the trip was giving her husband the peace she had hoped for.

Valen, however, had barely eaten.

He buried himself in work, refusing to talk to anyone for longer than necessary.

His anger remained close to the surface.

Jerome continued getting closer to Gloria, and the situation increasingly annoyed her.

She had begun pretending to accept Jerome's attention in the hope that Valen would finally acknowledge his feelings.

But Valen's silence was becoming harder to bear.

Zorina had also been ignoring Aram for days.

Ever since he had accepted the wedding proposal, she had barely spoken to him unless it was necessary.

Aram tried to act as though everything was normal.

He played with the twins.

He spoke to his mother.

He participated in the family's activities.

But whenever Zorina entered the room, his eyes followed her.

And whenever he attempted to approach her, she found a reason to leave.

Meanwhile, Kalma gently rubbed her pregnant belly.

Vittoria offered her fruit and reminded her to eat.

Jaxon rested with his head on Maryam's lap while she read a book.

Maryam occasionally looked down at him and smiled, carefully turning the pages so as not to disturb him.

He had become increasingly comfortable around her, and she had begun to feel safe enough to enjoy the quiet moments of their marriage.

In another RV, Timur worked through documents while Jasmine sat beside the window.

She wore her new ring and necklace, occasionally touching the pendant as she watched the scenery pass.

She was still learning how to live with a man whose name frightened so many people.

But she had begun to notice the small ways he cared for her.

He brought her food.

He checked whether she was comfortable.

He asked about her studies.

And although his expression rarely changed, he seemed to listen whenever she spoke.

For Jasmine, those small moments mattered.

The Snowfall

As the sixth day drew to a close, the convoy entered a small town.

The weather changed suddenly.

The air became colder.

The sky darkened.

Then the first snowflakes began falling.

Jasmine looked up from the window.

Snow.

She pressed her palm against the glass.

More flakes drifted down, covering the road and the rooftops.

The landscape slowly transformed into a winter scene.

White snow settled on the branches of trees.

The road became quieter.

The cold intensified.

Inside the RV, the family began noticing the change.

Some of the children rushed towards the windows.

Others called out excitedly.

Lilith looked up from her seat.

A smile spread across her face.

Outside, the snowfall grew heavier.

She looked around at her family.

Nikolai was resting peacefully.

Mila and the girls were sleeping.

The others were settling down after another long day of travel.

For a moment, Lilith simply watched them.

All the people she loved were there.

They had travelled for six days, crossed different roads, shared meals, laughed together, and carried their private worries alongside their luggage.

Some were falling in love.

Some were struggling to admit it.

Some were learning how to trust.

And some were trying to repair the damage caused by years of silence.

Lilith looked out at the snow-covered landscape.

Then she turned back towards Nikolai and gently adjusted the blanket over him.

He stirred.

"Bambi?"

She smiled.

"I'm here, my love."

He reached for her hand without opening his eyes.

She held it.

Outside, the snow continued falling.

Inside, the family rested in the warmth of their travelling home.

Lilith looked at them one final time, her expression peaceful.

The journey was far from over.

And somewhere beyond the snow-covered town, new secrets, unexpected reunions, and difficult choices were waiting for them.

The road had brought them together, but it would be their hearts that decided whether they could remain together.
