Chapter 147 - The Queen’s Defiance and the Return to Aundh Royal Palace.

In Russia, Sergei was driving with Amanat in the car. Samarth sat strapped into the back seat while Raisa happily kicked the air. Amanat kissed her cheeks, making her giggle loudly.

They arrived at a magnificent mansion.

The guards bowed.

It was a large opulent château-style mansion. The house was built from light-colored stone with a dark gray roof. It featured multiple stories, a perfectly symmetrical design, numerous windows, and prominent towers at each end. The landscaping included formal gardens, fountains, and reflecting pools, creating a grand and elegant entrance. The entire property stood proudly upon a hill overlooking a lush green landscape.

Sergei stepped out.

His father, Don Kiselev, sat outside.

A woman also stepped out with her children.

Her name was Valeriya.

She had three triplet daughters and one son:

Serafima.

Melaniya.

Olesya.

And a son, Gennady.

Years ago, through IVF after his wife's death, she had secretly conceived using Don Kiselev's genetic material.

Amanat stepped down from the vehicle and adjusted her veil.

Sergei carried Samarth out of the car and gently placed him on the ground.

"He has kids!?" Olesya asked.

Mrs. Valeriya watched them.

"He doesn't have a choice to leave her. He is always under my control," she said.

"Of course," Melaniya replied.

"Ha! Welcome, my boy," Don Kiselev said as he hugged Sergei.

"Hello, Amanat."

She folded her hands together and bent to touch his feet.

"Bless you, dear," he said, respecting her traditional greeting.

"Mom, look at his cars! They have the Bratva logo!" Gennady exclaimed.

"What?" Mrs. Valeriya said.

More vehicles entered the estate.

Armed men stepped out and respectfully bowed toward Sergei.

Their eyes widened.

Samarth hugged one of the men.

"Hii Sammy!" they greeted.

"Hii Unca's!" Samarth replied happily.

"Come in. It's cold outside," Don Kiselev said.

Sergei turned toward Amanat.

"That is my stepmother and her children. My sisters are inside. I am here with you. They will protect you under my orders. Okay?"

She nodded.

He kissed her forehead.

Raisa babbled happily while resting in Don Kiselev's arms.

He kissed her cheeks.

They all walked toward the mansion.

"Wait! Wait!" a young woman called.

It was his sister, Nadezhda.

Sergei had three sisters:

Nadezhda.

Kseniya.

Oksana.

"Let me do the welcoming ceremony as per Indian tradition for the daughter-in-law," Nadezhda said.

Amanat blushed shyly.

Nadezhda performed the welcoming ritual and placed the tilak upon Amanat's forehead.

"Come in."

Amanat bent to touch her feet.

"Hey! Hey! No, please."

Instead, Nadezhda hugged her warmly.

"Hi."

She smiled at Samarth.

"Hii I Sam!"

"Hello Sammy. Come, come. Let's go meet everyone."

They entered the mansion.

Amanat noticed the portrait of a beautiful woman.

"That's my mom," Sergei said.

Amanat signed that she was very beautiful.

"Her name is Rasia. I named our little girl after her."

Amanat's eyes softened.

They entered the enormous living room.

The armed men walked inside, holding their rifles while positioning themselves throughout the room.

"Hi Brother!" Oksana greeted.

"Hello, sissy."

They hugged.

"Hi, Brother," Kseniya smiled.

They hugged him too.

"Hi. You must be Amanat?" Oksana asked.

Amanat nodded.

"Hi Sammy."

"Hii pwetty auntie."

"Awww… aren't you adorable?"

She hugged him.

"Sit, love," Sergei said, guiding Amanat to a seat.

She folded her hands politely.

"Kseniya, do you still understand sign language?" Sergei asked.

"Yes, Brother. Why?"

"My wife is mute. She understands sign language."

"Oh… I'm so sorry, dear," Oksana said.

Amanat shook her head.

"Here is my little baby girl, Raisa."

He gently handed the baby over.

They gasped.

"You named her after Mom?" Nadezhda asked.

"Yes. She's just like her."

They lovingly held Raisa.

"Come here, Sam."

Samarth waddled over.

Suddenly—

Amanat's phone chimed.

She tapped the message before showing it to Sergei.

"Hmm?"

He read it.

His expression immediately turned cold.

"How dare he?"

It was a court order demanding custody of Samarth.

"So he wants to fight?

Good.

Let him."

Amanat looked toward Samarth.

"Don't worry, my love. Everything will be fine soon. He's with us, not them."

Sergei took out his phone.

"I want you to fight this case and prepare a Deprivation of Parental Rights order. Fast."

Amanat became terrified.

He gently held her hand and kissed her forehead.

"Hello, Mihu.

It is finally good to see you."

The Supreme Matriarch stood before Lilith(Mhaira), who remained tied up.

"I believe you know what I want."

Lily(Mihu) looked directly into her eyes.

"A dumb chip from years ago… just to get revenge over something meaningless."

"It is power.

Wealth.

Money.

The whole underworld will bow at my feet.

I will ruin your family.

Every single one of them."

Lilith(Mhaira) chuckled.

"It's funny."

"What is funny, Mhaira?" the Supreme Matriarch asked.

"You want to achieve what your father never could.

I truly feel sorry for your mother.

I really do.

But you became exactly like him.

Burning with jealousy.

Hungry for power."

The Supreme Matriarch laughed.

Then—

She slapped Lilith.

"You got the King of Kings as your husband."

Slap.

"You gave birth to his child and became the Queen of the Underworld."

Slap.

"You became the key to the Golden Chamber!"

Again.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Until Lilith's cheeks turned red.

Lilith slowly raised her head.

A grin spread across her face.

"I've been through worse.

I only wanted a peaceful…

loving…

normal life.

But this is what I was dragged into.

Do you really think I wanted this!?"

She roared.

Everyone flinched.

Her scream echoed across the entire island.

"Bambi?" Nikolai whispered while climbing the opposite side of the mountain.

"I hope she's okay," Sohan muttered.

Inside the penthouse—

Lilith suddenly burst into loud laughter.

"I JUST WANTED A NORMAL PEACEFUL LIFE!

NO MAFIA!

NO BLOOD!

NO WARS!!!!!!"

She kicked the Supreme Matriarch.

The woman stumbled backward.

Her eyes widened.

"You want the mountain?

Then come and get it!"

The Supreme Matriarch slowly stood.

"Two days.

By tomorrow night you will open that chamber…

or Mila will pay with her life."

Lilith froze.

"Don't touch my Mil."

"Oh…

You don't even know.

I already know where she is.

She is here in India with the Bratva for a wedding.

My men are surrounding her.

One word from me…

and she drops dead."

She turned to leave.

"Give her two hundred lashes."

"Yes, Boss."

"Touch me…

and Nikki will have your head.

He's your King, remember that…

Malvika."

The Supreme Matriarch stopped.

"How do…

you know my name?"

"You think I don't remember you?

I do.

He saw your birthmark on your neck.

Malvika.

You and your father were always the same.

Stealing what never belonged to you.

If I ever get my hands on you…

I swear on my daughter…

you and your entire group will pay!"

Several women instinctively stepped backward.

The Supreme Matriarch—

Malvika—

laughed like a madwoman.

"Beat her.

One hundred.

Not two hundred."

The women grabbed heated irons.

They began striking Lilith.

She endured every blow.

Then…

she laughed.

Loudly.

Outside—

"Madman Austin is gone!" a guard shouted.

"What!?

Find him!"

"Get him!"

Meanwhile—

Austin crawled out through a drainage pipe.

He was covered in blood.

Weak.

Barely breathing.

"Umma…"

He whispered.

Using a wooden stick, he slowly pulled himself forward.

Rohan's convoy finally arrived at his ancestral home—

Aundh Royal Palace.

The Aundh Royal Palace stood majestically atop a gentle hill overlooking the lush green landscapes of Maharashtra. Towering golden domes shimmered beneath the warm Indian sun. Built from polished white marble, black basalt stone, and rich sandstone, every wall was adorned with intricate Marathi carvings of peacocks, lotus flowers, vines, sacred bells, and traditional motifs inspired by the heritage of the Maratha kingdom.

Massive teakwood doors reinforced with engraved gold and silver panels opened into a palace that radiated royalty, devotion, and immense wealth.

The palace contained four hundred lavish royal bedrooms, each uniquely designed for members of the royal family, distinguished guests, nobles, commanders, and honored visitors.

Every bedroom featured hand-carved teak furniture, embroidered silk bedding, Kashmiri carpets, golden chandeliers, private marble balconies overlooking the royal gardens, luxurious bathing chambers, and beautifully painted ceilings depicting scenes from Maharashtra's history and culture.

At the heart of the palace stood the magnificent Golden Royal Hall, a breathtaking chamber supported by towering pillars wrapped in gold leaf. Crystal chandeliers illuminated polished marble floors inlaid with precious stones while magnificent murals celebrated the courage of Maratha warriors, the prosperity of the kingdom, and the blessings of the gods.

Velvet banners bearing the royal emblem hung proudly above rows of golden thrones reserved for the King, Queen, princes, princesses, ministers, and honored guests.

The grand Durbar Hall served as the kingdom's ceremonial court where royal decrees were announced, ambassadors welcomed, and festivals celebrated beneath soaring ceilings decorated with exquisite frescoes, enormous crystal chandeliers, handwoven silk draperies, and intricately carved balconies.

A vast Royal Treasury safeguarded generations of accumulated wealth, containing gold bars, silver coins, jeweled crowns, ceremonial swords, pearl necklaces, emeralds, rubies, diamonds, priceless heirlooms, sacred relics, and royal treasures passed down through generations.

Nearby stood the Royal Armoury displaying polished swords, spears, shields, bows, muskets, ceremonial armor, battle axes, daggers, and masterpieces crafted by legendary artisans.

The Royal Library contained thousands of manuscripts, sacred scriptures, Marathi literature, historical records, maps, chronicles, illuminated texts, and ancient scrolls preserved upon carved wooden shelves.

Grand dining halls stretched across entire wings of the palace where hundreds of guests enjoyed traditional Maharashtrian cuisine served upon ornate silver and gold platters while musicians performed classical melodies and dancers entertained the royal court.

Surrounding the palace were magnificent gardens blooming with jasmine, roses, marigolds, hibiscus, lotus ponds, mango orchards, banyan trees, flowering shrubs, sandalwood trees, fountains, gazebos, marble pathways, peaceful courtyards, and elegant pavilions.

Behind the palace stood a magnificent ancient temple crowned by a towering shikhara, beautifully carved stone walls, sacred bells, colorful rangoli, countless oil lamps, sacred flags, and peaceful prayer courtyards.

Beyond the temple flowed a crystal-clear river with elegant ghats, graceful bridges, flowering riverbanks, and cool breezes carrying the soothing sound of flowing water.

The surrounding forests echoed with Indian peafowl, parrots, kingfishers, bulbuls, mynas, hornbills, sunbirds, cuckoos, doves, eagles, swans, cranes, and countless native birds while deer, blackbucks, rabbits, squirrels, butterflies, and other wildlife wandered freely.

Within the palace complex stood magnificent royal stables housing majestic Marwari horses, ceremonial elephant enclosures, carriage houses, elite guard training grounds, guest residences, noble quarters, artisan workshops, banquet halls, museums, galleries, meditation gardens, secure gateways, fortress walls, and enormous golden gates protected day and night by thousands of palace soldiers.

Every corridor reflected the grandeur of Maharashtra's royal heritage through carved wooden ceilings, polished marble floors, decorative brass lamps, Paithani textiles, silk tapestries, sacred symbols, priceless artwork, glittering gold ornaments, jewels, crystal chandeliers, handcrafted furniture, magnificent statues, and timeless craftsmanship.

The Aundh Royal Palace stood as the ultimate symbol of devotion, strength, prosperity, elegance, unimaginable wealth, supreme power, everlasting royal dignity, and the proud spirit of Maharashtra.

Everyone stepped out.

Mila remained asleep.

Rohan covered her ears while drums echoed and flowers rained down upon them.

He smiled as he entered the palace.

"Ronny!!"

The family called.

"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."

Everyone noticed Mila sleeping.

"Oh my goodness…

Is she yours?" his mother asked.

"I wish.

But she's Boss's daughter.

Mila.

They're on a mission, so I didn't want to leave her alone.

She's with me."

"Awww…

She's beautiful."

"She's asleep, so shhh."

His mother nodded.

She performed the welcoming ceremony.

Rohan touched both his parents' feet.

"Bless you."

The family welcomed everyone inside.

The ruling family was known as The Royal Family of Ghorpade, who ruled the entire village and kingdom.

King Mahadji.

Queen Ishwari.

Their seven children:

Princess Bhakti.

Princess Medha.

Princess Ketaki.

Princess Trupti.

Prince Rohan.

Prince Swaraj.

Prince Aadesh.

Rohan smiled at them.

He removed the baby carrier and gently held Mila in his arms.

He sat down.

Oyiva handed him a blanket.

He carefully covered Mila.

"So, boys…

How is Russia?" King Mahadji asked.

"You know…

the usual.

Work.

Fight.

Blood.

Make more money.

Take orders."

Nolan answered.

"In other words…

We're tired," Jaxon added.

Everyone laughed.

"So who is this little angel?" Prince Aadesh asked.

"Mila.

Nikolai Devereaux's daughter.

Boss and Lilith's daughter."

"Nikolai got married?" Princess Medha gasped.

"Yeah.

To Sohan Muard's last-born daughter—

Lilith Mhaira Baneva."

"What!?"

Everyone shouted.

Mila flinched in her sleep.

"Sorry…

Sorry…"

They covered their mouths.

"Sohan Muard's daughter?

The Gem of the Obsidian Trail?" King Mahadji asked.

"Yeah."

Brandon nodded.

"Wow…"

The family continued talking, laughing, and enjoying their meal together.
